   The Grove never disappoints and their brunch is a winner. We had 12:00 reservations which are a must on the weekends for their brunch. My wife and I shared their Avocado Toast. It's a favorite of ours. Then my wife had their Shrimp and Grits and if you've never had Shrimp and Grits, this is about as good as it gets. I had the Chicken Tamales with 2 Over Easy Eggs and Tomatillo Salsa. Shame on me for always ordering the same thing. We sat in the indoor patio as even though the temperature was mild, the sun on the outdoor patio is intense and can get quite warm. They have umbrellas but you will spend a lot of time adjusting the umbrella and your seating until the sun goes down later in the afternoon and evening. I didn't give 5 stars for the noise as it was quite loud in the indoor patio primarily because of 2 loud talking/laughing women who weren't feeling any pain. Nothing annoys me more. My wife wouldn't let me speak to the offending women for fear of causing a scene. I wasn't the only person very annoyed by their outrageous volume level as I looked around at the other 12 or so tables. Loudmouth adults bother me more than kids do. I can be quite diplomatic but have a temper that's been described as a man fully capable of going from calm to life in prison in a few seconds. The loudest one had either a boyfriend or husband with her and HE was annoyed by their volume level. Great place just an unfortunate experience having to share space with an inconsiderate, exceeding loud couple of women.

   I enjoyed the drinks and food. After breakfast, I hung out in the bar to finish my drink. It’s a beautiful restaurant and venue.

   We had Saturday brunch at the Grove. Interesting architecture of various parts of place. Bar looks magnificent but we were seated on inside patio. Nice server although needed to ask for water refills. My guest had the soup of the day and loved it. I had the roasted poblano cream soup. Wonderful flavor with a nice hint of burn. We then split a shrimp and grits entree. Good number a good sized shrimp with tasty spice. Not super spicy hot but too salty for me and I love to salt things.

   I had the grilled Atlantic salmon on gouda and fontina grits with grilled Brussel sprouts and it was excellent. My wife had a baby kale Caesar salad, a crab cake and a cup of roasted poblano pepper soup. She thought the soup of delicious, the crab cake was very good but she realized she was not a big fan of kale but I had some and enjoyed it. The young lady that was our waiter was very good and our spot indoors was not noisy. The only thing that keeps me from giving five stars is that I think the wine was pricy and the amount that was poured was not enough.

   The waitress was awesome, she gave great recommendations for the wine, dessert gave a perfect balance of attendance. The food was outstanding and the atmosphere is classy with a quirkinesses.

    We were seated quickly, and isn’t that what reservations are for? Service was good and the food was awesome! We had drinks, appetizer, entrees, and desserts. Plus a couple of after dinner drinks since The Grove had a good selection of sipping whiskeys. Everything was good!

    There were 8 of us for brunch and our server did a great job taking care of us all including the 2-1/2 and 4-1/2 year olds. Food came out timely and hot, the adult beverages were good and the kids got to frolic outside while we waited. Our server was new but we would never have known it had he not told us! Fantastic experience!

    Absolutely LOVED this place! We went for a bridal brunch. Highly recommend! I will say though, don’t spend more than 5 seconds looking around at their super cute bar area or the bartender will tell you to leave. 😂

    It was so pleasant at the Grove. We sat outside and enjoyed the sunshine ( under an umbrella). There was a guitarist/ vocalist performing the whole time. The place is quite family oriented) -there were little kids running around. But- the food was great! I had the poblano soup( I need the recipe) and then the brisket tacos. They were excellent, and so filling. My husband had the eggs Benedict with the brisket meat. The waiter was quite pleasant and friendly.Staff kept running around moving umbrellas for the guests. Overall- a great experience! I am coming back the next time I am in town!!

    Treating my elderly mother and her friend to lunch, as we were in from out of town. Made reservations online with a specific note to seat us in a QUIET table as both of our guests are elderly and have a difficult time hearing, if lots of noise. The hostess clearly didn’t read my specific note and we were seated on the veranda with open doors to the outdoor music stand. This did start our brunch off on the right note. The next disappointment was our waiter. No name tag, did not get our drink order correct (several issues throughout service), no dinnerware placed until we asked for it, out of get 4 brunch orders, 2 egg orders were cold, along with a cold English muffin, no jelly with toast (which was asked for 2 times). Highly disappointed in the waiter and food. When in Tyler, we usually dine here as I love the ambiance, but this maybe our last visit will be our last for awhile.

    A 7:30 reservation and was seated at 8:10. Kitchen back up was the excuse. Also it was a cool night and had to constantly close the fort to the patio as staff was going in and out without closing the door. Food was great and waitress was excellent.

    What is the point of reservations when you are seated 45 minutes late… the staff was running around frantic and stressed which put a damper on the mood of the evening. I ordered a drink and it came from “not the main bar” and it tasted like seltzer water with no alcohol, very nasty compared to the original drink purchased from the main bar during the excessive wait. My husband ordered a beer that never made it. Our server checked on us once and was so oblivious that we didn’t receive things ordered …. Very upsetting after it was suppose to be such a special evening.

    Hannah, our server, was top-notch. One suggestion for improvement: move servers' station away from dining tables. Our table was right next to a station, detracting somewhat from the privacy of a personal conversation. There's plenty of room, so it doesn't appear that it would be inconvenient for you. Thank you.

    My wife and I decided to go here for date night, and it was absolutely the best food we have ever eaten, I honestly can’t even think of another restaurant that even comes close.The service was great and the environment was very welcoming and relaxing. The food and drinks are outstandingly professionally prepared. 100 percent perfection in every area. Definitely will be visiting again and telling others.

    Granted, this was a valentines special menu only, the quality of the food (especially my wagyu beef pinchaca pear) was extremely underwhelming. We spent over $250 for two meals and two drinks.

    I still can’t figure out why I go back to this restaurant. The only thing I can figure out is that it’s the atmosphere/setting. It’s certainly not for the food. Burger came out wrong. Eggs Benedict were cold. Wedge salad with chicken is $21 and is average at best.

    Took my mom here for brunch on her 80th birthday. Party of four. We had steak and eggs (Wagyu skirt steak), chicken fried steak, shrimp and grits, and crab cake Benedict. Everyone really enjoyed their meal. The eggs were great but the eggs on my crab cake Benedict were undercooked leaving the white runny. Most would probably not be put off by that but it’s an issue for me. Hard to scrape runny white of a a crab cake. I didn’t want to make an issue out of it so I did the best I could. We finished with crème brûlée and salted caramel cheesecake, both were amazing. Ambiance was great. The space has a lot of glass which makes for stunning views of the grounds but takes a loud space and amplifies it. Definitely would come back.
