   Abby, Olivia, and Jenna, were wonderful!....my geust ordered a vegan meal, and it had to be sent back atleast two times and Jenna made sure it was done correctly. Although she did not have a great experience with the food, we had a terrific experience with these thre young ladies. We will give The Waterview another chance because of them. :)

   I gave a 3 star rating because no one told us anything about happy hour menu. Happy hour is till 7 and we were there at 5. Other than that food and the ambiance was great.

   Total surprise our reservation was for a buffet. Food was ok,but service was not anywhere special. A mandatory gratuity of 20% was overstated. A party of 3 should thank staff for great service and I typically leave more when service warrants, but not when we were there. I probably will not return. Your buffet is SELF serve and I do not like being told what to tip, especially when serving myself.

   Overall I would say I am mostly dissatisfied with the Mother’s Day brunch. The steak was very good the calamari and shrimp were good but not great and the oysters were bad. They were shucked ahead of time not fresh and the sixth one I had was bad so I didn’t eat any more. The desert was amazing and luckily I had plenty of room for that after looking over the rest of the food which was really just a normal breakfast buffet you would see at a nice hotel. For the most part the service at the table was great but being a buffet we only saw them for an occasional mimosa. The steak was in high demand as it really was the best option and they were not bringing it out as fast as it was being served so there was a small line being built during the wait. On a couple occasions when we were waiting in line to get served a few people walked right up in front of the line to get served and the server did not hesitate to serve them first instead of the people that were next in line. At the end of the brunch when we payed via credit card and had cash for tip but they automatically took the tip off our credit card. Given the high price of the food and the low quality of the food I had to rate the value at its lowest and can not recommend this establishment. The dining room was quite comfortable where the food was but were we were sitting was very cold most people had just small jackets because it was a really nice day out and most people were wearing them, I wish we would have brought ours in

   We normally love this restaurant, however last night we took a client of ours. EVERYTHING had to be sent back! We NEVER send good back. Our pastas were so over cooked after we specified extra aldente. The chicken was way over cooked so our guest ordered steak medium and it was completely rare. The fries were so soggy. When it came out a second time 3 dishes were better but not anywhere near your normal standards. We were so disappointed. Never had anything but great meals here. Our server Caroline was terrific as is your entire staff always. The manager ( I can’t recall her name ) was fantastic. The drinks were great as always. It was just the food that was so off. That said my wife and I would still come back, unfortunately our guests would not. They wanted to go to the Country house but we wanted them to try here.

   honest review. me and my husband went for date night. upon arrival the lobby and bar area are gorgeous! looking out the window as we were walked to our table the view was incredible. noticed there were no people at the bar on a saturday night and maybe 6 tables occupied. this is when i became skeptical. drinks came and were very good. appetize was fried calamari with hot peppers. taste was delicious but could have been a little bit crispier. dinner i had a crabcake and a wedge. the crabcake was just above warm, and the wedge was a large slice of iceberg with way too much of the center bitter heart. dressing had no flavor. my husband had the ribeye special and took 2 bites but was turned off from all the grizzle. skipped dessert alltogether. service was fine. there was a kids party directly above us and all we heard was the kids running back and forth. i knnow its a catering hall but it takes alot away from the ambiance. the chandalier was rattling everytime they ran. everyone around us were complaining. overall it was ok. i dont thnk we will return

    It is a lovely place for a brunch with views of Long Island Sound. The buffet had many choices, but the meat selections were tough and dry. A bit overpriced (Easter was more expensive than regular Sunday brunch).

    This was the Easter buffet. Overall, everything was very good. The service was excellent and the free mimosas kept coming! Our server Courtney was so good. Big selection of all categories. The carrot cake was exceptional. Our only recommendation would be to have a REAL turkey breast on the bone at the carving station, not e large turkey roll. And, the carved leg of lamb was very tough…suggest switching to roast beef. The view of course is spectacular.

    Our server was sweet but gave us bread with no bread plates. It was a Friday night at 7:30pm we were third table sat in the restaurant. The actual restaurant decor is beautiful on the water but at night it doesn’t matter no outdoor lighting so you can’t see it anyway. The calamari appetizer although cooked perfectly was greasy but tasty. French onion soup was extremely salty. The wedge salad was good but the fried egg on top as opposed to a traditional boiled egg didn’t steal the show. The beet and pear salad had a great dressing but too much and was over powered with cheese. Bone-in ribeye was cooked perfectly but not seasoned at all needs a sauce and at $75 it should be fantastic, mediocre meat quality. The Horsey sauce I ordered on the side was the traditional creamy horseradish sauce you used to. Ordered porterhouse pork chop we were later informed they were out, got the burger in its place. Great burger cooked perfectly and special sauce was delicious. Desserts we ordered a cookie dough filled egg roll which was super tiny and literally one egg roll cut in half fried and served on a huge plate. The egg roll wrapper definitely too dense for the desert. Ordered the homemade apple crisp it was very hot from being microwaved the topping was not crisp at all but got soggy from sitting in the fridge then having the tiny scoop of ice cream and whip cream. Not a restaurant I would return to at this point. It’s called the Club steakhouse but there’s only steaks on the bottom left of the menu and not typical steakhouse quality more like a glorified J&Rs steakhouse with a gorgeous ambiance.

    The food was amazing! The filet mignon melts in your mouth, the chicken was cooked and seasoned perfectly, the wedge salad was decadent and the lobster flatbread was so creamy!

    Amazing server however both items I would've chosen (butternut squash soup and chicken milanese) were taken off the menu but still posted online. As I only eat chicken, the only other hot chicken dish was mac and cheese with glorified Friday's chicken strips. For a steakhouse, that is beyond terrible.

    Reservation made & arrived on time. Asked if I had a reservation even though the restaurant was almost empty. Really great views from our indoor table. The service was a bit erratic. Originally had a female server, then a male. Drinks were a little slow coming to the table even though the restaurant was half filled. Ordered Thai Calamari was good but clearly frozen, being so close to Sound it should be fresh. Raw clams were clean and fresh. Chilean Sea Bass was flavorful and cooked very well. Bivet Steak was cooked to order and seasoned to perfection. Sides of Grilled Asparagus & Mac & Cheese were very good. My opinions are…the room is over lit…meaning add some better atmosphere by dimming the lights and the service needs to be tighter..waited way to long for drinks with the amount of people in restaurant. Bartender seemed more interested in babes all game on TV than customers. Finally, a gentleman passed our table twice, asked about our experience yet was wondering why he didn’t see what we saw. Finally I asked myself why a restaurant with pretty good food, offering indoor and outdoor dining overlooking the Long Island sound was not packed to capacity on a Saturday night?

    We really enjoyed our dinner at The Club. This is our second visit, and it has been excellent both times. Service was attentive, appetizers, main courses, and desserts were delicious, and we had a wonderful server. Very enjoyable and highly recommended !!

    We visit "the club each summer we come up to NY and we noticed the service a little slower and the food not as good but overall it is a wonderful dining experience and we understand the difficulties of restaurants trying to hire adequate staff. The manager Paul was very ingratiating and we will definitely go back.

    We sat outside, the view was lovely. Our waitress was fantastic. Typically the food is consistently good. However today the escargot was doused in chopped garlic butter. My husband and I ordered the special,The special was a $75 bone in shell steak. Supposedly it was aged. It was not. It was also doused in the garlic butter so you could not appreciate the steak. The brussels sprout hash was delicious. Just very disappointed in the steak for that amount of money.

    Great food with beautiful, scenic views of the LI Sound. One of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time. All the guests in our party were very happy with the food. One small nit — there is an old abandoned tennis court to the side of the outdoor deck that was a bit of an eyesore. I hope the country club that owns the property will repave the court or make use of that space, because it’s truly a fantastic location otherwise and the food was outstanding.

    Beautiful view but food is pretty pricey and they advertise many plant based options but only saw one on the dinner menu. Food was tasty though! Would go back but only for special occasions when I’m prepared to spend big $$$!! $155 bill for two people before tip. Very quiet, only a few other couples there but it was a weekday evening.     Much nicer ambiance than previous incarnations. Food is mediocre at best. My husband’s steak was over cooked and very salty. My chicken Milanese was bland. Bread was not served warmed and the butter was stale. Staff was way too casual and familiar for this price point. I don’t like to be referred to as “Guys” in a place that is pretending to be high end.

    One of the better spots for outdoor dinning on LI. Water view...sunset...good service...plus a well prepared meal. The grilled octopus was cook just right...our "Porterhouse" for two was exceptional. We loved the wine list...found a new Pinot. Looking forward for a return meal at "The Club".
