Food was great! Nice ambience. Highly recommend
Our Server Eric was great! Food and drinks were both delicious!
Food was not very good at all. Drink made incorrectly. Server was the best part of the experience.
Had dinner here before a show at the PPL Center. Probably one of the best burgers I’ve had locally. Great service, great food, great vibe, however very noisy when the restaurant is full so something to keep in mind if you’re looking to have a conversation. Would definitely recommend it, though!
We were celebrating our moms 85th birthday with dinner and the Michael Buble’ concert at the PPL Center across from The Hamilton… perfect location we thought but it turned out to be extremely disappointing. First off, on entering the restaurant the noise level was deafening. My mom wears hearing aids so the noise level to her was amped up even more… she ended up taking them out as the noise was unbearable… the rest of our group could barely carry on a conversation. We all ordered drinks except mom. They did arrive pretty promptly and everyone was satisfied except for my THK Old Fashion… the worst I’ve ever had and I’ve been drinking them for years.
Next up, salad… which were fine, Caesar was delicious. For the main course 3 ordered the petite filet and 1 salmon. We waited an extremely long period of time between salad and entree. The waitress seemed to avoid our table so as not to be questioned on the delay. After about 45 minutes of waiting the food finally came out… no apology for the wait. The filet was a huge disappointment… The presentation was horrible… everything was put on one side of the plate as if done on an incline, not at all attractive. The steak was disappointing as well; Tough and dry isn’t how a steak should be. The salmon was acceptable but not exceptional.
Because of the delay we had no time for dessert as we needed to get to the concert. All and all my moms birthday dinner was very disappointing and returning to The Hamilton Kitchen will be a no go.
Active, fun, and enjoyable along with excellent food and very good service.
The menu has changed and we were not impressed by the food.
The food was creative and a fun spin on some traditional items. Onion rings were massive with great season, the sour cream & chive smashed tots tasted great, and the bacon Brussels were well…they had bacon so they were wonderful! The filet was cooked perfectly and tender. All in all the food was something definitely worth trying.
As for the service, our waitress (and I wish I remembered her name as I’d give her a shout out) was politely, up beat, and very friendly. Everything you’d want in a server and what the hospitality industry needs more of! Well done and I’d highly recommend a visit to Hamilton’s as I know ill stop by again next time I’m in town!
Food was very good and our server was very attentive. I was there on a business meeting so it was a balance of attentiveness and being able to have our meeting.
Best Margherita pizza. Wings are so good and falafel is super tasty.
Outstanding brunch, lovely outdoor seating. There was live music that was a little loud so something to be aware if you're sitting outside for brunch. The chilaquiles was amazing!
Very good addition to downtown Allentown. My wife and I will go back!
Food was very good with limited menu. Seems like they want fewer choices but do them all very well.
Only drawback was the size. The place is cavernous!
Waitress was great!
First time eating at The Hamilton. Very, very clean, professional, elegant. Good food with good service. What else could you ask for?
Menu is not for picky eaters. Server was very friendly and nice but not very knowledgeable or experienced. Menu said 2oz pours, made order was asked single or double we said regular thinking a regular was 2oz as stated on menu, and we got 1oz. He just seemed very unsure and we had to wait awhile for water refill and also had to wait for drinks since he got our drinks and a table of 4's drinks and then told us he got them all at the same time as if that justified why we had to wait. $3.00 for a diet soda is outrageous.
Was pleased with the server and the quality of the food being served. The ambience was good.
We were looking for a brunch spot when driving through town, and I impulse picked The Hamilton (a few menu items looked interesting). We sat in their beautiful outdoor space, where a live band played during our meal. The staff was friendly, and the food was delicious!
We had a baby with us, and they had no problem accommodating.
We had a great evening at Hamilton Kitchen. Our waitress Ashely was attentive and provided us with good service. Old Fashioned order from the bar was on point and my wife and I both felt our dinners were delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant.
Wonderful and happy to be there again. Our server was amazing - fun, attentive, everything you want
Greeted and seated immediately, very friendly and attentive staff with great teamwork. Server was able to help me customize a cocktail to my liking and it was perfect. Appetizers and entrees were so good we didn’t have room for dessert which was sad because they all sounded amazing. Will definitely be back, hopefully on a night when it’s not 90 degrees and we can enjoying their outdoor dining.
Great venue, but middling quality food. Some of the apps were good - wings, deviled eggs
Excellent food & service. Very upscale restaurant, however where we were seated and able to look in to non dining areas peeling paint was observed in one side room area and in another side room area stacks of plastic rack observed which should have been secured in another area and with walls repainted in the other side room.
Meals were quite good, menu was diverse, but a touch boring. Strawberry shortcake was strange.
That porkchop was fantastic! Wife ended up stealing about a fourth of it. I'll try to recreate it at home.
Good food, good drink, good music. GOOD NIGHT!! Thank you.
We were there for a Blues night that happens every first Friday. The music was great and the food outstanding.
Our server Eric was wonderful. Thank you! The food is delicious, the wings are a must. The salmon could have used less peas but still really great.
Wonderful meal—delicious food, nice ambience and excellent service.
Really enjoyed our meal. The corn chowder was delicious, as was the pork chop and petite filet. Loved the ambiance. If we were locals we would definitely be back often.
Service bad but very good food and atmosphere for a date
Happy Hour: great drinks and bites, lovely place to eat inside or out, luxury restroom, charming wait staff. Will return!
Great place. Definitely a place to go after work. Decorations were great.
Our server was outstanding. The food was excellent. The only complaint is that our second Bloody Mary was literally tomato water with olives. It seemed like someone forgot the mix. As we were in a hurry to get to our son's graduation, we did not say anything at the time (which generally, I would do).
Happy to have a brunch option for sure. Glad they brought it back.
Want a great spot and the food is amazing !
We booked a late dinner after graduation and the staff was friendly and efficient! Food was delicious and the cuisine was creative.
My wife and I have been to the Hamilton a few times over the years and it’s always been a good experience. This time was no exception! The food was fantastic, the service was great, the drinks were wonderful. All in all, we had a lovely anniversary dinner! Standouts being the Espresso Martini, Black Cherry Manhattan, and the Cider Brined Porkchop!
Excellent all the way around.
We ate in the bar at a window table to hear the band playing outside, great ambiance & staff were all real nice, we loved it, a great night out!
Service was outstanding. Food was.. ok. Had the falafel which wasn't what you typically expect with the hard, grainy outside.. was more like a fried hand patty and still good. Husband ordered "crispy skin salmon " which for some crazy reason, they served skin side down on top of mashed potatoes.. so yeah, soggy skin salmon not as good. I had Nashville hot chicken. Was supposed to come with honey aoili but tasted like lemon.. not sure I got right sauce. Again, it was alright. Nothing great
We came to this restaurant as part of a bourbon and blues kick off event. The food was great but we were not provided with the bourbon and blues menu for the event in which we were attending. Upon leaving we discovered many other tables were provided with those menus and we were not. The food was amazing the music was amazing. But then our waitress ended her shift or left somewhere and never insured that our check was cleared out and we were sitting around waiting for her to come back. We ended up needing to take our own check into the bar area to get a paid prior to our departure. But food was great the musician was great
