The Grove Wine Bar and Kitchen - Cedar Park
Local, organic focus
We buy produce from local farms like Pedernales Valley, Bella Verdi and Honey Doe and cook with organic ingredients every chance we get.
Outdoor dining, year-round
All of our restaurants have plenty of patio seating because there’s nothing like dining al fresco in beautiful Central Texas.
Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options
You do you, and we’ll make sure you always have a delicious meal at the Grove.
Wines for every taste
We taste literally thousands of wines each year to craft wine lists with glasses, flights and bottles that will excite and inspire you.
The eggs benedict was good. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the dish was served warm. The other 2 standard breakfasts (eggs, toast, potatoes and bacon) were served cold. The 'scrambled' eggs were just a slab of cold eggs and not much worse than being served cold eggs.
Went for drinks and appetizers and the food was delicious.
Overall I like your place a lot but I was celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday and our waitress was very rude. I send you a request a week before this event I was expecting more about your place
The Grove used to be our go to place for eating in Cedar Park. I've posted great reviews for the Grove, but the last 2 times we have been to the Grove it hasn't been great. We were there for dinner on Sunday night. Waitress was friendly, we've had her before. I ordered a bottle of wine and my husband ordered a glass of wine. We were sitting near the sliding glass door. One of the staff needed to get something from outside and opened the door and left them open while she got what she needed. It was really cold outside and all the cold air came in the restaurant. Our appetizer was brought out by someone other than our waitress. Put the shrimp on the table and walked off. We had no plates for the appetizer so we had to get our waitress's attention to get plates. Meal arrived, we both had spaghetti and meatballs. We usually look forward to the focaccia garlic bread, but it was soggy and flavorless. The sauce for the spaghetti was watery. My husband finished his glass of wine and wanted another but the waitress never came by to ask. We had to flag her down. She apologized about the wait. This is the second time we have dined here and had to ask for more wine. You shouldn't run out of wine at a wine restaurant :) Ordered a coffee after dinner, which took a long time to get. These may seem like small things, but when you add them up it makes for a not so great dining experience. For $132 the service should be better.
Dinner on the way home from work with a colleague. Ordered the shrimp bisque which had no taste and a little on the watery side. My friend also said his venison chili was boring.
I had the Halibut which was outstanding. Our waiter was a good guy and took good care of us. I would eat here again but will skip the bisque.
My Birthday! Co-worker & I had dinner. Everything was great!
I met friends there for a girl's night. The staff is friendly, attentive and is knowledgable of their wines and pairing suggestions.
Overall it was okay. The meal was rushed and our server wasn’t very engaged. The food mostly was good. The ambience is nice as well.
Dined here with family for New Years EVE. Nice atmosphere great unique selection of entrees, appetizers and children's menu as well.
We tried two wine flights, the bruschetta appetizer, and two different pasta entrees. It was all very good. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Pacing of courses was good. The flights were nice selections and the food was delicious. Had a great time.
It is always great! We love Sunday brunch!
We often eat lunch here. We have eaten at three of your locations; still need to try the Domain location.
It was a late Saturday night. They were sweet: waiter and bartender! They let us enjoy a course with a drink and take a break to visit on the patio. Kitchen and bar did an outstanding job. My date and I were very happy. Highlights: good pours, okra, mussels, beet salad, scallops.
Server was super super nice!
Service was great, food was good and very much appreciated moderation of acoustics. One minor note: Their website would only allow reservation request for six, so I put in a note that I needed a table for seven, but apparently the note wasn't seen, so we initially had a table for six, but they took care of it immediately. Could have used one more table as it was slightly crowded, but okay overall.
I have been here quite a bit before a while back, but it seemed as if things changed. My meal had more vegetables than meat. To me the percentage of meat versus the vegetable ratio wasn’t adequate.
Great food, our server, Austin, was great, attentive but not annoying. A little loud inside. Would definitely continue to go, love sitting outside.
The staff was friendly and attentive, the lattes were beautiful and the food tasted great!
Visiting any restaurant with a broken dominant hand is difficult, so I applaud our waitress and the kitchen chefs for being very thoughtful in the preparation of my meal. It was such a lovely gesture, to be sure my tenderloin was cut into bite-size pieces...and man, was it prepared perfect! The wines were also quite delicious, and the staff were real troopers coming out during the rains ahead of the cold front to keep up with our wants and needs. Fantastic, all around!
I’m always about a wonderful outdoor atmosphere when I go out. The Grove has a very relaxing and well designed outdoor seated area that created an enjoyable experience. Our waiter was very personable and he gave us a wonderful wine suggestion to go alone with our appetizers.
We love the wonderful flavors that are put together at The Grove. A real treat for the taste buds!
They were great about recommending a drink for my daughters 21st birthday. Service was excellent and very quiet and comfortable restaurant. We loved the Brussels sprouts! A little more expensive than we hoped but great for a special occasion.
Patrick, the server, was cordial, personable, and knowledgeable about the menu items. He deserves five stars. The food, salad and halibut was outstanding.
We had a wonderful time, and we were able to sit in the outdoor patio and enjoy the weather. The server was efficient, knowledgable, very friendly. Fantastic place!
Great brunch menu. Our server was outstanding checking all was good without being too much.
Figured is good service is great. Nice outside dining experience
One of our favorite places. Great menu and excellent wine selections. We like the way they change the menu and add new items & remove others. Always a great dining experience.
The Redfish is truly the most underrated item their menu! It was a huge portion that was cooked & seasoned perfectly, and surprisingly better than the Redfish at Salt Traders! We had a lovely date night and great service from our server, Slater. Looking forward to returning soon.
We LOVED our experience here. It is upscale, excellent food, and the ambiance is PERFECT for conversation...no shouting over loud music! A PERFECT evening!
The salad itself was $9 and then I added protein and it was the same price as the salad. Which seems a little ridiculous and it’s not like I got that much. I’m on keto diet so it limits me to what I can eat. It was 4 tiny pieces of steak. I will think again before coming back.
Reed Salad is usually my favorite but this time was just ok. Very little cheese and even fewer nuts. Added avocado for. Additional cost. This was barely more than a greens salad. Disappointing.
Perfect brunch - enjoyed everything about it! Service waa great, the bruschetta to die for, and ambience light and airy
Special diets we’re accommodated very well. Loved tofu pad Thai
Middle of lunch rush entree was a little slow coming out but completely reasonable.
I was hoping for a romantic night out with my husband. Yet, the whole time I just wanted to get out of the daycare filled with crying babies.
The food was great. Our waiter was polite, courteous, Texas-friendly and very helpful. I'd recommend the restaurant based on food and service. The caveat:
The downside is the table for two was too small, allowing the restaurant to position tables too closely together. That meant it was difficult to have a quiet, personal conversation with anyone in my party, over a fairly noisy crowd. Overall, a taxing experience
Nice place. Good food. Good wine selection. Not as loud as it appears. Would frequent if we lived closer.
It's pretty nice experience this new place in Cedar Park.
It was a great environment loved my meal.
Server did not approach our table for about 10 minutes after we were seated. Service was prompt after that. Wine and food were excellent! Will definitely return.
They changed the Frose recipe, which I didn't love. Otherwise great as usual
