    We enjoyed a delicious lunch at The Grill. Luxurious atmosphere with well-spaced tables and attentive service. The scallops with cauliflower purée and mushrooms were perfectly cooked and a generous portion. The iced tea ice cubes in my Arnold Palmer were a refreshing delight!

    Came here for my 25th bday. My server Brandon W was wonderful. Patient and helpful, 10/10. The shrimp cocktail was disrespectful, $22 for 6 shrimp, sliced avocado, and a pour of cocktail sauce …. It’s a cocktail bar why would their shrimp cocktail not be in a cocktail glass. But the service made up for it so no complaints forreal. It’s a little pricy but that’s to be expected (that shrimp cocktail was a surprise tho lmao)

    If you are looking for a cute little chill place to go to with your friends or partner, I highly recommend, 10/10 for the food and service!!! Went with my friend this weekend and we were not disappointed! For reference we had the calamari, the crab cake (appetizers), the chicken caesar salad, and the ribeye. We also had lemon drops for drinks!

    The service is impeccable, from the host area to the visit by the GM. We arrive 45 minutes early for our reservation as we finished early with our plans in the immediate area. The host found it unreasonable to seat us early for which I was thankful for. The food came out timely, however, the apps came out at the same time as the salads; given that it's restaurant week, I understand the restaurant was executing on a high volume level. The main entree was perfect in temperature, however, the ribeye on the featured Restaurant Week entree was rather fatty and had a lot of tendons running through the steak. We did order a skirt steak in addition to our dinner which was cooked perfectly and tender. The Upside Down Pineapple cake was fantastic as I would recommend to everyone visiting. I would definitely come back.

    We are in town for my daughters bday weekend. Her bday isn’t until tomorrow- but the waiter overheard us talking about it and made it point to put a candle on her dessert. So sweet! Amazing food. Fabulous service.

    The heated patio was cold as F and they did not give us a heads up. No modification to the “signature” drinks…our modification was asking for a martini to be dirty.

    Excellent dining experience at the Grill on the Wharf in SW. The staff is so well trained, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Gluten free items are all marked as such. If there is any question about ingredients or allergies the waitperson will ask the chef. There is a Happy Hour at the bar only. The Caesar salad was enough for two to split The burger was prepared to perfection. The ribs were moist and meaty We had no room for dessert. I would recommend and plan to return.

    Husband, son, and I went here for New Year’s Eve at the recommendation of Yelp. Given that we were visiting the DC area on vacation, we weren’t too privy to all the good restaurants in the area. We had been at the Wharf the day before (and had lunch at Hank’s—I liked that place a little better), so we had already seen this location. Our reservation was at 9:45p, and we arrived at approximately 9:15pm. We were told our table wasn’t quite ready (which was understandable), and were asked for our cell #. We were sat down at around 9:40. My husband had the NY Strip, he said it was good, but there was a smoky flavor to it that he could have done without. My son’s medium-well filet minion was just okay, and he left about half of it. I had the Branzino, and that was good. So, why the 4 stars? It was close to $400 (this included the up front 20% gratuity they advertise before they take your order) for three meat or fish entrees, 3 sides, and 3 alcoholic drinks. This wasn’t Morton’s or Ruth Chris’s, therefore, it was not a very great value for the quality of food we received. The grill cook kept putting something in his mouth while he grilled, not sure if he was having his dinner while he grilled, or as my husband jokingly stated, he might have been trying out our entrees to ensure they were properly cooked. The pluses were the decent customer service we obtained from our waitress, and the fact they handed us hats, noise makers, and about a finger of Prosecco each, to await the new year. We did notice that people who arrived way after us (for only drinks at the bar), all were given hats, necklaces, and noisemakers, before we were handed ours. We were asked which we wanted, instead of being handed the same things the folks at the bar were offered. All in all, we don’t believe we’d make this kind of expense (at least not while in this economy), anytime soon. The experience was simply ok.

    Dined here for New Year's Eve and was not sure if we made a mistake since this was our first time dining at this restaurant. Well, I am glad we made this choice "The Grill" for our New Year's Eve restaurant. The service and food was outstanding and the staff went above and beyond to please every guess. We will definitely be dining here again.

    Loved this place! Went for Christmas dinner and everything was great. The servers were attentive and pleasant. We were able to access the pre fixe menu as well as the full menu. All of the food was properly seasoned and cooked to specifications. Great place for a group dinner.
