The Harrow Inn is by far the oldest pub in Wanborough, with parts dating back to 1747 when it was known as the "Harrow and Kings Head"

Here at The Harrow we are proud to have a menu in which all food is fresh and farmed locally along with everything being homemade and at reasonable prices. To go with our menu’s we have a well thought out wine list, with a wine that will suit all taste buds.

For those who would rather an Ale, we have four well kept Ales available. We are in the good beer guide.

In the Winter there are roaring log fires and in the summer there is an enclosed beer garden.

We are close to the Cotswolds and the Ridgeway so there is plenty of walking available nearby.

Find us just off junction 15 on the M4.

Friendly landlady, plenty of tasty choices on menu. We all opted for sandwiches as it was lunchtime. Large portions nicely presented. Wish we'd found it when we lived in Shrivenham!

Quite disappointed as the website menu looked good and offered interesting vegetarian choices for my other half, which was why we booked and then to turn up and the menu was rather different- his meal was very bland and mine priced in comparison to an amazing restaurant I use frequently for business and pleasure and it was nowhere near the quality the price suggests. I did mention our dissatisfaction to the barmaid/waitress and she did not charge for the vegetarian meal or our drinks, which was a nice touch but not sure if I would go again

I took parents here for a family dinner. I thought the food was ok, but for the price portions could have been larger. Atmosphere was nice, its a small pub with regulars. Was expecting more of a restaurant vibe. Price too much. Good parking. very friendly staff.

I was disappointed not to be in the restaurant? I did not expect on a Thursday evening to b sat in the bar. The restaurant was set but no one was in there? The food was ok but expensive for a bar menu. The desserts were very small portions eg the baileys cheesecake at over £7 was in my opinion just a slither, one scoop ice cream and one strawberry. I will certainly not go back our bill for 3 sat in the bar was £104!!

I enjoyed my meal but my husband was disappointed with his burger as it was dry, the wedges were earthy and bruised a couple were completely black, it came on a wooden board which was too small for the meal and it looked like it had seen better days. Our friend had Thai duck, he said it was tasteless., he he could no pick out any of the herbs, such as coriander. We all agreed that the prices were very expensive for what it was.

Lovely village pub with great atmosphere. Food was lovely and catered for kids very well.

The staff are friendly, there is a good selection of meals to chose from, for all courses. The food is very tasty and the servings generous. A loaf of the fresh bread for sale at the bar counter is a must to take away with you.
