Your food was excellent, our waiter Paul was awesome and those that took away our empty plates were very friendly and prompt. The issue we had that drastically reduced the ambiance was the way the hostesses dressed. What do the 4 of us remember from our experience.....the hostesses attire. Sorry but that area needs to be addressed.
I slept for 13 hours after eating here. . . Worth it.
I had good time and the food was fantastic. I recommended it to my coworkers and friends. I will go back and it probably be real soon.
Nice restaurant, great service and food. However, if you are pregnant I would suggest to wait until your not pregnant. The meat served is pink and you are limited to what meat you can eat. Also, I didn’t see that there was a Groupon discount. Just expect
to pay over $100 for two adults as they do charge one rate for food. Very pricey as it is overpriced.
We really enjoyed the whole atmosphere, and the food. great salad bar, don't fill up too much though, wait for the meats, 17 different types of meats. I thought most were very good, the bison was definitely my favorite, had that twice!!!! they also had live music, and that added to the already nice atmosphere. I think they are family owned and operated and all staff that we encountered were amazing!!!
What a fantastic find for lunch or dinner! Tucked inside a quiet entry, the restaurant and staff were amazing. The food was delicious, too! Highly recommend and will plan to visit again!
I was really excited to go because I love Brazilian steakhouses, I hadn’t been to one in Seattle yet and thought it was time. The food was good not great and they only gave a small sampling of some of my favorites I.E.(Brazilian cheese bread, fried plantains) There was no pricing for the food only the drinks, I expected to pay a couple hundred for the meal but getting a $320 tab without tip was a little shocking. Love the music and scenery but probably not going back. I would recommend for people that don’t have a bottom to their checking account.
Great food, great atmosphere, service was stellar with our water never getting close to being low and almost drowning in meat. Took my girlfriend here previously before she announced to me that she wanted to go back and so we marked her birthday with two of her friends at The Grill From Ipanema. Everything makes the meal so very worth it and we will be looking forward to coming back again soon.
The ambiance of the restaurant was very nice - lively and upbeat, with a live musician performing covers of songs from all over the place and even taking requests! Reservations are definitely needed - people who turned up at the same time we did were asked to wait an hour for a table. Even with the reservation, we had to wait 15 minutes past our reserved time until we were seated, however you do not order anything off of the menu (other than drinks) so we didn't have to wait for food.
The food was very good, although it was also very salty, hence the four-stars for food. There is a very large selection of meats, each different and each very tasty! Be warned though, a lot of the beef-options are only cooked rare to very-rare, at least on the night that we went. The salad bar is a great place to eat lighter dishes, although some of the options there were also very salty.
The service was outstanding. Our server, Miguel, was to notch, and accomadated all of our needs, as well as explaining how the restaurant worked. He even took note that it was our anniversary, and brought out a special dessert. Thanks Miguel!
The value of the restaurant is so-so - yes it is all you can eat but it is expensive considering you really fill up on the salad bar. It's good because you can try all sorts of different cuts of meat, and each one tastes different. We had a Groupon for the dinner, which helped out, although for the price-per-head (especially if you order drinks) there are much better values around.
All in all a very, very pleasent evening! The biggest standout was the service, which was top notch!
Fun place for any group size! Definitely not a place you can come to often for health reasons (soooo much salt and meat), but this is a fun group experience for the occasional get-together. Good variety of meat options, some prepared better than others, all pretty tasty. Great waitstaff and customer service.
Would go back again but I would have to say the meat was just okay.
i really wanted this dinner to be so much better than it was.
The selection of meats was decent, however the meats themselves were rather tasteless, really undercooked and generally poor cuts of meat.
The service was decent, the poor guy providing dinner entertainment was trying to get way more buy in from the 6pm crowd than was realistic however which was sad to watch.
The desserts were probably the only high point of the night. I would recommend those, but for $150 for two people, i would have expected a better selection at the salad bar, and better cuts of meat. And more than two of the little cheese filled dough ball things. The grilled pineapple was on point however.
Staff were very helpful! The place was a little too crowded for my taste. Tables were too close together. No room to stretch out and be as comfortable as possible. I was also hoping for a wider variety in selections of meat. This was my first and also will be my last time visiting. First impressions are lasting.
It was a very unique dining experience. All the different skewers were perfectly cooked. You never run out of options. It was an awesome dinner, and we will be going back.
The salad bar offered many selections of fruits, vegetables and starches. I loved the way the servers came to the table and offered choices of steak, pork, chicken and lamb. We will definitely go again!
Food was fantastic, service was amazing and she didn’t cringe when I told her we had a Groupon. Will be back.
Excellent!!! Everything was wonderful. Service is superb food is amazing and the atmosphere is great. We really enjoyed every aspect of our experience.
Good food and great vibe. You can't beat the live musician during the weekends. He is pretty amaze-balls!
Came here for a friend's get together and had a fantastic time. Food was amazing and great price for it all.
Always friendly and happy to see us! Great food! Great service!!
This was our first time at dinner. There was a gentleman who was singing and the sound and volume were perfect for the room. That was a nice surprise. The only things I would say were not as up to par as we expected were a few cuts of meat that came around as the place got busier were not cooked all the way. I say this only because I have had the same cuts several times at lunch rodizio and the bacon was not raw, kind of gross. Second, although we called in advance to give them time to work the logistics, we had a service dog and a wheelchair. This held us up for about 5 minutes while they thought about the best place for us, which I appreciate, but this is why I called in advance. The spot they chose while nice, was by the window. There truly is not space between the chairs for a very large person much less a wheelchair. We managed, but on our own saw many other places much more suited for both the dog and the chair. The dog lays under the chair, so there is no extra space taken there. I would just suggest that they take a look over the layout and maybe designate a few table for this very issue, so that in the future there is no confusion. At the end of this all, we will be back. Love this place and all the staff were so helpful and wonderful.
Quality was good but the Cuts were smaller than other restaurants of same type and servers were not coming by as often .... drinks took extra long time
Every time I eat at a buffet I promise it is my last... I need to keep that promise. The very limited salad bar food was truly lacking in presentation and taste. I tried about 10 meats and with one exception they were not flavorful or cooked properly, either over done or raw. Simply not quality meat. The single seafood, shrimp, was limited and flavorless. Our party of four were all subject to digestive issues and.... we were overcharged by $70. I have dined at 6 or more ‘Rodizio’ style restaurants, this was the most disappointing.
Bartender was pleasant.
The time in between the servers bringing around the meats was ridiculous. To only cut off tiny portions and then have to wait 10 min for another waiter to come around with a different meat was seriously the worst. This was in no way worth 135.00 and I wish I had just gone somewhere else and at least gotten a full steak for the same price as I paid for table scraps at this place.
Mediocre quality at a very high price. $33.00 for the salad bar!!
Caparinha was made with limeade not fresh lime juice and was undrinkable in my opinion.
One of the best dining experiences in Seattle. Both the food and the service were exemplary. We can't wait to go back!
The food was authentic, and the atomosphere was a blast! We sat close to the performer and usually I wouldn't prefer that, but he was very engaging and fun! We loved the open salad bar to compliment all the meats, and the fried bananas were a must! There was nothing less than spectacular. The price is very reasonable for the quality of food, and the staff were very kind and quick. They were at maximum occupancy, and still I felt like I was getting better service than most dead restaurants. We will totally be back soon!
Our meal was great but there was an automatic 18% gratuity added to our bill (party of 6). It was on the bill as a line item and our server did not mention it to us. He got double tipped and it definitely soured the experience for us when we looked at the receipt closer the next day.
We went here a couple years ago and everything was fantastic. This time around, however, the some meats were grisly and the filet was well done!! Well done!! Considering it's about $130-$150 for two people, I'll go elsewhere next time.
We went here for a birthday lunch. The meat was well prepared as always. I wished the salad bar would have had more variety. The fruit was nice and fresh. Our waitress was awesome and we had an overall good time. Well worth the drive from Tacoma.
The price is compared to fogo de chao' but the salad bar, ambience and food it's not comparable.
I enjoyed all the many meat options to try and the salad bar made great for matching cheese and salad with the meats. I would definitely come back again.
Great service and awesome food!
This is the third time I have dined here and it has been consistently good. A wide variety of meats cooked over charcoal. Several varieties of bacon wrapped meats as well as garlic shrimp were also prepared in the same manner. This is complimented by a fresh salad bar with alot of mixed salads, beets, meats, cheeses, dressings and cut fresh fruit. The hot bar had Brazilian style shrimp risotto, white rice and two soups (pumpkin and black bean). There were also fresh canolis for dessert. The food was all delicious and the service was very attentive by a large staff. Our waiter checked in on is frequently and was very pleasant. The entire staff was positive and very cordial. I will definitely be back.
Good food but not impressive service. The guys that brought the meat were very nice but our waiter was not attentive and blew us off several times when we tried to get his attention. Waited for at least 15 minutes for the check.
please do not go
please do not go
please do not go this restaurant
Fantastic food and great service. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys exotic meats. Don’t forget to ask for grilled pineapple.
Our Rodizio style landmark for comparison is Fogo de Chao, which we've had in Texas and Beverly Hills several times a year for 15 years. And Grill from Ipanema matched or surpassed Fogo on everything. GfI's Pao de Quijo is incredible, much better than Fogo, but they are a bit stingy with them.
Just about every seat in the house has spectacular views. But if you show up in a party of two, you risk being seated against a wall with no view. That's with reservations through OpenTable. Reserve for four or more, and preferably show up on any night other than Saturday. Also, your vegan friends probably will not enjoy this place. You've been warned.
But the food is great, the service is great, the ambience is great. It's over an hour of travel time to get to Seattle for us, and we'll definitely be back.
The server was very attentive but the people that kept going to tables with the meat kept skipping my table. About 15 minutes went by & they still had not stopped by my table but kept stopping by the tables around me. I had to call someone over to my table for them to finally acknowledge us
Great selection of delicious meats. Good choices of sides. Great service :)
