Tucked into the gorgeous grounds of the Spring Hollow Golf Club close to Philadelphia, The Grille at Spring Hollow is a noted dining establishment offering wonderful fare in a unique setting. The old farmhouse setting for The Grille at Spring Hollow really sets the stage for its wonderful lunch and dinner options.
Guests enjoy weekly "Taste of Italy" events in addition to the iconic menu items ranging from Chesapeake crab cakes and filet mignon to the restaurant's namesake burger and delicious seasonal salads. With frequent wine and cheese events, happy hours and signature drinks, The Grille at Spring Hollow is a perfect place to gather and enjoy a meal.
I wanted to go out for dinner on my birthday. Somewhere within 5 miles, with a great selection, and eat out side. Also where I can dress up and not feel out of place!I didn't want to go to a chain resturant!!! So I was told this place has out door eating and awesome food. I am soooo happy I choose this place! Food was fabulous te view outside of the course was beatiful. And staff were wonderful! I would recommend spring hollow to anyone! Prices were reasonable! I have only one downfall about this place. The specials for that night had exactly what I was hoping to have for dinner, but when the waitier came back and told me it was last nights special. But what I did get was delicious!!
A friend recommended we give Spring Hollow a try, and we are so glad we did. The food was outstanding. Pepper crusted sirloin cooked perfectly and the fried shrimp were outstanding. Delicious fresh vegetables, but would like a small salad to accompany the dinner. Service wasn't horrible just "relaxed" .....we had to track her down a few times for additional drinks and in particular to get the check. We weren't in an extreme hurry but it was a little too long in between visits.
Our usual GNO group met here on a Wed night each had a nice meal. Portion size was adequate and everyone seemed pleased with their choice. The only issue we had was that they only had one server on that night and she was overwhelmed with the number of tables/people she needed to take care of. The bartender had to pitch in to deliver meals and refill glasses etc. They should have called in additional staff.
We had a very enjoyable evening at The grille at Spring Hollow. The outdoor dining is wonderful with a beautiful view. The food and service were excellent also.
We had a nice dinner. The prices are pretty reasonable for the type of place it is. Dinner portions are not huge, but desserts are. We sat outside and it was a beautiful view. There was smoking outside which I didn't like.
This was a holiday dinner and it was done to perfection. I have had many holidays there and also many casual day and night meals there......can not say anything but a wonderful place for fun and great meals for holidays or just to relax after a week of work or golf.
Have been there for wedings and other special occasions and they do a fantastic job. ALWAYS SPECIAL NO MATTER WHAT!!!!
I have eaten many times, food quality never disappoints me. Good prices, love the Salmon and the Sliders.
Very good food and overall experience.
The Grille is my favorite place to go for a healthy delicious meal. We are so lucky it is close to our home. When we need a treat we head there for dinner. I can get a good glass of wine and my husband a beer and I highly recommend the Salmon dishes and the the potatoes. The Chef has made some delicious sauces for the chicken and fish dishes.
I have never been to the Grille for lunch - but plan to try it soon.
My wife and I decided to go to the grille for Valentine's Day and were not disappointed. Great venue, relatively quiet (Olympic Hockey on the TV in the bar), meal and service great. Would recommend this place for a good dinner, especially the brunch they serve on holidays.
We had a wonderful mean at the Grille at Spring Hollow Golf Course.
The food was presented well and the meal was very tasty.
Compliments to the chef and staff. We will make reservations again.
Thank you! You made our Valentine's meal fantastic.
Food was great. Love the atmosphere. Have also been there during the summer and really enjoyed eating outside with the nice view.
We decided to check out this restaurant on Saturday night. We knew it was on a golf course, but were surprised how isolated it was nonetheless. However, coming up to the restaurant, it had a nice and quiet feel to it. Food was surprisingly very good (we ordered the grilled steak salad and pork ribs), and there was a good selection of draft beers. The restaurant was getting a little more crowded by around 6:45 PM, but it wasn't too bad. Service was quick, but the young waitress was not offering any refills on the drinks or water ordered. We'll definitely return to this place in the future.
This place has great food for a good price. Nice in the summertime.
We were a group of nine. The gratuity was added onto the bill which I normally do not have a problem with. Our waitress was terrible. One of our group got their meal 15 mins before the rest of us. No bread and never brought the water we asked for. Never offered coffee or tea. I consider myself very tolerant and understanding of waiters and waitresses as I worked in the field myself. There was only one other party of 2 in the restaurant and I do believe the waitress gave us poor service knowing she was going to be getting her tip irregardless.
The food was very good but the wait was too long for a reservation.
My friend and I had an awesome dinner starting with unbelievably delicious appetizers to the grand finale, dessert! Our server was most gracious and accommodating to not just our needs but to everyone seated around us. I've always been a little leery about going out to dinner on a holiday due to overcrowding and overbooking. The General Manager certainly had his hands full but worked side by side in whatever area needed an extra hand. We watched him behind the bar, clearing tables, seating patrons, stopping by each table asking if everything was to our satisfaction, all without looking frazzled. Quite a feat. Another perk was the prices on the "Holiday Menu". Extremely reasonable.
I have a coupon for this restaurant so we decided to give it a try. The food was very good and very reasonable. The only draw back is the lack of a wine list. They had a limited number of wines available, but they one we chose was good.
We really enjoyed the Thanksgiving buffet
We had a group of seven for lunch. The food was very good but the service was excellent.
We reserved a booth for 6:30. Were very happy with the food, all well prepared and seasoned. Exceptional food, very tasty. compliments to the cheff. our waitress was attentive and was there to refill glasses, but not hovering or pushing. Very relaxed environment, just 1 or 2 other diners and about 8 folks at the bar. Our friends wanted to watch the Notre Dame game and the channel was graciously changed for them. We sat and talked for a good while after finishing the meal. We felt relaxed, and never pushed to move on, which sometimes happens at other places. Overall a wonderful evening!!!! You have been and definately on our favorite list!!!! Thanks!!
