I was in town and staying nearby at The Palmer House Hilton. Walking distance. Booked a reservation for 2 for dinner just a few hours in advance. We ordered the charcuterie board, 8oz filet and added chimmicurri, side of fries, ribeye and added mushrooms on top, cheesecake and an americano. Everything we ordered was good! Both of our steaks were cooked more than the medium rare we requested but we did not complain and we ate it regardless. I’d love to go back here the next time I’m in down.

This restaurant has a very good location across from the CIBC Theater in Monroe Street. If you’re going to see a play, then this is a convenient location to eat. Overall, the food is decent, but not great. The steak no tastier than what I can make at home for 1/3 of the price. The service was decent- they got us out in time for the show- but not exceptional. For instance, my drink was forgotten and I had to wait quite some time to get the waiter’s attention.

Bread basket with chive butter to start. Nice surprise! Bob Dylan’s Heavens Door bourbon in an old fashioned before « Girl from North Country » the drink was better than the musical ! Early curtain at CIBC so we split a wedge salad and the salmon. The salmon was so good I wish I had the whole thing! We will be back!

We had a wonderful dinner there prior to seeing a show across the street. We started with a drink at the bar and both bartenders were very kind and inviting. The waiter we had was very attentive and everything came out as expected. The ahi tuna and grouper were spectacular as was the key lime pie.
