We had a nice time having lunch at The Grill at the Boulders Resort. Our server Alex was very friendly, helpful, attentive and professional. The food was good. The restaurant was quiet, and we expected exactly that, since it’s in the middle of our super hot Arizona summer. The town of Carefree doesn’t have many restaurants left, so having this location as an option is great. Also, this was our first time at this restaurant. So we hope that by the next time we go, they will have more options of veggies sides to go with the salads, and, or sandwiches. Overall we were pleased. Thanks to Alex for an outstanding service! We’ll be back! Thanks again!

I live less than one mile from here and am a club member. We know this place has gone downhill with service. Tonight, we were sat for our reservation and were not even greeted with a water for 15 minutes. We got up and left and none of the staff asked why on our way out. It was not crowded and there was probably a ratio of 1 server for every 2 tables. We went to Spotted Donkey instead where the service is so much better. I would not recommend the Grill to anyone at this point. Again....we live here and am cautioning hotel guests at the Hilton to beware before putting up with this level of poor service.

The resort assumes you can find the restaurant from a vague "about a half mile down the road." The only arrow directing to the restaurant we saw was after we had already gone past. The restaurant is hidden inside the golf area with no signs outside. We were met in the parking lot by a couple asking if we knew where the restaurant was. All evident signs from the parking lot were no admittance and employees only. Seriously, is it too much to ask for directional signs other than related to casita locations?

Love the food and service. Pricey but I love being served attentively and we were so pleased with the delicious meal. Lovely bread and scallops were perfectly cooked. Fresh spinach salad was fun to eat and the cauliflower soup was smooth and tasty. Recommend.

We arrived early got seated right away, they weren’t busy. We ordered a burger and a salad right away, she brought our beverages and we sat waiting for over 50 minutes. After we saw our waitress serve a party of four their meals that were seated 10 to 15 minutes after us we left, went to a near by restaurant that was even busier, got seated, ordered, ate and paid the bill in 40 minutes… 10 minutes quicker than we sat waiting for our meals. It’s our second time unsatisfied with this Restuarant. We’re done.

This was my first visit - I wanted it to be a special lunch because my niece and her husband whom I hadn't seen in a long time, were in town. It was, and it was all that I hoped - we were seated overlooking fantastic view, food and service were excellent, and we had time to relax and talk - were not rushed out.

Very good service and atmosphere. Three of our meals were excellent but one was below expectation for a simple salad. Only issue was we were charged for two bottles of wine when we only had one. Fortunately we caught it on reviewing the bill.

The service was very slow and not attentive. Our actual server only saw us one time, and that was to put in our order. We had to ask someone to order our drinks, and no one checked on how our food was. We also had to grab someone to refill our sodas. And then also had to wait at the bar, then grab our server to close out our tab. We asked the waiter for recommendations and he was not making anything sound very good. This was like no other restaurant we’ve experienced at a Hilton affiliated resort. Very disappointing. Great view of the golf course though!

Took 45 mins to get an appetizer and another 45 to get the entries. Auto added a 20% gratuity for a party of six. Some food came out cold and was low quality. To sum it up - terrible service, overpriced and food was bad. Avoid this place. They should be embarrassed.

The Grill at The Boulders is in a gorgeous setting. On previous visits, we have eaten in a room that allowed to enjoy that view. This time, we were disappointed that room was unavailable. The service was excellent.

Too expensive!!! We sat on the patio, pretty views but cold. No heaters! Unfortunately there was a loud bachelor party next to us, very noisy. Food was good.

Food is very average at best Seems staff try hard but you get the feeling little to no training maitre d came and asked us if everything was ok but I would suggest they do that after you have eaten not before 😂 And then I could have mentioned most of the food served was cold Overall hadnt been there for 10 years and now I can remember why ps looks exactly the same as it did then :

Horrible! I made reservations for my wife and I for V-Day for 7:30 PM: We arrived at 7:20 PM. It started with a unique experience at the gate of the resort - the man working was not friendly and odd in behavior. We checked in with the hostess who told us that we would be seated at 7:30 or 7:35 PM. Multiple other couples were also waiting. There were multiple issues identified right away. The staff was having difficulty cleaning tables and resetting them as well. The Hostess was trying to help. I eventually returned to the hostess at 7:45 PM and she stated it could 20 minutes more realistically. I voiced my displeasure with that but she could not change the situation. At 7:55 Pm my wife approached the hostess stand again and demanded an answer about what was going on. The hostess said that they overbooked reservations - but a couple ahead of us refused a table in the "private room" and she could seat us there now. We accepted that and were seated. After about 10 minutes the waiter eventually approached and ask if we would like a wine list. We requested ice teas and he said he would be back. After another 10-15 minutes he returned with 2 glasses of tea and stated that he had to make tea that is why it took so long. We ordered are starter from the fixed menu and entrees. In the meantime they did bring bread and butter. The bread was basically 4 thin slices that was like a Pepperidge Farm loaf. We had a Valentine's Salad which was four pieces of red leaf lettuce with dehydrated strawberries, dressing and goat cheese. It tasted poorly and was very small. A different waiter showed up and was attempting to deliver 2 additional salads that were the next table's salads.Our original waiter eventually returned and ask how was our soup? Our entrees eventually arrived. Overall they were okay. My cauliflower with my steak was cold and uncooked. We had poor service with regards to refills as well. They ran out of desserts. $250 for trash.

Do not go here. Save your money and time and go somewhere else. All site staff are unprofessional and unhelpful. Due to the absolute lack of professionalism and competence, my Valentines day was ruined. I have since tried to reach out to management to remedy the situation to no success. Highly disappointed and will never be returning.

Waiter was good and cordial. It was towards the end of night he started getting busy and service started lacking. Food was bland at most. Left a lot to be desired. At that price range one would expect excellence. Family was visiting from out of town so we wanted to give them the best. Didn’t find it there.
