About
The restaurant’s clubby decor will feature photographs and memorabilia from North Texas luminaries and other residents who once excelled on the playing field and who now serve as leaders in business, law, medicine, community service and so on.
The food was delicious, my steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection. On Sundays wine is half price by the glass which made the experience even better.
The service was great Chandra did a fabulous Job taking care of us.
I will definitely be back.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. We went at 1:30 on Sunday afternoon and it was not crowded at that time, though people kept coming. The service was really excellent—very attentive but not intrusive. They still had the brunch/lunch menu though we were offered the dinner menu if needed. I loved the veggie burger and the others in our party enjoyed their omelet, sandwich, and salad. We also appreciated that we were not rushed as we were visiting with family passing through town. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Just had my son's birthday at The Hall Bar. Fantastic! I would recommend the french onion soup, the onion rings and the prime rib sandwich. Our server, I think her name was Dee, was fantastic. Attentive yet not annoying. Perfect place for great food, great drinks and good ambiance!
Good food, good service, nice place for a quiet quality meal.
Steak was over cooked and then the plate was so overly heated my wagyu steak was well done before I could cut into it- awful.
Wine was good
Our server was wonderful. She carried herself with class and was very knowledgeable of the menu. We went for Valentines Day and had a great time.
We were seated and. I had to ask the hostess if we were going to have a server. The server was good but I should have never had to ask. The food came out cold the asparagus especially. My steak was undercooked. Oh well we tried.
Service is amazing!! Food is so good!! Love going to this restaurant.
I was not crazy about the chicken sandwich, bread was really hard and it had thick slices of tomato, not enough sauce, this was overpriced and it didn't even come with a side. Not a good place to go back to for lunch.
First time there. Food was great and my steak was cooked perfect
Celebrated my wife's birthday and she really enjoyed it
Overall it was very good and we will be back. However, we sent a few dishes back. One steak and the crem brulee. But once corrected it was great.
Our first experience here, it won't be the last.
The service was terrific. Our server (I wish I had caught her name) was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable and helpful, and she managed the flow of our meal beautifully. Nothing came to table before it should while there were no awkward delays.
The food (we both had steaks) was simply prepared and presented, yet wonderfully flavorful and delicious. Our steaks were exactly as we ordered and were much enjoyed.
It was a delightful dinner, we hope to do it again soon.
Experience was great. Great servers!
Buen servicio en un buen local pero con comida de poca calidad y mal cocinada
This was our second visit. Same great experience as the last time. I tried the ribeye this trip, house salad (big enough for two people). The onion soup....amazing. Get the toasted bread on the side. The French dip was a big hit as well. My standard for this sandwich is Houston’s, and this version is a close second.
Our server was not having her best night. Seemed bored and unhappy and unfortunately, it carried over to our experience.
This restaurant is on the pricey side, but it's so worth the splurge for a special occasion or formal date night. The food is always amazing (my personal favorite is the salmon) and they have a great selection of wine. The atmosphere is nice and not too loud, and the service is always very friendly and attentive. It's one of our favorite restaurants.
This is my go to place for steak in Dallas! I’ve been here many times and enjoy myself each time.
We ate here for the first time on Christmas Eve (2019). Wow. We will be back. Our salads were fresh, ample, and had the most amazing dressing. The artichoke dip! I have never had it made this way. It came out nice and hot, and on the top were cheeses that you stir into the dip to make it complete. Genius! Also very fresh. Good tortilla chips, too. I had an old fashioned to start (happy hour price otherwise too expensive). Steaks were cooked and seasoned perfectly, accompanied by a couple of pieces of spiced corn cob. Delicious. Wine was good but a tad pricey. The large baked potato was good and they came by with a tray of accompaniments—-chives, bacon, sour cream—-which they put on the potato at the table. I prefer to dress my own but it was a nice touch. I think the potato alone was $7, which raised an eyebrow. I can get a whole 5 lb bag of good russets on a good day for about $1.50. Overall it was very good. We will return. Maybe the prime rib, prime rib sandwich or a cheeseburger next time.
Didn’t like sitting by the door, it was very cold when it opened. Really would have liked some bread. This was our second time there and we had made a comment to the owner about how a bread option would be nice. Guess he didn’t care. Felt our server could have been a little more attentive she seemed aloof. Food and wine were amazing.
Awesome atmosphere, service, and food!! As always :)
Nice dinner with grandchildren
Service was very slow
Charged for drinks that weren’t drinkable even after waitress asked if replacement drink “was better”. Steak was good but not cooked to requested temperature.
The service was friendly and attentive, the food came out quick and was delicious, and the drinks were unique, varied, and tasty. We went at brunch but it's a great place for brunch, lunch, or dinner. Omelet florentine, tomato soup, brussels sprouts and pimento grilled cheese were all favorites of our group.
Food was good as always!
It was great!
We went for brunch, but the brunch menu was practically non-existent. Hubby got extremely soupy oatmeal and a crazy expensive single crab cake. I ended up with a salad and french onion soup. Both were very tasty and service was outstanding but $63 for brunch could be better spent somewhere with a true brunch menu. I'd give it another try for dinner, but cannot recommend it for brunch.
We were pleasantly surprised. Teresa was fantastic. The fool was delicious and service was quick.
What a great bar display of all of their various products. Food was good as well.
Rosa is the best and our food and service was excellent. Always a trusted source for business meals.
Victoria was fantastic
The restaurant was not open when we arrived.
Our waitress appeared to be distracted. My shrimp was under cooked. The food was overpriced for the quality served.
Great, as always!
Food and service was great. Disappointed that a cocktail that was poorly made was not taken off the bill.
Very nice server, very efficient. Food was excellent
We went for brunch on Sunday. It was not crowded and we were seated immediately. Portion sizes were smaller than expected. The food was decent, but not overly exciting. I had the steak and eggs plate.
Best steak in the area!
We felt rushed, and they were certainly not busy. It was only 6:00.
