My wife and I really like this place. Great views, drinks, food, and people.
Be advised that with an afternoon reservation you may actually be able to reserve a time when the kitchen is closed, which is just slightly inconvenient if you actually want a meal.
The view is as good as advertised, you can more or less get the full view of downtown Toledo from the seating area. The appetizers are substandard. The pretzel is county fair quality and served unenthusiastically while the shrimp and grits are perfunctory.
The bartender was...not good, serving us two drinks that were not what was ordered. Once you do get the right drink, though, it's fine.
Dinner prepared from the kitchen was pretty good overall. The chicken and greens are surprisingly well done if slightly over dressed.
Both the regular brick oven pizza and the dessert pizza (order after our original choice was sold out) were under whelming and under cooked.
A restaurant should have either music or televisions running, not both at the same time. In a non-COVID period, the acoustics in the place make holding a conversation a significant challenge.
Valet service, at least, is attentive and prompt.
The view is lovely, but that's about it. There's this idea that the juice should be worth the squeeze in your restaurant experience and there's clearly some work to do. Go, once, for the view with no real culinary expectations and you'll be fine. If you want really good food and service, though, go elsewhere.
Everything was excellent, besides the wait for our meal. After placing our order it took 1hr and 5 minutes to get our breakfast. They weren’t crowded, we had reservations, and plenty of staff were available on the floors.
Limited domestic beer selection.
The service and restaurant was very nice..........
Great view and food is solid. Very laid back and casual.
Great place
Had a great time, was entertaining family from out of town.. I was shocked about the overall look of the restaurant, seem dingy and dirty and a lot of clutter.
It was great! Will definitely come back!!
Dinner with my wife, can’t do it in Michigan so we chose The Heights!
Incredible views of downtown Toledo, affordable menu prices, and plenty of space to socially distance on weekdays. Definitely will return!
Add more seafood options. The smoked chicken wasn't done.
Amazing! The service, view, and atmosphere was perfect! Food and drinks were delicious! I’m hard to please as a foodie and I wouldn’t change a thing. We will be back again and again.
The food was burnt and dry. The waiter was very preoccupied and did not service us to our expectations. The view was beautiful and would be a good place if you’re just going for drinks. If you’re looking to eat food there I wouldn’t do it. It was quite pricey for such a little food that wasn’t very tasty.
My wife and I made the drive for brunch on a local friend’s recommendation and we were not disappointed. The food was great, the service was excellent and prompt, everybody is friendly and entertaining, and the view was terrific. Cute little rooftop atmosphere and a very comfortable space. Would absolutely recommend it to anyone. I am not sure how dinner is, but if it’s anything like the brunch it would be top notch.
Had to go back a second time in less than a week to make sure this place was as good as I thought. Very well ran, clean and efficient, food was amazing, only wish they would turn the lights down a smidge.
Fantastic! We had the best experience with food and service. Our waitress Kyla was extremely helpful and kind. We will definitely be returning regularly!
Hostess was friendly and helpful. Server was also friendly and attentive. The location, ambiance and view was lovely. And of course the food was tasty.
Great service! Will definitely be back to dine at The Heights.
It was a nice restaurant with a beautiful view. We really enjoyed our time there.
Pretty good food with an ever changing menu but the beast burger was awesome. Nashville hot chicken not so much. Their seasonal old fashioned was way too sweet but had good flavor. Smore pizza needed more graham cracker but was tasty.
Biggest issue was the air flow from the vents. It was either cozy warm out Arctic wind cold. They need to redirect the air flow so it isn't direct into the table. It literally blew our menus and bill off the tabletop.
Food service was incredibly slow considering it wasn’t extremely busy. Also, this is the third time we’ve been there where the inside was extremely cold. Server was very nice and the space is beautiful.
Birthday. Food was good.
The service was absolutely amazing. The rooftop outside seating area is beautiful. Food and drink were amazing
Place was really nice -loved the view but the food wasn't the best and the price for what I ate was ridiculous.
I would go again but just for drinks
Everything was delicious and a beautiful view
My husband and I are over 65 years old. The view is great, the noise is way to loud for people our age to hear each other. The wait staff was excellent, the table was really small, the food was good but I wouldn't consider it "dinner." The pizza was small, very good but mostly crust.
We had a great experience all around. Only issue I had was that I had called to check on whether they offered gluten free pizza crusts. They checked to make sure and told me yes, but when we got to the restaurant they did not. The food was a bit overpriced, but you are paying more for the great ambiance. Very nice for a special occasion.
Very clean and classy with a nice vibe. The shrimp and grits are excellent, along with the Mimosa Service!
First time at the Heights and loved it!
View was awesome, the staff was very helpful, and food/prices where great!
Will be coming back!
the heights is not for a monday evening! which isn't a bad thing but it definitely is for a weekend night when things get lively.
Went for homecoming so fun!
Warm greeting when we arrived. View is spectacular. We ordered 3 different meals and we thought they were all incredible. Service was exceptional.
Beautiful views, fantastic food and great service!
Loved the view and the food was delicious! 5 Stars - I was even running a little late to our reservation and they did what they could to save our table. So appreciated!
Lauren Minder was exceptional. Always love coming here! Xoxo
This was my first time at the restaurant and the food was very good. I really liked the pork eggrolls. We had a group of 15 and our server was exceptional
Great place !
The menu choices are too few...I was hoping for a bigger selection. But other than that we had a GREAT time! We had seats on the out on the patio and the weather was perfect. We will be returning for sure.
Outstanding- great food, service, & environment!
Beautiful views ambience is modern. Been there a few times over the last few years. Food is nothing spectacular but good. Have a few classy cocktails but they lack quality fir the price. Overall nice place to go on a date or get together.
