The Cafe at The Grounds has team of chefs who constantly push the boundaries and reinvents the classics in order to deliver you perfect flavour combinations that will make you want to come back time and time again.

NOTE: At The Cafe, to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to dine in, we operate on a walk-in only basis for smaller tables during peak hours. Came early (10am booking) and avoided the crowds especially on a Sunday. Everyone enjoyed their brekkie, cauliflower fritters with poached eggs and bacon, avo on toast, and wagyu pastrami eggs Benedict in a croissant. Service was good, attentive and quick except maybe for our second order of coffee which took just a bit longer to arrive. Ambience was good, a tad noisy as it got busier towards the end of our meal. Overall, my overseas visitors were very happy and impressed with their experience.

The place is a bit overcrowded. We had make booking and reserved a table but was arranged to sit outside the cafe next to the queue.

Had an early booking so the cafe was not as busy but once we’re finished it was already so busy and lots of people! We also had a pram so be aware that there’s not much space. The theme was Snow White and it’s fantastic. Especially if you have kids, it’s worth a visit. Food is great, the staff looking after us was exceptional. Bit pricey, but it’s nice to visit every now and then for the theme.

I love coming here and I will come again, this visit was ok but you were missing both Tomatos and Halloumi from the menu (unavailable). I tried the cauliflower fritters which were amazing although the poached eggs were stone cold. I will come again, but maybe not on a public holiday weekend. Staff as usual were excellent.

The high tea set up was unreal and the food was amazing, as well as our lovely server, who also assisted us with taking away any leftovers. Unfortunately the sitting time was only 1.5 hours which went really fast. We opted to move into the potting shed area to finish off drinks and gift giving for our small event, however within 30-40 minutes we also had to wrap up as they had another private event starting.

I had my baby shower here on the weekend and had a truly memorable experience! All my guests LOVED the glasshouse setting, the food was delicious and the lady who served us was delightful! I just wish we could have had some more scones and a bit longer of a sitting - 2 hours would have been great! But I honestly had the best time ever. Thank you for making my baby shower so special!
