   I think we got unlucky with our table being in a high traffic area so having people walk by every few seconds wasn’t very relaxing. However, the service and food was great. Just don’t sit near the kitchen :)

   I made reservations for my husband’s birthday. We had a wonderful time. The food was phenomenal and the service was top rate. They had an extensive selection of local beer, wine and spirits. My husband, who doesn’t drink alcohol, was able to order from a pretty extensive list of NA beers. They even brought him a giant piece of chocolate cake the size of his head with a candle in it. It was a delightful experience overall. Highly recommended for a special night out.

    Our server Dean went above and beyond to make our experience amazing. Dan the bartender is personable, makes great drinks and is open to exploring cocktails off the beaten path. Gluten free options, including rolls, and pizzas are tasty. Would highly recommend.

    The service was amazing. We drove 75 minutes to get there and it was worth it. We were not rushed and our server was always making sure we didn't need anything. Food was awesome, it was the second time we went there for dinner and looking foward to the third time.

    I love it here. Very comfortable and comforting ambience. I adore their rolls and bread! Hubby loved his duck, I loved my swordfish. Not cheap and service was not as attentive as usual but no glaring issues.

    The ambiance at the Otesaga is old world wonderful. The view of the lake is spectacular. The service was top notch. The food was very good and the prices rival ANY of the restaurants in the village.

    The food is always fresh and delicious and there are many options to choose from on the menu. The drink specials are great. I love the Angry Upstater. The staff is always friendly and attentive.

    You can't beat the ambiance of the Hawkeye Bar and Grill. The setting is gorgeous, the hotel that houses the grill is gorgeous, the service was impeccable and the food was delicious.

    Service was good, nice waiter, but could have been a bit more attentive. Sat with an empty beverage for some time, other person took beverage order. And sat with finished dinner plates for a while, waiting. We were in no rush but this was too inattentive, chatting it up all around us but not serving us. Needs some more training. Onion soup was very good, crispy duck was not crispy and asked for more medium than rare, was more rare. Wife enjoyed the endamame app, noodles were good. Dinner overall was good, okay for the price. We have been to the Otesaga many times before, for breakfast, thanksgiving, dinners and stay at the hotel. This was a little disappointing. Things are tough these days, good luck to them.

    A perfect place to gather with our family for a post-Thanksgiving meal. We were seated in a smaller room with 4 - 6 tables which was nice. Comfortable and great service.

    The only issue we have is they change our favorite lunch meals like Chicken Pot Pie and some sandwiches like the Ruben too often. These are our favorites and they are not always on the menu. We love the hotel, the food, and Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame and of course Lake Otsego. A lovely place to visit any time of the year.

    Everything was five star and we had high expectations going in. The food was great the service was great and the overall hospitality was 5 Star. We also ate at the Hawkeye the night before. They had a jazz band that was great. I mean great, they could get a gig in the big Apple, that good. I wish the Hawkeye was an hour away I be going weekly for cocktails and great food. Unfortunately I live 170 miles away. Great time can’t go wrong.

    Probably the best food I’ve had dining out. Had the prime rib panini and husband had prime rib dinner. Just excellent. The drink specials were delicious and our waitress, Erin, was warm and attentive.

    Server Emily was great. Very sweet and did a great job. Food was AMAZING ! And we thought the bill would be at least 150 give or take. But after tip and all only 100$. That’s with appetizer, two meals, dessert, cappuccino, beer and soda. Worth the price !

    The music was loud beyond permitting conversation. We went for what we thought would be good for, not noise. My hamburger was not up to standard. I love a good burger. The roll was not unto scale, being dry and lacking in flavor. I would recommend the Hawkeye with reservations.

    We had visited the Fenimore Art Museum and made a lunch reservation for 11/4/22. It was a glorious fall day and the lunch was wonderful. Our go to place to eat when we visit Cooperstown.
