AUTHENTIC BRAZILIAN STEAKHOUSE
The Grill From Ipanema in Seattle is all about Rodízio, a popular Brazilian style of enjoying dinner among friends and a truly unique dining experience. Rodízio offers a wide variety of different cuts of grilled meats slowly roasted in specially designed charcoal grills. Served continuously by "passadores" or "gauchos" with food brought on skewers or carved to order tableside, servers make their rounds until guests can’t take another bite. Dining at The Grill From Ipanema also includes unlimited visits to the "mesa de frios" (cold table) for an array of cold cuts, cheeses, and exotic Brazilian specialties.

Completely overpriced!
The price is compared to fogo de chao' but the salad bar, ambience and food it's not comparable.

I enjoyed all the many meat options to try and the salad bar made great for matching cheese and salad with the meats. I would definitely come back again.

This is the third time I have dined here and it has been consistently good. A wide variety of meats cooked over charcoal. Several varieties of bacon wrapped meats as well as garlic shrimp were also prepared in the same manner. This is complimented by a fresh salad bar with alot of mixed salads, beets, meats, cheeses, dressings and cut fresh fruit. The hot bar had Brazilian style shrimp risotto, white rice and two soups (pumpkin and black bean). There were also fresh canolis for dessert. The food was all delicious and the service was very attentive by a large staff. Our waiter checked in on is frequently and was very pleasant. The entire staff was positive and very cordial. I will definitely be back.

Good food but not impressive service. The guys that brought the meat were very nice but our waiter was not attentive and blew us off several times when we tried to get his attention. Waited for at least 15 minutes for the check.

Fantastic food and great service. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys exotic meats. Don’t forget to ask for grilled pineapple.

Our Rodizio style landmark for comparison is Fogo de Chao, which we've had in Texas and Beverly Hills several times a year for 15 years. And Grill from Ipanema matched or surpassed Fogo on everything. GfI's Pao de Quijo is incredible, much better than Fogo, but they are a bit stingy with them.

Just about every seat in the house has spectacular views. But if you show up in a party of two, you risk being seated against a wall with no view. That's with reservations through OpenTable. Reserve for four or more, and preferably show up on any night other than Saturday. Also, your vegan friends probably will not enjoy this place. You've been warned.

But the food is great, the service is great, the ambience is great. It's over an hour of travel time to get to Seattle for us, and we'll definitely be back.

The server was very attentive but the people that kept going to tables with the meat kept skipping my table. About 15 minutes went by & they still had not stopped by my table but kept stopping by the tables around me. I had to call someone over to my table for them to finally acknowledge us

Food was good, cuts of meat seemed to be a little fatty and under cooked for us, but lots to choose from. We felt it was kinda over priced, but we used a Groupon. We went to experience, but would probably not return.

We had an awesome dining experience. The service was outstanding and everyone was friendly and helpful. Dirty plates were always being picked up. Easy to Uber from the ferry as we came from Bremerton.

So much good food! The salad/side dish bar was amazing, and the meat was tender, delicious, and never-ending! The service was excellent. Our favorites were the tri-tip and the provalone cheese steak, but every single bite was fantastic!

Feedback from all in party of 6:
Service was poor - had to keep looking out for servers to get what we wanted.
Lamb was tough. Shrimp were too dry. chicken was too salty, though was the better tasting food compared to others. Salad bar and its variety were good.
Wont revisit and will not recommend to others.

We were told for 53 bucks a person, we'd be treated to 18 meats

We saw 8 different meat skewers plus pineapple and shrimp

Very disappointing

I spent 285.00 plus tip for 4 adults who were only served less than half of what was promised....less than desireable Coffee that the waiter could not provide the source or name and burnt flan

This is one of our favorite restaurants and the service was great.

Shrimp wasn't as good as usual.

We'll still be back bit wanted to make sure we noted this concern.

Love this place, but my latest bday here ended poorly. Splitting the check shouldn’t be as difficult as it was, considering everyone got the same order (all-you-can-eat). I️ understand a 15 person table comes with difficulties, but should have been able to split the check (or warned they would r be able to before-hand) considering the only thing that needed tracking was drink orders. If too hard for one server, split the table up, but for as much money as we spent I️ was unhappy with the amount of work that was needed to divvy up the bill.
