The Hall is an unusual restaurant. I'm not sure that I got the theme. There were mainly pictures of football players around the restaurant, and the waitress said that if we invited a well know football player to the restaurant that they would put their picture up. Go figure. As far as the food, this is mostly a steak place, and the steaks are very good and reasonably priced. We had the 10oz Wagu Sirloin and the Prime Rib, both were tremendous. Salads were good, and reasonably priced. I had the Caesar. All sides are a la carte, and this is were the meal did not meet expectations. We ordered the buttered egg noodles, which were 4 inches wide, heavy, doughy and tasteless. Also the Seattle potatoes, which were small potatoes cooked in butter, were nothing special. Lastly, the sautéed spinach was just average. All in all this was a fairly good meal, and I will probably come back. I will order different sides (they have mashed and baked potatoes) and clearly avoid the buttered noodles.
Steaks were cooked perfectly per our order and service was very friendly.
Nice steak, cooked to order, with great flavor
As always, the food was exceptional. Service, however, was another story. I wish I caught her name so as to ask for anyone other than her next time. The waitress just seemed uninterested.
Went for late lunch on a Sunday. Not bad but nothing special. Waitress wasn't very interested in us. Steak was over cooked. I'd go back but won't make any special effort.
Hall & Co is amazing! Think high end steakhouse with a more laid back atmosphere. Excellent food, excellent service!
Onion rings bready and cold
Tomato soup cold
Pimento sandwich salty And greasy
Most of the prime rib was spit out on my plate it was so Grisly
Creamed spinach a greasy mess
We had heard greatness about this restaurant.
It was a disaster
Went on Saturday night with family;- seated promptly, Slow Service - Not waitress fault, (Waitress had more tables than could handle) Noise level LOUD
The food was good but the service was lacking. Our waitress was intrusive, spilled the expensive wine and did not offer to replace.
Manager was the worst
Food was amazing! Service was very attentive.
Best prime rib in town!! I ordered the special for Valentine’s which was flounder with capers and champagne sauce. It was tasteless and very salty!! Couldn’t eat it and sent back for a small filet cooked medium. It was sent out butterflied and cooked done and tough. I gave up. Everyone else enjoyed their prime rib. Next time I’ll go back to that!! All veggies were great! Our server, Rosa, was a hoot and very nice and accommodating!!
Great as always.
We enjoyed our experience at the Hall Bar & Grill. The food was good! Victoria'a service was even better. We will return!
Meeting relations for first time in approximately 20 years!
my steak was overcooked; I asked for medium well and it was well done. the lunch entree includes a petite salad and the server said I could pick any salad and I chose the blue cheese wedge salad and there was an additional $2.00 upcharge that she failed to mention to me. Would have prefer to know up front that way I could make the decision of upgrading my salad or sticking with the only 2 choices offered at lunch with the entree. also, the restaurant was freezing inside even though after numerous times me mentioning that it was very cold inside; they had the AC on when it was 39 degrees outside.
Friendly staff, great food and craft cocktails. The wine list by the glass could stand some improvement however. I had an excellent prime filet cooked to perfection.
Excellent food location and service!
Was in Dallas for business, and had a recommendation to try The Hall Bar & Grill. It was a very cold, quiet night. But the atmosphere was fun and relaxed, there was a pretty extensive selection of spirits behind the bar, and the menu options looked great and prices very reasonable for steak. We shared a couple of apps, we all got steak (I think the majority Filet) and shared a few sides. Plenty of food, and it was amazing!! We all agreed it was one of the best steaks we'd ever had. I actually wished I had gotten the 9 oz instead of the 6 oz Filet. It was cooked to perfection and just melted in my mouth! Would definitely come back the next time I'm in town.
The music was very odd for the nice restaurant. They where playing 80s rock was very outa place .
Outstanding service and excellent food. Very knowledgeable server.
The food is always incredible! French onion soup and Prime Rib Sandwich were a 10! There is something on the menu for everyone...lots of options.
My wife and I go here quite a bit and we love the steaks! The service is great and we always enjoy our date night. It is close to home for us, so it is a good go-to restaurant. The steaks are wonderful and flavorful!!
Food was good. Our table was next to the bar and the bar was packed, so we had butts next to our heads the first half of the meal. Waiter was good, but we had our food by the time we received our first cocktail. I realIze the bar issue was not her fault, but it’s still part of the service and the reason for 3 stars.
I love the relaxed feel of this place, it was nice to be able to carry on a conversation, over dinner. We really liked the Bibb lettuce salad. Mike our waiter was always on point and our steaks had a wonderful flavor. This place has a great bar as well. Can't wait to go back.
It was very loud. The restaurant was cold. Very limited choices on the menu. We were disappointed.
First time at The Hall and we really enjoyed it. The good was great and the service was great. Highly recommend!
This was our first to dine at The Hall. We decided to take a chance. Michael was our waiter. He was awesome. We couldn’t have asked for a better dinner. The steaks were amazing!!! We know steak and these steaks can hang with any steaks in DFW and beat all the rest.
We will be back. There is no doubt!!
This one of my most favorite restaurants in Dallas area. The bar is fantastic and lots of tables to sit down for lunch or dinner if you want! Incredible steaks and wonderful food. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a great atmosphere and super food.
My wife and I found this restaurant on open table and were not disappointed, there are many choices for steakhouses in Dallas is this one is top on our list. Great service for an excellent price. It is one of the best steaks we've ever had. Service excellent, and the vibe was perfect.
This is one of our very favorite steak places. It is one of the best in Dallas. The prices are all very reasonable.
Steaks are excellent, and fairly priced for prime beef. The prime rib is also a favorite. The wife had fish, which was excellent. We like everything about the restaurant, and recommend it highly.
My crabcake not so great....almost too flat and no flaky crab. My friend's salad - was drenched in balsamic vinegar not dressing but vinegar - had to send back. The brussel sprouts were drenched in balsamic vinegar....
Maybe a little less balsamic vinegar!
The fried shrimp and steak were excellent.
Fun, nice place - will go back.
Great food.Every time.we’ve been several times and will return.
Absolutely love The Hall. It is a must stop when I am visiting Dallas. I had a group of 8 people who all ordered steak. I ordered my favorite shrimp scampi. Every steak eater said they would order the shrimp the next time - they all loved it. Of course they loved their steak too, however the shrimp is that delicious. I have never had a shrimp dish this good. You cannot go wrong with anything on their menu.
I made a reservation for 3. Our group turned into 8. They accommodated our change without any issues. Highly recommend this place to everyone!
My son and I were in town for the game, found this place from Google. Had great prime rib. Also had a very large wine and liquor selection. All around great steak house
I eat here quite often and it is consistent in excellent service and friendly atmosphere. It doesn't hurt that the food is exceptional. It's a place to impress and a place that is comfortable like home. I walk in and everyone knows my name (it's not NORM)!
Can't say enough good things about this restaurant, the management, the staff and the location at Trinity Groves. You will NOT be disappointed.
Always great. Steaks are as good as you can get anywhere, always cooked perfect. Rosa is one of the best, most personable waitress in Dallas. Location is great, ample parking.
Without a doubt the best steak (filet) west of the Trinity, also the best martini and very good wine list. Get the mushrooms with your steak, they are without peer. We always order no salt, as they have a bit of a heavy hand, and for the quality of wines they offer they really need a cellar. The wait staff is stellar so the service is wonderful, our favorite is Kristen who always remembers us and takes very good care of us. V
