The Grove Gippsland
Set amongst rolling hills with lovely views through floor to ceiling windows, we were greeted warmly and enjoyed good service. The shared style plates and local wines made for enjoyable eating.
Lovely setting, view & ambience, friendly staff & tasty food.
We went in April excellent this time the complete opposite. The fish was full of bones and still had scales on them. The second course came in a small one bowl to feed four adults. No children's menu for the 8 & 9 year old grand children present with us and if this is policy it should be advertised. Our food was twice served to the wrong table first. The food overall was poor and over priced at $400.
Would and have highly recommended The Grove to friends and family, staff were fantastic very helpful looked after us throughout our experience and friendly.
Starting platter was extremely poor , olive oil ,bread ,pickled cabbage, pesto, ricotta and some sort of froth
Entree: poorly made gnocchi were the potatoes went brown before the gnocchi dough was cooked
Main : fish on purée , beef ribs carrots
A Pleasant calm place to enter with staff in a relaxed professional mode to take care of us for the afternoon.
The luncheon was shared by a family whom love their food and all went home very happy and contented.
Certainly an big upgrade from a counter meal and so with it.
