   Had a really nice meal here on a late sunday afternoon. 3 adults and 3 children. Everyone loved their food. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. The table magician was brilliant. A lttle pricey but it was a treat. Would reccomend and would return. Thanks

   To satisfy your hunger yes as a dining experience not really. Value for money ok but not brilliant. Don't fell the staff had had enough training - willing enough but rather too amateurish.

   This was our first visit but it won’t be our last, the staff are very friendly and attentive without being too full on. The service was excellent and the food was amazing, great food and perfect portions

   Great decor, great location next to the golf course, fantastic staff and good food. We even had a slight of hand magician call at the table who was unbelievable! Would definitely recommend this place!

    I booked myself and my partner into the hawthorns for a valentines meal. The food was fantastic. I had the fried camembert which was cooked to perfection. My partner had the soup of the day which was leek and potato. Nice and creamy and well seasoned. For our main course my partner had the sirloin steak, which came with bone marrow. Now. I am not sure why we have started to eat bone marrow, but we both found it bland and tasteless. Needless to say it was taken home for the dog who devoured it. I had the lamb henry with was delicious. Perfectly cooked and falling off the bone. Cheeseboard for me for desert, however - if you have had a starter i'd get something else as it was MASSIVE. I gave it a good go but I couldn't finish it all. My partner had a chocolate brownie which was a special. It was well enjoyed. Now. The staff seemed very hit and miss. They seemed to be a younger workforce, which isn't a problem, but seemed relatively in experienced. One girl couldn't really crack a smile, no matter how hard we tried. Most of the others seemed lovely and willing to have a chat and a joke. I would recommend this place to others for sure.
