   My fiancé and our two families visited the Hadley for a birthday dinner. The restaurant, particularly the outdoor area was pleasant esthetically, but the food was extremely disappointing, and while the waitress was nice, the service was sub par. We ordered several appetizers and main dishes and they had to return a couple of times to tell us that they were out of the calamari, one of the pasta dishes, and another appetizer. Then, when the nachos came out, they had forgotten the steak on them. They did allow us to eat the fist nachos and brought us a free replacement, which was courteous, but the nachos were soggy. The food, in general was very overpriced and not flavorful or well presented. They forgot to bring our share plates, and the salad we ordered came out at the end after everyone had finished their meals. I would not recommend this restaurant at all unless you just want to come here for drinks and a pleasant ambiance.

   I think they were short of staff we waited for 10 minutes before a waiter got to us then we waited close to an hour for our food and we got breakfast

   I wanted to like this place. They had good music / a DJ which is nice for a Saturday brunch. But the service was awful and everyone was so rude. I called ahead saying I would be a few minutes late looking for parking and they were not polite on the phone. There was also a time limit on the table which makes sense, but with how slow the service was, for it to take 1 hour to receive your food basically felt like you had to rush before that 90 minutes was up. I witnessed multiple guests also unhappy with this and the employees did not handle any of it professionally - there was eye rolling, attitude, and just an overall lack of professionalism. This place needs to do better.

   We were there for Mother’s Day. It was too loud since there was a dJ inside the restaurant. The brunch menu is extremely limited. Was very disappointed as I was not aware of the dj or the abbreviated menu. The meal was blah and not even what was advertised. I had a turkey bacon blt which was average and fries which were supposed to be some sort of Cajun truffle but they were just plain mushy fries. Overall, a poor experience. However, the decor of the restaurant is nice.

   First off let me start with the positives, the food was very good. We all enjoyed our meals. However that was really the only positive. This is probably the worst service I have probably ever had. It started off when we ordered the pinot noir and received pinot Grigio instead. I can say I can see this mistake could be made. After they corrected it, they came back and told us they didn’t have any pinot noir and offered us a Cab. It isn’t what we wanted but we took it. When we ordered cocktails we would typically have to ask multiple times for them. As the food came out, it was highlight. We all enjoyed our dinner and very much ready for after dinner drinks and desserts. As we where all about to order and all thinking about enjoying something sweet after dinner, we waited for a long period of time. After finally running down the waiter, I said can we please see the dessert menu and we would like to order some after drink cocktails. At this time he informed our table “I am sorry the kitchen is closed”! What?! No warning nothing. It was as if the place hated money which we were ready to spend. Then after telling us that and as the bar kept making drinks for the bar patrons we sat there for almost 30 min. Till we could get our check. Important note. The close at 10 and it was only 9:30 when they told us the kitchen was closed. This place was awful and needs to work a lot on customer service!

   The food and our waiter was great. They played vulgar rap music (my mother was visiting from out of state) and it was played at a volume where we had to yell. In addition, there was a wait staff member skateboarding through the lobby (twice) before we brought it to the managers attention (keep in mind the bill was $200). When my mother tried to get the manager the waiters talked back defending the recreational behavior of the skate boarder. All this to say, I will not be returning.

    Great experience. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. Our server, Jason, was phenomenal. I suggest the weekend brunch for a lively and entertaining time.

    The meals my friend and I had were very good. We both agreed for the prices of original meals (not the usual chain fare), the prices were hard to beat. The dessert was also excellent and big enough to share. Again, the price was very reasonable. We went because we were at the Franklin Institute for the Harry Potter exhibit (we do not give it as high a rating) but plan to go back just because we enjoyed it so much, even though we live in South Jersey .

    No one was a the host/ess stand, the bathroom was out of paper towels, I had to go grab a pitcher to refill our water, our drinks took more than 20 more n, our salad arrived with our entrees and had to go looking for our waiter to get the check. Terrible!

    Probably won’t return. We had reservations for dinner, but were seated in the noisy bar area near service entrance. Service was slow and inattentive. Server never took back our menus, long wait for drinks, a dinner was served missing main seafood ingredient. It was early but the bathrooms were a mess. Waiter asked us if we were ready for check, we had to ask about coffee/dessert. “Business Smart” dress code provided was misleading, we could have come in street clothes looking at other patrons. Decor was nice and food was good - but given the service and atmosphere, wouldn’t have warranted automatic 20% tip for large party.

    We went to the Hadley to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The restaurant is adorable and the valet parking was free. Upon being seated, it took 20+ minutes for anyone to approach our table. When someone finally did, it took an additional 10 minutes to get us water. The restaurant was not particularly busy. Our server disappeared so many times, we had to ask other servers for assistance. The food was good, the DJ was great, but the service needs improvement.

    Service was amazing - both the hostess and our waiter were lovely. Drinks and food were good, but food portions small. We went for brunch and the avacado toast was just one piece of bread. Inside was nothing special but might go back to sit outside on the patio.

    My family and I had a great time for my birthday brunch! The atmosphere was amazing from the food, to our server Henry, to the DJ! We had an amazing time and I will definitely be back. It was a birthday to remember.

    Went for my husbands 30th birthday. The wait staff forgot an appetizer and look 45 Minutes from the time out appetizers came To place our main course. We had guests leave before dessert could be ordered. We would have ordered more drinks but they never came back for a drink order. The staff was kind just very overwhelmed I believe.

    Went for Valentine’s Day on Saturday night. Even though they were busy you can tell everyone was working hard. The food came out perfect, staff were all friendly, drinks were good and the ambiance was wonderful. I was sitting right next to the kitchen and seeing all the work and stress that was put in to make sure everything came out perfect was eye opening

    We went there for Vday dinner. Food was excellent and our waiter was very personable. When walking in we were greeted with a very engaging check-in person. We were seated promptly and always asked how everything was. We would definitely recommend this place and visit again.

    Upon entering the bar and lounge was the first thing we noticed. We got sat at a small table for 2 right by the kitchen, so it was loud but not uncomfortable for us. The server was really nice but he was so busy, so it took some time. We didn’t order drinks but we enjoyed the filtered iced water. The bread came out and it was deliciously so fresh and soft that we wanted more. It was hard to get more bread because our server was so busy. I order the filet mignon, and my date order the spare ribs. Both very flavorful, savory and delicious. We got so full that we didn’t have room for dessert. Our experience at the Hadley was good.
