The Grille at Nyack

Food was very good and the steaks were delicious. Lots of space between tables for Covid safety in dining area, but bar looked a little too full. Service was knowledgeable and attentive (thank you, Jean!).

This place is not good. I ordered a surf and turf and got shrimp instead of lobster and it was a 56 dollar dish very disappointing. The pork chop was so dry and literally could not be eaten. The waitress was kinda rude and had an attitude. For how much the bill was it’s super disappointing. Save your money and go else where!

Went for brunch and since Covid they don't serve brunch any more. Opentable needs to update their info. Food and service were very good.

Birthday dinner. They gave us the private room and our waiter Marcel was amazing. He also served us for brunch the next morning. Lucky us.

We went for a Valentine’s Day dinner. The decor was just lovely. The roses hanging from the rustic ceiling were the perfect touch. They did have a preset menu but were very accommodating and slowed us to order off the main menu. The food was fantastic! The fried calamari was yummy and our entrees of the hanger steak was amazing especially the Demi glaze. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. Typically you’d think Valentine’s Day night would be packed which it was but all was good. You would think the chef would be in the weeds and service would be awful but it was the total opposite the staff was impeccable the food was on time and the service from start to finish was a joy to experience.

This is the third time we visited and brought people who had never been there. We all agreed it has a funky ambiance, good food selection and delicious food and cocktails. Will continue to dine there and perhaps visit for the summer experience!

Went for our anniversary, which is also NYE, booked through OpenTable, sat down and was given price fix menu that didn’t even include steak - at a steakhouse! We were told it was an up charge on top of already $80 for an app, main, dessert - no drinks included. Due to miscommunication manager allowed us to order off regular menu. Food was delicious as usual!! Seafood was good and fresh! Steak was tender and delicious, wine was good too! The only problem I had was feeling very rushed, waiters would stand around while everyone dined and be there the minute you looked close to some eating and food was just continuously coming out, no time in between. IMO I like to relax and enjoy when we got out to eat especially when it’s pricey. But this is my own negative w this place.

This was our first time at BV's Grill and we loved it. The food was super delicious and the atmosphere was festive and beautiful. We all ordered the filet mignon and it was superb. Loved the decor of the wood beams and lights. We will definitely be back! We highly recommend.

I thoroughly enjoyed my birthday dinner at BV’s Grill. My steak was cooked EXACTLY how I wanted it (med/rare). Mashed potatoes were definitely up to my (Irish) standards. And my daughter loved her chicken Parmesan with spaghetti. Our server Jean Marie was so great! She made my birthday even more special. Will definitely be back.

My husband and I had a lovely time on our date night. We were greeted with a smile from the general manager Brian Morrissey which was just the start of our lovely experience. The holiday decor the intimate setting and lighting was perfect for a date night venue. We started with cocktails at the bar which the special martinis were made to perfection. Our server Jean Marie was exceptional. Very attentive, knowledge of menu food items and was just the sweetest women. The food was from the appetizers ( asparagus tempura and crab and avocado tower) to the main dishes ( Hanger steak dish and the salmon special ) to the beautiful desserts all were just fantastically delicious! The chef even allowed for change of preparation on one of our dishes which is always lovely when you are allowed to customize your dish when out to dinner I highly recommend this restaurant for a date night, family dinner or even just a cocktail with appetizers.

Stayed at the Time Hotel for a mini staycation, but was disappointed. Waiter service was terrible. We were there on a Sunday night, and there were a total of 3 tables with customers and we saw the waitress 2 times within 2 hours. Fries were soggy, steak was lukewarm, pizza tasted like frozen pizza. However, the host and manager were great. We weren’t charged for the items we didn’t eat. Because of the host and manager, we might give this place another chance.

Service level is awful, staff need basic training on when to attend to tables, how to serve a table including not asking guests for help moving things to simply place a bread basket down. Wait staff is slow despite the restaurant seemingly fully staffed.

Very good food, and decor. They had a baseball game on the big screen which was good but then they turned it off and put on a horror movie with the volume on, kinda weird. They switched it to subtitles which was weird too. The food was very good and prepared well, a little pricey. Went on a Friday night and there weren’t many people there

Great service by Jean Marie and the food was delish...porterhouse, lobster over pasta & chicken parm. Only negative was it was way too dark to see the food, otherwise the meal was excellent.

Good time, good DJ, just was hottttttt! The hottest night of the summer and the AC was not blasting for a steakhouse! Food was excellent, Melvin was great at the bar, good drinks, good food!
