We really enjoy the Hamilton. However our service when we have larger tables continues to be meh. We were 6 tonight and service was meh. Not what we expect for the Hamilton. Food was great. Drinks good. Service just wasn’t attentive.

My wife and I had a date lunch there, on Saturday's it's actually brunch! Had the best French toast of my life there. Server was courteous and attentive. Can't wait to go back.

Located across the street from the sports arena, the restaurant obviously depends on, and caters to, that sports crowd. Strong on "comfort foods", but at the expense of high-end sophisticated dining (no veal, lamb, or duck and most entrees pretty simple in preparation). I thought prices were OK, except for $22 for six smallish oysters on the half shell. There are 5 cheap white wines and 5 cheap red wines by the glass, carafe or "bottle"; but these are all poured from the wine tap - none are actually bottled. There is a separate, and complete wine list, though the mark up makes it cost prohibitive for many people. Generally, wines aren't a big deal with the sports crowd - they're into beers, and the Hamilton has an exceptional beer list. Vegetables are a la carte, but there is only one choice - carrots - which were great, but it wouldn't hurt to at least offer a green vegetable. Nice modern atmosphere, can be vibrant. Overall would be a great place for dinner after the game, but not so much for a romantic, quiet, high end experience.

Stopped at The Hamilton for dinner before a weekday evening show at the PPL Center. The Hamilton exceeded our expectations. The cheese curds were truly amazing! Steak was cooked well and very reasonably priced. The chicken pot pie was uniquely seasoned and was an enormous portion which came home with me. Carrot ravioli was unique and very delicious. The staff was super friendly and attentive. We ate early in the evening on a Wednesday so there were very few other patrons, which means the food came out quickly and the server wasn't overloaded with other customers. The ladies restroom was way to dark and would benefit from better and more suitable lighting. I would highly recommend The Hamilton. Impressed.

I don't really know where to begin. It was frightfully cold on NYE and we could not find the valet parking attendant to drop off our car. We asked the hostess who told us that we needed to go to the Renaissance Hotel to valet the car. So, we sat down and ordered our food and my husband quickly went to drop off the car. However, the Renaissance hotel would not valet park the car and told my husband to "go park the car" in a lot several blocks away from the restaurant. When my husband informed the Hamilton's hostess that they would not valet the car - she replied "yes they will." My husband, frustrated by this, returned to the table where the first course had been served and had gotten cold. There was an $85 prixe fix dinner for NYE and the waitress asked for all of our menu choices at the beginning of the meal. Well - this meant that all three courses were served to us in about 30 minutes. Our reservation was at 6:45 and all the courses were served by 7:23. I found this odd because the majority of the restaurant was empty. When we did not pay the bill in the first ten minutes of her bringing the check, she kept checking up on us and looking for the credit card. The food was too salty and the entrees were hit or miss. I was so disappointed by the whole experience and I desperately wished we had dined anywhere else on NYE. I will not be returning to the Hamilton.

Came to Hamilton for New Year's Eve with my daughters age 12 & 14. As there was a Price Fixe menu in place, my girls were allowed to split a dinner which was great. The dinner was very good and we really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, my wife and I were expecting a little 'more', especially in regards to the taste and presentation of the dinner. Although the dinner was very good, it didn't knock our socks off, and with a Price Fixe price of over $80 per person, and a final bill over $400 with tax and gratuity, we weren't blown away like we have at other upscale restaurants in the area. We'll be back to enjoy the regular menu, but not sure we'd return for another Price Fixe dinner like this.

We’ve been here twice this month. Both for special occasions. Enjoyed it so much the first time we went back for Christmas Eve. We will be regulars at The Hamilton. Great atmosphere, lively but not too loud, and great food and service.
