food was good and reasonable priced. nice ambience.
We loved The Harrow. The vibe was minimalist but warm and inviting at the same time. Quiet but not light-filled. The cocktails were spectacular. The brunch menu was standard fare, but the presentation was top notch. The service was truly exceptional: friendly and attentive but not overbearing.
Christine and the staff are amazing. And the food is incredible.
The food and service was excellent. We did, however, have to wait 20 minutes past hour reservation time to be seated.
Very good service
Amazing food and ambiance!! Wonderful drink menu, too.
Excellent food and terrific service. In general a consistently solid place to have a great meal.
Delicious brunch in a clean and sophisticated space.
Das Essen und die Cocktails / der Wein waren sehr lecker. Große Portionen und aufmerksamer Service. Sehr zu empfehlen!
Amazing food and service. My wife and I split the oysters and scallops, possibly the best scallops I’ve ever had. The Harrow burger was amazing, perfect medium rare, a top 3 burger for me in the city. If you like burgers, you gotta try it!
2 of us enjoyed sharing a quick bite (biscuits and gravy: YUM) during late brunchtime before a matinee, and i appreciated the spiciness of the bloody mary. very much enjoyed; looking forward to returning with time to spare to enjoy the atmosphere here.
Food was very good except the Duck was not cooked properly and lacked flavor. The other components on that dish were excellent however. All other dishes we ordered were excellent. Service was outstanding. Cost was average for the area.
Very good service, and great ambience. The food was a little disappointing. We had the wilted spinach salad, which could have used a lot more seasoning. The burger was overdone. The fries were amazing, as well as the lobster Mac and cheese. We would try it again as it should be a great spot and its in our neighborhood.
Great place, my only complaint was the heat wasn't working in the back room
love the food and the drinks! staff is great! never had a bad meal at the Harrow.
I got to enjoy the toughest veal chop ever, which is a cut that’s meant to be defined by its tenderness.
Lovely and conveniently located near some of the off off Broadway theatres. Unusally prepared dishes that were just delicious - they had us in and out in plenty of time, without feeling rushed. The wait staff was terrific - what a find!
Service and quality of food excellent. Wine list extensive and expensive. Portions reasonable but we overheard the waitress say to two customers " This is not Carmines" when they questioned the portions. But at least at Carmines you get bread with dinner. A little something on the table before dinner would have been appreciated. The noise level perked up in relation to the incoming crowd. As did the upbeat music . Maybe they love it at the bar but dining to it somewhat distracting from the experience.
It was my first time and I’ll definitely be returning. The staff is great and the food exceptional. The crispy pork is a must!
The wine by the glass list needs work. The cocktails are outstanding and the WBTG list doesn’t stand up to the food or diverse and interesting cocktail list. I tried 3 different wines and none of them were great representations of that varietal. Maybe a couple higher end options for snobs like me? Some of us are happy to pay more for great juice. Maybe a mention for your service team, if a guest has a legitimate issue with a dish, that everyone at the table agrees is off, it’s not necessarily a direct insult to what your team does culinarily, it just maybe that one cut of pork was off or dry or something went wrong when it was really busy. The way you handle those situations is what people will really remember and take away from that experience. That is what makes them come back and that is how you stay busy (and open, for that matter) in a city with a thousand options of great places to eat. You guys are definitely on the right track. Especially in a neighborhood of most casual spots, it’s nice to have more upscale places who can fill that void.
Double date with favorite cousins!
Great food. Interesting dishes. Good wine. We had the bacon appetizer and spinach salad which were both excellent. The duck was perfectly cooked and the burger was delicious. Found it by accident online and was happy I did.
Interesting menu but need to experiment less. Good table service, and nice ambiance.
A little attitude at the bar.
The food was dry and mediocre at best. My chicken tasted of freezer burn. The carrots were under done. We had been looking forward to eating at this restaurant for quite some time but we were both disappointed in this meal
Had to run to see a show two weeks ago after I paid for the meal, and before we received our desserts. Went back for dinner (after a show this time). I mentioned to the waitress what had happened, and she remembered me, gave us free desserts and a free special appetizer (excellent arancini) we didn't even order. The food is excellent, and the service superb.
Had the scallops with parsnip puree and spinach. Delicious!!
WOW!! First time at The Harrow and it was a pleasant surprise. Hidden Gem in the heart of Hell's Kitchen and sheltered from the TSQ crowds. Craft cocktails rival some of the best in the city! Food was fantastic! Small but impressive wine list. The ambience and service were equally great. Burger and short ribs were absolutely outstanding! If you're in the neighborhood, you must put this on your list!
One of the best meals I’ve had in years!
Very interesting menu - everything we ordered was a delight. Definitely worth a try.
Great staff. Interesting menu and cocktails.
Room is nice and service is friendly. We opted for prix fixe. Ceviche appetizer was very tasty. Branzino main was decent but not memorable. The pasta had way too much ham. Dessert was a hot chocolate chip cookie. Eh.
Wonderful experience. Stage meats and fresh vegetables had refined seasoning and the cocktails were very well made. Excellent experience. Felt like we were the only ones in the restaurant because they were so attentive. Loved it.
Pork shoulder was just outstanding.
The Harrow is our go-to restaurant in Hell's Kitchen. We love the staff, the food, the drinks (excellent beverage service!), and the general vibe. It's always a pleasure to dine there--or just to have a drink and a bite.
New Year’s Eve dinner in the quieter part of the city. Overall enjoyed. Very small restaurant. Tables are very close.
I love this place! The staff is wonderful. The manager, the wait staff and bartenders are all incredibly friendly! Great food and great service.
Awesome spot. Tony, my bartender, was a great host...made the experience really pleasant, a welcome change from a very frustrating chain of events I endured earlier that day. The food was wonderful, ambience was really nice and the noise level wasn't bad at all. Great wine selection. 10/10
A great neighborhood place for brunch. Our waitress was wonderful. The whole staff is friendly and attentive.
Look forward to trying it for dinner.
As expected a fantastic meal, with personalized service from Christy and team. Pork shoulder, scallops, burger, crab cakes, and steak...all very tasty and enjoyed by a member of my family.
