The portions are extremely small. We have been in the past and have loved everything. Its clear that this time around was very different. $80 later, my husband and I left hungry. We will not be back nor recommending this place.

Ate at The Hatching Post for dinner with a group of 10, they accommodated us well and the meal was excellent. Everyone in our group was raving about the quality of the food afterwards. The meat sweats platter and brisket mac & cheese were highlights.

We loved the atmosphere and the food was amazing! We can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu items! The whiskey sour was a great twist on the original, you have to try it!

Foods always good we live close by come by every few month. Service was slow for a half full place. Bill with tip was almost $500 with only a few drinks and 3 adults 3 kids. Took forever service which sucks is what it is. Just wish it was better all around would go more.

Service was very slow, I asked for a glass to drink my beer, after waiting several minutes I went to get it from the bar. The waitress spent more time clearing tables than checking on us. There was no patrons waiting for the tables. I’ve been there several times and the servers could stand some more training

When booking this reservation I was asked about any special occasion, I put down there 2 birthdays being celebrated, that was not mentioned or asked about, it would have been nice that they recognized them without me having me to tell them. If it is not being recognized why ask on the reservation. Food was good and enjoyed by all. Service was lacking I felt, we didn't know who our server was, we had one take our drink and someone else take our food order. We also felt very rushed, as soon we were finished our dinner, we weren't offered desert or even a 2nd drink. They cleared the table and presented our bill right away. Our reservation was at 5 pm and we were out at 6 pm, felt very rushed and really no time to visit. We had our children visiting from out East, they were not overly impressed either and all stated that would not rush back to this restaurant and really neither are we.
