The Hawthorn is a Georgian gem in the heart of Haworth, packed full of period features offering a relaxed environment to unwind with friends and family. This warm and appealing gastropub has been renovated throughout to showcase an array of local antiques including a stunning array of Barraclough clocks, homage to John Barraclough himself, Clockmaker to the Brontes, who used to live in this very building in the Georgian era.

We serve only food made using the freshest seasonal British produce and our menu changes through the weeks to reflect this.

We have a custom-made Josper charcoal grill which is the hottest indoor grill available and used by the best restaurants in the country. Cooking on the Josper ensures none of the natural moisture or flavour escapes from the food, whilst at the same time adding the distinct chargrilled taste.

I am so happy our friends recommended this place to us, it is absolutely amazing! The food, the ambience, the cocktails everything was spot on! I really liked how they had seasonal themes to the food and drinks (the Pumpkin Spiced Espresso Martini was the best cocktail I have ever tasted!) The staff were very friendly and attentive, the music that was playing was perfect, it was such a memorable experience we will definitely be back!

Always love to eat at the Hawthorn. The food is exceptional & all the staff are lovely. This is the third time myself & my partner have eaten there. My partner had the haunch of venison which he said was cooked to perfection. My daughter & her partner are both vegetarians & were also impressed with the quality of their meals.

Excellent Sunday roast in an excellent location, waited nearly 3 months for our reservation and we were not disappointed! Everything was top quality and cooked to perfection, definitely be back.
