   When made reservation wasn’t aware that everyone had to be there I mean everyone!! In order to seated. Once seated a server that wasn’t my server kept giving us a dirty look, making my family very uncomfortable. And it was my engagement dinner !! Told that people can’t come and join the occasion once seated.

   My wife and I came to celebrate being newlyweds. Our waitress was nice but not very attentive to us. We did enjoy a different waitress who went out of her way to find the perfect champagne for the celebration. She was super nice and courteous. And went above and beyond to make our night special. I wish I could remember her name. The food overall was okay, it definitely wasn’t what we were expecting. We both had the American burgers with a salad. The salad was fantastic and fresh but the burger was dry and the bacon almost tasted fake. Super thick and rubbery. Overall our experience was okay, we will definitely be giving it another chance but just wasn’t what we were expecting.

   The ambiance was great, drinks perfect and great service. Food was not great for the quality of restaurant. I will be back for drinks and great vibe but maybe next time try the pizza instead of the steak frites and ravioli.

   The atmosphere is great, the service was great, the wood fire pizzas were great. The only thing we didn’t care for was the loaded fries. The fries taste like frozen fries and the cheese didn’t have much flavor. But the overall experience was worth it. Definitely will come back.

   Service was poor, we were sat all the way in the back and forgotten. It took 20 minutes just to get water, and they weren’t even there busy. Fries weren’t hot on any of our entrees, the appetizer and food pretty much came together. My medium burger was well done and extremely dry. Won’t be returning, best part was simply the view.

    Went for Christmas Eve breakfast with my husband. The breakfast options were delicious and price was good. Definitely will be back for breakfast! We’ve been here for breakfast, brunch and dinner and enjoy everything we get there.

    Our igloo experience was ruined so I’d advise easing up on the strict rules- “no one from the reservation can enter the igloo until the entire reservation party arrives” when we intentionally told 2/4 guests to arrive later so we could set up some decorations and have drinks/appetizers ready. We were also told we would need to be gone by 6:45 because they had all igloos booked at 7…we sat at a normal table til 7:30 and only 2 igloos remain😂. With the money that’s being charged (almost $40 a person), you’d think the experience would’ve been simpler and a little more accommodating but that wasn’t the case for us. With a 5:00 reservation, we weren’t served drinks until 5:45 so I would maybe recommend the heights for drinks in a cool atmosphere but NOT for an igloo or a large group/special event.

    We made reservations for Thanksgiving evening at 615pm. The day before we got a phone call from the restaurant saying that their regular menu would not be available, only a Thanksgiving buffet. Upon arrival, we were told that the buffet ended at 4pm and the regular menu was our only option. We had gotten ourselves excited about the buffet, so that was disappointing. Lots of confusion on why we got a call the day before with a 615pm reservation time.

    Every item on the buffet was ice cold. Have you ever eaten cold mashed potato's? Pizza was like the stuff you have the morning after for breakfast; cold. The only thing not cold were the deserts.

    Very expensive for what you got! Not sure the reason, maybe the location. The food was sub-par, but acceptable. In my opinion not enough choices for that price.

    We went for breakfast on a Saturday. The service was very good and so were the potatoes that came with my meal. The rest of the food was just OK. Unless I hear that the quality of the food improves I probably won't go back.

    The menu lacked a lot. No seafood options. We ordered an apple salad with salmon and our salad came without apples. We ordered a wood fire pizza it was not hot by the time it got to us. The service was poor our server came by twice the entire time didn’t really communicate or ask what our needs were almost in a rush to push us out the door. This is our last time attending.

    The Heights is located on the 12th Floor of the Renaissance Toledo hotel. It has a great view. We had pizza and salad for a reasonable price. The service was wonderful and fast.

    Stayed at the hotel for the night and was looking forward to a good meal and glass of wine. The space is nice but the server Jack while nice didn’t really know the menu, didn’t seem to be a fan of the food and blamed it all on working one day a week. Meatballs arrived and were room temp at best, they only had enough turkey for one sandwich when we wanted to two and drinks sat forever when their weren’t more then 25 people in the whole place. I’d only suggest this place if you are in the hotel and even then I’d say sit at the bar for hopefully better service.

    We had such a great experience at this restaurant the night before, we came back for breakfast. We were there early and it was very quiet so our server provided impeccable service and the food was delicious - kudos to the chef for making the hash browns crunchy but not burnt! Because of the floor to ceiling windows, we were able to watch the sun come up over the Maumee River…beautiful!

    Everything about this restaurant was great! This evening we had drinks & apps. The restaurant opened up to an open air deck w/ seating. The entire restaurant had floor to ceiling windows giving you views of the Maumee River. Even though they were busy, service was spot on.

    I set a reservation for my partner's birthday, we did this last year too. The food was great, the service and wait wasn't bad and the view was breathtaking. Just wish we could have set a larger RSVP party size without calling.
