We have been to this restaurant 3x because we really like the menu. The food is great and the vibe of the place is super cute. However, 2 out of the 3 times we dined there, the server didn't wear a mask or wore the mask with her nose exposed. It is totally unacceptable and very surprising that it's happened 2x already.
This past visit, our server never, not once, checked on our table. She took our order and never came back. We finally asked for the check after waiting 15 minutes after we were done eating. We jokingly said to to our server "we never got our food" to see if she realized how much she neglected us.
The owner seems very involved and he did visit our table. The food is excellent and a very cute restaurant.
Food is great and the owner is present at the restaurant for that personal touch.
The Guest Miami is wonderful! If you love lean short rib that melts like butter with NO FATTY EXCESS this is the place to dine.
This restaurant is doing a nice job dealing with the challenges of a pandemic. That being said, they need to improve the fans so that we all can be as comfortable as possible. 90 and humid outside and it was not comfortable without a fan blowing directly on you. The food was tasty. The service was very friendly and they were on top of everything. Very attentive. I would recommend it. If you are hot like me, bring your own fan as others did.
Very nice staff, wait time was normal and the food was rather good.
Excellent food. Bartender was a bit light-handed (cocktails could have been better). Owner chatted with us on the patio. Overall fantastic, and will definitely be back. Might just skip the cocktails next time, or hope for a different bartended to see if that matters.
I love the Guest! It’s such a cute restaurant tucked away, a real hidden Gem. One thing I did notice was that they changed their menu, and it seems like the chef too. Some dishes I ordered such as the cauliflower was not nearly as good as it was before, which was disappointing. Still a great spot and will definitely be back, but may need more guidance from the waiter/ waitress on what the best new items are.
Do not waste your money and/or patience here. Food takes forever, and its not great. Service is nice but sloooooowwww. We had appetizers and left to have dinner elsewhere. Lesson learned.
I love the food
My friend and I both agreed that this restaurant was a great choice! The food was delicious. We had the ricotta with figs, shrimp in garlic butter sauce with capers, broccoli with almonds and a balsamic drizzle, and gnocchi with pesto. He had the rose, which he really enjoyed and I had a new drink on the menu called “kiss the guest”. They have outdoor seating, which is sheltered, and they had a guitarist playing live music. It was a very enjoyable evening!!
This was our second time dining outside at The Guest this month. Everything we’ve had was excellent: churrasco, branzino, octopus and short ribs and calamari appetizer. The octopus and calamari were each the most tender we’ve ever had.
Great flavorful food hidden on 163rd! I definitely will be returning within the month!!
Great food and service
We loved it!
It's a great new find! Super cute atmosphere. Fantastic options on the menu. Food was good. The service is a bit slow. And our server did NOT wear a mask which was disappointing.
Food is always great there. Some unique dishes that are exceptional. Beets salad, Octopus and Duck Confit are a few of my favorites. Also have great cocktails and wine selections.
Tracey is always fantastic serving
This restaurant will be great. They’re only in their soft opening stage. But great things to come! The wine selection and the food was amazing.
The guest is a hidden gem! The food is so fresh and well cooked it tastes like you’re eating at home. The service Is phenomenal, the entire staff is so nice and constantly checking in. Tracy was our server and she was so sweet and made great recommendations. Our favorites were the Barata Salad Tuna Tartar and the cake of the day. Would definitely recommended for date night or really any occasion. Great food, great service, chic atmosphere!
The food was above average, and the wine was marked up 3x the price you would find in stores (they charged $48 for a wine that costs $16 in store). The music was also a tad too loud. However, the ambiance was great and service was also good. Overall had a good time but the value was poor.
Great new spot, nice wine list, friendly service, good menu, delicious food. Fun atmosphere. Will go back again!
Hello Miami Foodie Maven, Thank you for dining with us and giving us a 5 star for food and service. Can I ask you why you gave us only 2 stars for ambience? Thank you, The Guest.
Love this place! Especially during Wednesdays and Sundays, as they have a live music band performing there. Must try: tuna tartare, mussels, burrata, flatbread, clams, ribeye steak, in-house bread, duck ravioli and meatballs. Its outstanding!
My new favorite restaurant in the Miami area! Everything we tried was delicious. Well thought out menu with fresh and delicious choices and something for everyone. Ambiance is light and bright and staff are great. Looking forward to our next visit. Give it a try, I promise you will not be disappointed.
Amazing experience. The owners were fantastic, the food delicious, and great atmosphere.
Excelente atención de mi mesera Tracy y de la dueña (no registré su nombre)
This is a wonderful new restaurant in then north Miami area serving great Tapas including very unique dishes to the area. I highly recommend the Octopus, Duck and several other dishes everything is very good, fresh and many served with a bit of a twist to whats is common in local restaurants They have a good wine selection and the Owners are always busy on the floor ensuring everyone's satisfaction Tracy is amazing serving your needs with great flair and a huge smile. They absolutely cover you up with amazing service
This place has opened about a week ago and we were eager to try it.
I would give it 5 stars as everything I tasted was delicious. Tuna tartar is very fresh and tasty, whole fish was really good, polenta with mushrooms and chocolate bomb desert are my favorites.
We wine list is extensive and selections are great. I will be back for sure.
Thank you. We are happy you have a good time.
I have dined here with my wife last week and we enjoyed our meal very much. We had burrata salad, Brussels sprouts and meatballs for appetizers. For the main course we shared a 48oz stake. It was very juicy and delicious.
We shared a vegan avocado lime desert and it was amazing.
Drinks were great. Service was good. 5 star over all. We will be back as we leave 5 min away.
Thank you Edward.
I came to the guest for a dinner date with my friend and the service was incredible. We had ordered a tuna tartare and the beet salad it was lovely the flavors were very exquisite. The ambience was amazing and the candlelight was very romantic. I highly recommend checking this place out, it’s a great place for a dinner date, dinner with friends and celebrations. All the staff are very welcoming and I sure do feel like a friend after leaving!
Definitely five stars!
Thank you for your review. We are happy you have enjoyed your dinner.
My experience was great. I came to eat out with a friend we had a glass of wine, some appetizers (tapas style), and the chocolate bomb desert. The food was amazing and the live music band was a hit!! Love it.
Thank you very much for your review. We are happy you enjoyed dinning with us. We hope to see you again soon.
