   Very nice restaurant in Lambertville. The decor is classic and well maintained. They have a nice size outdoor patio too. The restaurant was very loud, we asked to be seated in a quiet-ish area and they were able to accommodate us. The restaurant seems to specialize in large steaks but neither of us were hungry enough for that. We shared the burger which is very big and delicious! We also shared the Brussel sprouts and the sautéed spinach, both were very good. I had their specialty margarita which was good, but advertised that it had jalapeño which I could not taste. When I mentioned it to our server she offered to have it remade, instead I asked for them to add a little more of the jalapeño and she brought a little pitcher so I could adjust on my own. Perfect solution!! Service was good, and nicely paced. Seems like a good place for a date or dinner with friends.

   As always we had a delicious dinner at The Hawke in Lambertville! Sat outside it was a beautiful night and the service and food was perfect!!

   It was too loud to talk which is weird considering we were outside! Service was terrific and the food was good. Not outstanding but good. I have eaten there often and it’s always good enough to come back. Not fancy but well done. Which is saying a lot these days.

   The Hawke is noisy inside, we sat outside. It is nothing to impress a date with; the atmosphere outside, crowded and close tables. The food was good, we had sandwiches and split a salad, one bottle of sparkling water. 90.00 Not impressed.

    Great food in a nice, casual venue. Prices are a bit steep on both food and drink (glass of wine is $16) but I guess that's the way it is lately. Parking is limited but is free (street parking).
