Cute Mexican restaurant in the Belltown neighborhood. Went on a Sunday night around 6pm and the restaurant was not very busy. The menu offers traditional Mexican fare with a little twist. We got a taco entree and a burrito entree, but started with an order of green chili cornbread. The cornbread was pretty good. The rest of the food was ok to good, with the Chili Colorado beef as a standout, not as much the taste but the quality. The burrito was served warm not hot as the sauce was starting to congeal. Here are some other items to note that made out experience not as enjoyable as it could have been. The restaurant temperature was very warm. While it is really nice to have a restaurant that can open up doors/windows to get the great Seattle weather into the restaurant, this was not adequate this particular evening. Seattle was experiencing warm temps and the restaurant did not pivot to shut some of their windows and kick up the A/C. We mentioned how warm it was to the server and he just mentioned that they A/C could not keep up. We mentioned that one of us had food allergies and the server said that he did as well. When we received our food, it contained the item that the person was allergic to. We did not mention this to the server as it became obvious that the restaurant does not train their staff to know what ingredients are in their foods. We did fall in love with their chili crunch oil that they had with their condiments. It was mentioned that it is house-made and we thoroughly enjoyed it so much, we actually bought a bottle. Lastly, the restaurant charges a 20% service charge on all bills in lieu of asking customers to add gratuity to the bill. While we understand this, in concept, when the server or restaurant fails to live up to expectations (or goes above expectations), the restaurant has removed a lever that the customer has to communicate their experience. In our case, we had to essentially pay a 20% tip for inaqeuate service.

Was hoping for a better experience. Food was just ok and pricy for what it was. A large group made the restaurant very loud.

We had a large group that was easily accommodated. The server was amazing and attentive. Food and drink wee very good. Will come back soon

My wife has Celiac, and Hatch comes highly recommended on find me gluten free. They are not wrong! The food was excellent, we explained she was Celiac and the waitress Lindsey immediately understood. We started with chips and dip, with queso added. Subbed gluten free chips and they were delicious. The queso was awesome, flavorful with a hint of spices. The salsas were also delicious! I got the beef in Chile Colorado, and it was awesome. The meat was tender and delicious. My wife got a happy hour special, nacho cheese dusted tacos. They were very good, and gluten free! I appreciated the thoroughness of the staff verifying that things were made safely for us. I drank a Mexican coke while my wife had a non alcoholic specialty drink. We did not have dessert, but we'll easily be back soon because of such a good experience. Thank you folks!

The food was excellent. Huge portion sizes and almost everyone took food home. My biggest complaint is the service. We were a large party, with a reservation, and the restaurant was relatively empty for lunch. We put in a drink order right away and they came relatively quick, but then we waited for over 30 minutes for someone to take our food order.

Our time at Hatch Cantina was wonderful. Our waiter, whose name I cannot remember, but I want to say Conrad, is always a treat. We will definitely be back.

Great visit to Hatch Cantina, food was lovely and great service. The atmosphere was chilled just what you needed for a Sunday brunch. Loved the make your own mimosa options with different fruit juices.

We enjoyed our experience at Hatch. The service was great and the food was fresh and delicious. Cocktails were high quality and had nice presentation.
