This place has it all. Amazing ambience, lovely food with gorgeous views. The Growers vision is fabulous, sourcing local produce and helping the community. You will not be disappointed.

Best fish and chips I have have ever eaten! The atmosphere was divine! Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed their meals, such fresh, delicious food! Service was efficient, friendly and readily available for any help. Highly recommen! We will definitely be back soon!

Average at best. Had the linguini as a main. I think it would best be kept simple with tomoato base sauce with garlic and basil, as opposed to the edible flowers & snow peas

Service and ordering system needs to be improved. Starters from the Smokehouse came after the Main from the kitchen.

My husbands chicken burger ratio was wrong he ate half the burger and there was no more chicken in it so the other half only had the bun and coleslaw in which he didn’t eat.

The chicken itself was soft n soggy no crunch at all! I’ve had this meal once before and you could hear me chewing it, it was so crunchy! Which is why I ordered it again but I was very disappointed.

Table service was amazing everyone was very friendly and polite.

The table service saved our experience but hopefully we have a better experience with the food next time. Thank you

The vibe at growers was fantastic, food was quick and the staff were lovely!
The only suggestion for summer evenings I would have is a couple of discrete bug zappers.

Nice restaurant but having to queue for the bar in a long line while our food had already arrived at the table was annoying. Need a better system for ordering drinks

Was a lovely place to be very comfortable and the decor was great. Makes you feel like your in a resort. Bar service was a bit slow only one person serving so there was a line up for drinks. Food was good but the menu was the same as lunch and not a huge selection. Staff were brilliant very friendly and obliging

The service has been outstanding every time we have gone to the Growers. The atmosphere and the food was amazing and they accommodated us beautifully. I would definitely recommend The Growers.

The venue is well presented, the food is average and the service on our last visit was poor. The bar service was particularly bad with at times up to 15 people waiting to be served. Tables remained cluttered with plates and glasses for some time.

I was surprised as the previous visit we had excellent service - so it may have been the day.

I would qualify any recommendation.

Atmosphere is great. Gardens and play area are also great. Food is poor, time to receive meals were ok however one meal arrived an hour after the rest.

Very disappointing dining experience. There were about 35 staff and none of then seemed to know what they were doing. The QR ordering system seemed to take the wait staffs responsibility for service away and they were all just walking around talking to each other. Our main meals got served to us at different times leaving people watching others eating. Entree plates were not removed before mains arrived. We had to ask for table water and cutlery. Looks like a beautiful new restaurant, but the phrase I would use is all the gear and no idea.

We have been a couple of times and while the food/service isn't always 100% we like that ambiance and close to home. However, today we went for a quick lunch (3 adults and 5 kids). Ordered through their online ordering system. After 45 mins of no food went in to find out what was happening, as noone had come to our table to check. Apparently ours and another table with young kids didn't appear in the kitchen. the floor manager asked to see the receipt of order by email, then asked to see the bank account as proof the money was paid. This was a Fairly out of line request in my opinion to ask a customer to show their bank account!?! Another helpful waitress was able to check the system to see the order was received but not sent to the kitchen due to some internal error. No discount, refund, complimentary anything was offered. As we were about to leave the floor manager offered ice cream for the kids, but it was too little too late. Such a shame seeing as we have been there numerous times.
We were also asked repeatedly if more people were joining us, although we had booked for 8 and there were 8 of us there.
Did speak to the floor manager and the helpful waitress and discussed better ways this could have been handled. The place was empty when we walked in lots of staff who should have been more attentive and realised the delay before we brought it up.
And these cheese board which we have loved previously was dismal and disappointing

Wait staff were fantastic, food... well they got o e meal order wro g and huge discrepancy with meals arriving g at different times as the online ordering system couldn't cope with separating the bill so same table orders had to be added separately.

Great food, hate the impersonal ordering system. Lacks a description on the oysters selecting 1 oyster serve is just one oyster, I would of ordered more if I knew that. So annoying that open table doesn’t accept Apple Pay or PayPal and you had to re-enter card details for each order. Food and location is great

Been three times now and won’t go back in a hurry unless menu changes!! Ambience is good service is good

We love the whole idea of Growers and to have something like this on our doorstep. We think the setting is fabulous! Sadly, we were a little too cold on the night as the doors had to be kept open onto the terrace apparently and the air conditioning was on too! Apart from that the steak which I had was delish! As were the bread and dips my hubby had. In honesty we did not thikn the mushroom caked had much flavour but perhaps that is just our palate. Overall, we love the place for low key eats and we will be back :-) Thank you.

Great atmosphere, very relaxed and enjoyable- children well catered for with a fun play area and kind staff gave colouring kits given to my son.

Great fit out for the venue, very stylish.

Delicious lunch with girlfriends; the pizza was cooked perfectly and the olives plentiful.
Wines on tap (pinot grigio), ginger beer and cider ready to go.
Rob and staff were on point today for service with a smile

I’ve already written on TripAdvisor- you have a wonderful setting but unfortunately the menu did not meet our expectations. Limited & expensive.

It was really disappointing to have majority of the vegan options not available, forcing two of the party to resort to eating side dishes.
I have previously eaten at the growers and loved the experience.
However this time it was depressing.

Great food - tasty menu and very well-priced - great value for money. Was delivered super quickly to the table too! Definitely will be returning again to try out some other dishes.

We were greeted on arrival, taken to our table. Placed our order using our phones, the meals were delicious and came out very quickly.

Ambience and Staff were great. Unfortunately the food left a lot to be desired. It all came out at different times. I had the chicken maryland and polenta. I had to add a lot of salt to the polenta to get any flavour from it. The Maryland itself was hidden by dry green rocket and i had ONE asparagus on my plate. My partner enjoyed his pepperoni pizza and my grandmother enjoyed the fish. The beef eye fillets were hit and miss; half of our party enjoyed the dish and the other half did not.

Best dining experience in Nowra.

Whilst there have been some mixed reviews, this is a new business that opened during changing Covid restrictions so we went with an open mind and realistic expectations. We thought the fit out was lovely, the food was a bit different to the usual pub fare but excellent and the service was good with timely food arrivals. Junior staff can lack attention at times but they will improve with experience and it was nothing that negatively impacted our meal. I think they are trying to be something different to the Worrigee Sports Club upstairs. I'd recommend it for a lazy lunch or a sunset dinner.

The beetroot gnocchi was absolutely incredible. The pepperoni pizza and burgers were up to the mark and the pear tartlet was also superb.

Teenagers loved the cool background music playing, and thought QR code menu was super cool!

Despite the challenges associated with busyness - the service was great.

Thanks again Rob & team - had a very special lunch.

Something a little different , more selection on the menu and maybe smokers further away from dinners would be my only suggestion. Had a lovely dinner and good wine and beer selection.

Rob the manager is very good at his job. He I produced himself and said I'd we had any problems to ask for him. Growers has employed a lot of younger people and Rob is doing a marvellous job teaching them the correct way to wait tables. Great food. We will definetly go again.
