   Amazing as always. When looking for a delicious Yahdie breakfast can always count on Grotto. Can’t wait to return.

   If I could give this place a zero, actually NEGATIVE stars I would. Went there for Mother’s Day dinner. We had a reservation for 7:30, waited at the front for 15 minutes, no one was there to check us in and seat us. I had to ask a server running around. Took our orders relatively fast. Now as we were seated the vibe was no one was having a good time. No one had food on their tables and looked very annoyed. The speakers we god awfully loud, even our server couldn’t hear us properly It too asking 3 different people to turn down the music for them to do so. 35-40 ish minutes in we had no appetizer or even water. We had to ask the bussing boy to grab us water. No issue okay it’s mother day lots of people. But now it’s 8:15 we still have no food just water. We asked all four people working what the update on food they all said they would ask and get back to us but never did. My server then came with the wrong order and couldn’t figure out which tables order it was. I witnessed three tables of people get up and leave upset and unsatisfied. Finally walked out at 8:45 extremely irritated and hungry. If I wanted to sit and drink water for an hour we could’ve stayed home. Will never be going back, maybe the food is good but I wouldn’t know! Service and everything terrible do not go!

   It was Mother’s Day and they were not prepare for the crowd. Everyone was sitting waiting and no one was eating. It seemed like they kept forgetting us and we had to keep asking is anyone going to take care of us. After sitting for over an hour we got the appetizer and after an hour and 45 minutes we left without eating dinner because it never came . Mind you we had already waited 30 minutes to be seated after having a reservation. It wasn’t a great experience at all. The waiter was nice and apologetic but still very disappointing.

   Place is small, with the tight seating and the sound, hard to hear your conversation with the music and amongst others. Food was Delicious and enjoyed the flavors and freshness. Pricey, but that’s ok when the food is good but the protein portions are small for the prices like oxtail very small. I will revisit in the future. The service was friendly. Thank you.

   The unpleasant odor was overwhelming, and the level of professionalism was severely lacking. After waiting for ten minutes without receiving menus, I had to approach a staff member to obtain a scan. The establishment requires significant improvements in service quality. We decided to leave before ordering, as it did not seem like a suitable place for dining.

   Waited almost 2 hours and still my food wasn’t ready. We had to leave.

   I’ve been here multiple times and also order out on Uber Eats, the food, drinks, and service are 10/10. My favorite entree is the Shrimp stuffed with crab meat, it’s amazinggggg!!! My go to drink is the Sorrel Mimosa. Grotto has a great vibe!

   Meh!!!! It was super cold but they were incredibly kind by bringing out a heater to keep us warm. The food for me was errrrr nah! I got the snapper and I don’t mind food taking a while to come out but it better be delicious. It was soooo dry though it looked wet which doesn’t make sense (I got the brown stew…) with zero flavour. I almost cried. ;( The servers were lovely though. Presentation was good.

    if you don’t mind waiting an hour for your food, then come here to be honest. The food was great but to wait an hour for an entrée is insane. And on top of that being charged a 20% service fee on top of taxes, the food was good, but I won’t be back at this establishment.
