Celebrating a birthday. Coffee was warm not hot. Food was good! Live music was nice.

4% Health & Safety Tax?! Unacceptable. I did my part in coming and patronizing their restaurant. I shouldn't be then expected to pay a premium. Spoke to the server, and the two hosts my displeasure, none of them offered to take it off. Deal breaker, won't go back.

SIDE NOTE: first review ever for any restaurant!

I treated my sister and her boyfriend out to dinner because my sister just turned 21. I chose this place because the menu had a lot of different options to choose from between seafood and chicken since she really only eats seafood/chicken. We ordered three different large plates and and two different sides. I ordered the "Pasta Rossa," my sister ordered the "Shelter Island Chicken Sandwich," and her boyfriend ordered the "Shrimp Tacos" and fries. We also ordered a side of "Roasted Brussel Sprouts."

The "Pasta Rossa" was very good and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. I got to try my sister's chicken sandwich, and I would say that this should be HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I was honestly debating whether to order one to take home. As for the Brussel sprouts, I personally don't prefer it. It was not bad at all, but it was a little too sweet for my personal taste. My sister's boyfriend said he did like them though, so it's just personal preference.

Besides the food, we also ordered 3 cocktails which were the "I Gliterally Can't", "Big Boats and I Cannot Lie," and "Oh, Ship." I had the "I Gliterally Can't" and I was expecting it to be a bit more fruity. I would drink it again if it was given to me, but I personally wouldn't order it again. I guess it's just based on preference, so I have nothing against it. Side note: We all did try a bit of each cocktail and we all agreed that the "Big Boats and I Cannot Lie" was the best tasting cocktail.

Overall, we loved the overall experience, ESPECIALLY THE FOOD (specifically the chicken sandwich and pasta rossa). I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is interested. It is on the more expensive side, but it's worth it if the food is amazing. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

The weekend brunch is worth checking out. A singer/guitarist provided background music to fantastic craft cocktails and excellent seafood.
My server was incredibly attentive and all staff members followed all COVID protocols.
I will definitely return.

Easter lunch/dinner. Most of the items on the menu were sold out. And it didn’t make for a pleasurable experience.

Waiter Joe was outstanding!! Food was ok calamari was a bit soggy. I just wish they had the rooftop open. Man even in the winter to have a limited menu and drinks up top would have been awesome!

I love the food here. I love the service here. However the place was very loud, too loud for me and my wife.

Dessert selections are currently very limited. No birthday desserts either.

Hampton Social is a great place to have a fancy dinner and take lots of pictures. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very relaxing and reminds me of an beach side view mixed with glam.

Unfortunately, the Lemon Chicken was sold out once again. This was my first time at the Skokie location, but I've also tried to order the chicken at the downtown location.

Make sure to be camera ready, and order the Smash Burger or Shrimp Tacos!

Fantastic servers!

I’ve frequented this location quite a few times but something was off this last visit. My drinks were not strong and the food was ok. It’s usually outstanding. Other than that, I love Hampton Social.

Brunch and drinks were great. Our waiter was awesome and the manager Lucas was so kind to jimmy my car open after I discovered that I had locked my keys in my car. Saved the day; we'll be back!

Not the friendliest management when we requested a heat lamp. Food was great but the music was too loud inside. In the Covid days extra restaurant noise should be kept to a minimum to keep people from having to scream at each other and potentially spreading germs further

Everything was amazing and I'm absolutely in love with this place. With most people wanting to sit outside, it would've been helpful if all of the heat lamps were working appropriately, as ours wouldn't stay on and it was getting a little chilly outside. Otherwise everything was PERFECTTTT

We have the roasted brussels sprouts as our appetizer. My friend had steak Frites which was done perfectly. I asked for my salmon to be cooked medium well and it was. Drinks were excellent.

Isaiah was awesome and helpful with the menu. There was live music that was such a pleasure to listen to and our food was timely and delicious.

Loved our server, he was so helpful and kind and recommended perfect choices for us. My boyfriend and I split a pizza and the Parmesan fries, and they were absolutely incredible. We also tried several drinks, and loved all of them. 11/10 would recommend, definitely going to come back!!

Great location and food was great. A little pricey

This was our first time dining and we loved the food! We try the calamari anywhere we go and this has got to be the best we’ve had!

We loved our experience here! I took my boyfriend here since I used to love the city location and we recently moved to the burbs. He had never been to Hampton Social in Chicago, but was wowed by the ambiance of this place. The food was excellent - I had the lobster roll (Maine style) which was delicious with fresh parsley in a sinfully good buttered brioche and he had the burger with the parmesan fries which were also excellent. Our waitress was attentive and swift. My favorite part was the small detail of the compostable straw complete with a "bee" decal on it to serve my drink "Bees are Back" - so good! It was a bit pricey but we would still return for a special occasion.

Great place for a get together. Both outside sans heaters and socially distanced indoor tables. Good assortment of food. My fav is the Smash Burger. Cocktail list a little pricey.

Sat outside on a beautiful afternoon. Joe our server was terrific. Friendly and professional. I had a salad (city salad??) with salmon done perfectly. My friend had Caesar salad also with salmon. We had ice tea. Just a very pleasant experience.
