Upon arrival the hostess told us we couldn’t dine in the main restaurant and implied that OpenTable somehow overbooks them and they didn’t have tables available. She said we could sit at the bar instead. I’m still not fully clear how/why they’d book with OpenTable if they’re not able to seat appropriately. Aside from that, the food was fine and nothing spectacular. I believe this location was a bad experience in comparison to the other experiences in the past at the Westlake and former Domain locations.

The food was good. I was looking for the port saltimbocca but it was no longer on the menu. The ambiance is more for lunch. The seating is pretty tight inside. The ravioli was delicious. I loved the sauce. Pineapple daiquiri is the way to go.

Went to the downtown location for brunch and was surprised at how skimpy the food was. My partner ordered chicken and French toast and I had the stackhouse burger with mushrooms and onions, which was also a meager amount for add-ons. The chicken tenders weren’t even a child-sized portion. Total rip-off. I suggest going to the Westlake location where I have always had a better experience.

We had brunch. I had the migas. I wish I had asked for sausage because I missed not having meat. The black beans and fresh-from-scratch salsa was great. I wished I would have had the waffle with the chicken. The one bite of the chicken was hot-diggity good. Also, can you turn down the outdoor fans in the fall? In the shade on the outdoor patio it was a tad cold.

Great place for a date night! The food is reasonably priced and plentiful, the atmosphere quiet and romantic. We shared the bruschetta (Italian sausage with roasted red pepper & goat cheese was our favorite), and a huge charcuterie board. Finished off our meal with delicious crème brûlée and bread pudding. Highly recommend!

Overall, a great place for food and wine. But LOUD. I was sitting right next to my date. We had to shout to hear each other over the din. Install some noise dampening panels, for Pete’s sake. You’re not a nightclub; you’re a wine bar and restaurant. People like to talk during dinner, not dance on the tabletops.

We didn’t get the mimosas we ordered in the first place until we were almost done with our meals. We decided that we no longer needed the mimosas. Which our server said, “Sorry, it’s been busy”….this was the second time we had even seen him passed our table—he was nowhere to be found. And other servers around were serving the tables just fine and were present.. it wasn’t “busy.“ I think our server might have been high, given we each had to repeat our orders twice to him. Either he was high, or it was his first day on the job. Either way, if we come back we’ll make sure not to get stuck with him.

Such a lovely space with several brunching options for every diner. We started with three recommended Bruschetta which were all delicious. The pistachio/ honey was the best. Then we shared Avocado toast and fried okra — everything was spectacular. Service was stellar and the view- gorgeous. A must!!
