Absolutely lovely outdoor ambiance. Our food was good -- perhaps a tad overpriced. A great spot to go if you want to have a long, lingering dinner catching up with friends.
The wait was really long for us to get served but the bartender came out to serve and take care of us. Which was nice of him to do because he saw how long we were waiting.
One of our favorite spots . Food is excellent. Staff could not be friendlier.
Very good spot took my bestfriend for her bday we were 15 min late to our reservation but the staff was so nice. They accommodated us at such short notice , it’s very elegant and classy definitely give them 5 stars. Bartender Mark and Server Tyler very attentive
Great place for special occasions. We were here for a birthday.
My waiter was beyond attentive and professional! He made sure that we were always greeted warmly and made the night light and inviting
Really good cocktail list and their outdoor patio space is nice. Food is only okay and fairly overpriced for the quality.
So bad. It took an hour to take our order and then never got our drinks. Bottomless mimosas are not worth it if you only get one mimosa.
Food was great! Service very amicable and capable of the job.
Our waiter Tyler was amazing. Was on top of everything. Went to the Hadley for my son’s bday and had a GREAT time
Beautiful OUTSIDE & INSIDE the restaurant. However, the ladies room needed to be attended to. It was not very clean with toilet tissue all over the floor in most of the stalls. It could smell better also.
Always love the ambiance of The Hadley. Great place for a business meeting.
The server we had was very annoying and unprofessional. He never provided his name, offered drinks besides the $45 bottomless Mimosa package. He spoke more about himself being a Psychology intern and how is studies people. Well if you did that you wouldn't speak as much and you would want to listen to your guest. He took it upon himself to split our order of potatoes to put on our plate instead of asking us. Little simple things he could have done, and not complain about he was at the restaurant until 3AM the night before and had to come back to work.
Review your menu. There are some grammatical mistakes on it. ex: you can have cheese or vegetable with your omelet, but for $1 more you don't get vegetables, you can get another vegetable.
Just the small things that are important. The jazz was a nice feature.
Great food, atmosphere, service, and reasonable price. 👌
This was my second time at the Hadley. The ambiance and aesthetic are beautiful! Food and drinks were blander than what I can recall from my first experience. Nonetheless, would definitely revisit for happy hour!
Lovely atmosphere and great service.
This setting is beautiful - inside and outside on the patio. The servers are professional and courteous. Food is excellent altho some may find it a bit expensive.
Everything we ordered from the brunch menu here was excellent down to the most basic items like coffee and fries. Great atmosphere and decor. Walking distance from Parkway museums where there are few options. Very obviously shorthanded on staff this weekend, but worth the wait!
I was torn between two and three stars here, so don’t let the two star rating totally fool you.
The food was, for the most part, very good.
However, I was perturbed by the absence of simple things.
They didn’t have Iced Tea. That’s a standard beverage anywhere and they couldn’t provide it because of an issue with their dispenser. Vexing to some extent, but not the end of the world I suppose.
They also couldn’t furnish my wife’s requested entree. She wanted their Cauliflower Parmesan. Now I understand that sometimes restaurants run out of entrees towards the end of the night based on unexpected demand…
But this was at just shy of 5 PM in a fairly empty restaurant.
The food that we did get was pretty good, the pita in the spinach dip was a standout though the dip itself was just ok.
The filet was delicious and my wife enjoyed her tuna.
Seeing the other reviews I expected to walk in here and be blown away, that wasn’t the case.
I will say that our server, I believe his name was Tyler was excellent.
This is not a place I’d say stay away from, but surely don’t rush out to visit.
When I drop nearly $150 on a meal for two people, I expect a better experience.
Nice spot! They could focus more on the outdoor vibe. Seemed disconnected from the restaurant. Also, make a note who where to park. The restaurant is not well lit at night.
Food was great! Nice drink selection!
Delicious brunch mimosa’s! I had the hangover sandwich with a side of French fries. The sandwich had a lot going on, the mushrooms should have been cut smaller and my sandwich was missing bacon even though it was supposed to be on it. Other than that staff was super friendly and helpful!
Food was good. Filet was meh. Service was decent. Worth going once
The short ribs and fried pickles were amazing
Father’s Day lunch with my daughter. It was a last minute reservation situation and based on the reviews sounded like a great place. Most of the food was good. The Pink Lady Apple salad was delicious and the hand breaded fried pickles were excellent. The Big BLT sandwich was not big but the bacon was tasty. The Marghertia pizza was just a cheese pizza with some basil flecks. Our server was very good but the food took a long time. And the restaurant was not that busy (30% capacity, maybe.) Lastly the location is unique. It’s attached to a huge condo complex. Unless you live there, street parking is the only option. If you lived in one of the condos, I’m sure the location is perfect.
Pricey but good
A lot of great options for vegetarians
Went to The Hadley midweek shortly after they opened and ate on the patio. It was so early that no one else was dining (introverts’ dream!) but the fare was delicious!! Had a blueberry mojito that was superb I can definitely see myself going back
Beautiful place. Food was great! Bartender was great. Great place to try out in Philly.
The food was amazing!!! Brunch seems to be a very popular time.
This was our first time there and definitely WON’T be our last. The atmosphere was just what we was looking for and all the staff from the front door attendant to the waiter was awesome. And needless to say the food was something to write home to momma if you know what good food is all about. This restaurant is a must go to!!!!
Me and my husband find different restaurants we’ve never been to and have date nights...I’m vegetarian but he’s not. They have a variety of vegetarian options and non vegetarian so we were happy! The Mac and cheese was delicious ❤️
Our reservation was for 6;30.. we paid our check at 9:45..
the food was mediocre & it took hours to get served.. the outdoor setting was quite nice & only one other table of diners.. they need to get their act together to survive.. the interior of the restaurant is very hip & well designed..
Had a great time at The Hadley! Food and drinks were very good.
Beautiful environment, fantastic meal and great staff. The food was delicious and we especially loved the team approach to service. Looking forward to going back.
Food was amazing. Got 6 drinks between two people wrong and a dj was blasting music in the middle of dinner service. Weird vibe.
Went to The Hadley for Happy Hour with my friends. When we arrived we were immediately greeted and sat per our reservation. A server came and brought us water. Shortly after another came to take our order. As it being our 1st time there we had questions about the menu. The server made a snide comment about what was taking so long. After we gave our drink and appetizer order. It took quite some time for our food to come. We had to wave down another server who brought our appetizers out as he went to six different tables with our food before we could get his attention to tell him that was our order. After that no one came back to our table to ask if we needed anything, refill on drinks, more water, nothing. I asked the bus staff to get our server because we wanted to order more drinks. The drinks we asked for went to another table. The bus staff returned to check in about whether our server returned. I told him no one had come over and asked to speak with a manager after waiting for almost an hour with no follow-up from the server. The manager came out and checked in with another table and never came to our table. I had to go inside (as we were seated on the patio) and track down the manager to make my grievances known. He apologized but we continued to get subpar service the rest of the evening. It seemed like blatant racism as we were one of few tables with guests of color. We were put in a corner and completely ignored. We left so discouraged and disappointed because we had heard good things about this place and the aestethic was so pleasing. The food was pretty good and the dj was fun but the service and the management ruined the entire experience.
The food was not good at all. The music was to loud.
The service was not good. We had a reservation and stood there for a while other people that came after us got seated. I even put special instructions in my reservation for outdoor dining. We were seated about 20 minutes after our reservation time.
Service was good once we received it but then died off. We waited at least 45 minutes before our appetizers came. And the waitress only came back once during our entire service.
The food was good the atmosphere was great but the service wasn’t what we expected for the place where the price.
Open Table lets you reserve a table before 12 on weekends, however they are not open until 12 on Saturdays and Sundays
Excellent food, professional staff and a very cool atmosphere. I highly recommend this spot! Brunch is great on Sunday too!
