   Found this establishment on open table and was excited to go based on the great menu they have posted and the amazing pictures of their food. Learned we’d been scammed! They only have 3 food choices, none of the beautiful dishes pictured and advertised, and not a single gluten-free dish which was a big draw for us based on their false advertising.

   Wait staff was not well trained. We got up in between the app. and the main course to use the restroom and when we returned they had already begun clearing the table. They had a special list standing between the salt and pepper shakers that was never mentioned to us. We discovered it after dinner when we were looking for dessert. By the way I would have ordered off that menu because it had the meal I was originally looking for, and my second choice was not available because they ran out over the weekend. (This was a monday Valentine's dinner) So I settled and it was not very good! I will not be returning.

   The food is well prepared and presented. Portions are generous but not overly so. Some diners may take home a portion of the entree. Cocktails are unique and come as a generous pour. Wine prices are fairly standard. Overall, I can recommend this restaurant.

   We've been here several times and always come back - the food is excellent and Chef takes great care and pride in what he puts on the plate. Service is attentive without being intrusive, staff is always pleasant, we always request seating in the bar area as it is quieter. We'll be back again and again!    We had dinner at The Hamilton for Valentine’s Day. Our waiter, Vinnie, was outstanding. He had perfect recommendations when we had questions about the menu. Our food was delicious. I had the salmon and I would definitely order it again. My husband had the rack of lamb and he enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend dining at The Hamilton.

   We were waiting for 2 hours to get food and we did not get it!!!! Hour later brought appetizers. and told us that they dint have pasta for kids. really Pasta!!!!!! the only good thing about restaurant is a good quality coloring books and crayons. Never see that one before. Hard to say if the main course was or was not delicious. Did not try it!!!!

    We ate dinner here on Thursday, January 27th. We were in the area on vacation from Texas. From reviews on the internet and recommendation from waitress at a nearby winery we visited, we chose to dine here. The restaurant was very empty. Probably due to the time of year. The restaurant was so cozy. I had the sea bass and my husband had the flank steak….both were outstanding. Service was great too, thanks to Vincent (Vinnie).

    Fantastic as always! I had the Surf and Turf (NY Strip, scallops and shrimp). The steak was cooked perfectly and the shrimp and scallops were very tasty. The service was great as always! I’ll be back again next month and can’t wait!!

    We are staying at the Camelback Resort with terrible food options so ventured the 20 minutes to The Hamilton. It is worth it. The place is adorable - a cute country restaurant. Our server was attentive, friendly, and could make recommendations. And most of all - the food was fantastic. We had a hanger steak, crab cakes, and a couple of children’s entrees. All were perfectly prepared- the care put into the food preparation was obvious. We also had the fried calamari- always a sign when a restaurant can’t get that right. The Hamilton got it right! If you’re in the Poconos and looking for a meal worth spending money on after a long day on the slopes - drive to The Hamilton. It’s worth it. You won’t leave hungry, broke, or disappointed (like many other places in/near camelback). You’ll thank me!

    Amazing as always! Baked cod stuffed with crab meat, and sausage ravioli were amazing. Chocolate soufflé also amazing! Service is always spot on! We enjoyed another evening at The Hamilton.

    This was our first expereince at The Hamilton. We were celebrating friends' 50th anniversary. Jackie was very helpful with the planning. We requested a round table which was perfect for our party of 6. The menu choices were ample. Each of us ordered something different and everyone was pleased! The Caesar salad needs some work and the servers were friendly but perhaps short staffed. But the gaps produced a leisurely dining expereince and that really worked perfectly to our needs. There was even a quick call to let us know we left a phone on the table. We shall return. And you should too!

    The best kept secret in the Poconos! This is my go to restaurant every time I'm in the area!! This past time, we were a party of 8 celebrating a friend's birthday. And, the Hamilton did not disappoint! Great food, drinks, service and a very welcoming atmosphere. Thank you Ethan and staff! I look forward to my next visit!!

    The owner/chef is a graduate of the CIA and it shows in the delicious, well-presented dinners. The Hanger Steak is my favorite.

    I made a reservation based on the online menu and ratings. Upon our arrival we were greeted immediately and seated. We waited quite a while for our waitress, but with the current climate of employee shortages it was not her fault and it didn’t take from our experience. She did a great job. When we went to order food and drinks the menu was different. There was no filet mignon. On the house menu and specials the menu many of the selections were unavailable. My guests also tried to order cocktails that they couldn’t get. The crab cakes were very good, two of us ordered the steak that replaced the filet. It was tender however it had no flavor. The bread that was served was warm and fresh. It was good. Also one of us had the lamb that was also good. It was a 50/50. Being a local business person to be fair I would give this place another try. I had taken a few investors here. It was disappointing that they could not order what they wanted. Maybe it was just not a great day.

I am happy to hear you enjoyed the crab cakes and lamb! The Piedmontese steak is generally more flavorful than a fillet. We make menu changes constantly due to supply issues and seasonal menu changes. Unfortunately our website provider does not make the changes fast enough. Going forward, we change our menu frequently and seasonally. We will continue to work diligently to keep our online menus updated.

    Food is definitely overpriced. Two star atmosphere, no ambiance, terrible food presentation. Server never gave her name and seemed to be annoyed she had to interrupt her bartending to wait tables. Only one person at the bar, by the way. Will not go back.

    Place was clean . Staff was attentive as possible I’m sure they were short handed like most places but they did a good job, had the sea bass was WATER logged and tasteless besides the pistachios that it was encrusted in, we had the tuna nachos for Appetizer that was good , my kettle one martini wasn’t kettle one. So overall was disappointed .
