Great outside patio & amazing staff
We were celebrating a friends birthday and had a great time!
This was our second night of dining in the patio at the grill. The views are lovely and the staff overall tries really hard to do a good job but unfortunately (and perhaps COVID is a big part of this) the experience is full of misses. First night our filet mignon was ordered MR but came at best medium well. Second night we split a salad and pasta dish. No pepper offer for the salad (or on the table), and an hour of time between the salad and pasta. And pasta was over cooked. I asked the waiter why we had to wait so long and he feebly said their we large parties ahead of us. There were about six parties on the patio and only three in the dining room. (Not even half full).
If this is a result of struggling with COVID, I can give them a hall pass. But truthfully, it was disappointing.
Wonderful and had the chef special which was excellent!!!
Great outside area for breakfast . Awesome staff!
It was good.
Food was amazing, and service was great.
Excellent food. Great outdoor setting.
Food was cold and this place is was overpriced. Great views though and our server was very pleasant and at least she took 1 of 4 meals off the tab.
Wonderful dinner with family who were visiting from MN. Excellent service, delicious food and great view.
Everything from the wonderful view, fabulous service and delicious food was perfect! Ismir, our server, was excellent. He offered great recommendations and was perfectly attentive. We will be back!
excellent all around - food, service ambience. Thank you.
Lamb and sea bass were excellent as well as the crab cakes. However our waiter was overworked. No busers and very short-staffed. No one refilled our waters and our second glass of wine never arrived.
Our lunch experience at The Grill at Boulders was delightful. Food was delicious, nor Ethan ample servings, beautiful view, and for a leisurely lunch was excellent.
We did NOT dine at the Grill - we ended up with brunch at the Palo Verde as we were incorrectly seated by the receptionist for our reservation. Their error resulted in a $326 brunch bill for 3 adults for us - NOT what we were expecting!!!
They have refused to respond to my complaints about what I consider to be their responsibility in this error as it was our first time at the resort. The receptionist at the Palo Verde, where we mistakenly arrived, did NOT let us know that she did NOT have a reservation for us at this restaurant - she seated us immediately and NEVER said a word.
I consider this error to be entirely their responsibility and I want a full refund!
The food was very good but came in extremely small portions given the price.
Overall great food..and service was even better..would go back again
Had reservation but took 15 minutes to get seated. Had to get manager involved.
Amazing staff! Beautiful setting outside overlooking the golf course
Food is great, service impeccable & setting sublime
Service was efficient and friendly. The view of the golf course is beautiful, but the restaurant itself is nothing special. I ordered the hummus. It was not good. The vegetables seemed to have been just thrown on the plate and the celery had brown edges. My husband had the french dip and enjoyed it. The french fries were excellent. I feel that the menu is overpriced for the quality of the food.
EXPENSIVE! Cheeseburger for $21. Cobb salad $18; add chicken for $6 more. Drink refills ignored. Ambience was perfect, however. View unbeatable. Enjoyed our lunch. Great location.
Not a n there A game. Slow series for was ok not going back anytime soon.
Great staff. Kelsey, Carson. Salmon was great
Good food and nice views with good service 👍
We were a party of 4 on a Sunday evening. I've been there previously. It was an average experience. A little pricey for what you can get other nearby restaurants. My meal was a little disappointing (shrimp and grits and a bowl of French onion soup.) Others in our party were satisfied with their entrees. When the weather is good, it is very pleasant to sit outside and watch the golfers finish.
Great meal. Love the new outdoor patio overlooking the 18th hole of the south course. Great service. Loved the salmon dish and others liked the steak special. There was even a egret in a neighboring tree I had never seen that. Overall fun night.
After we were seated, we waited almost 20 minutes to be given a glass of water or to give our drink order. Waiters/waitresses passed our table numerous times, even making eye contact, and ignored us. After 20 minutes we got up and left.
A shame too, as the view was fantastic.
Great atmosphere and beautiful setting. Wonderful site for casual dinner with friends. Food was good and good value. Very friendly service
I enjoyed breakfast more than dinner. Eggs, potato wedges, fresh fruit. All very good. Dinner was a little bland and over-salted. Stayed there 2 nights and ate dinner here one night. It was okay, not great. Disappointed due to the price of the hotel accommodations and assumed dining would be on par, but not.
Understaffed, and mediocre food. But view was worth it.
dinner at the Grill was below par from the moment we entered the restaurant and were told by a snippy host he had given away our outdoor table (the hotel shuttle runs notoriously late at dinner time) and we had to argue. when we got outside there were 7 empty tables. the food was mediocre verging on unpleasant. there were no vegetables at all with my saddle of lamb so i asked for a side dish of veggies when i ordered. it arrived ten minutes after i finished eating, and was so salty it was inedible. the waitress explained the chef couldn't cook it at the same time as my entree because he was busy cooking dinner for "downstairs". the Grill itself was 80% empty. the waitress dropped a table setting of dishware with a huge clash, and shrugged it off as if normal. terribly disappointing, as the Boulders is a very nice hotel and we were very much looking forward to a decent meal after a tiring day.
Excellent service and food. ambiance was beautiful. I would highly recommend for a casual lunch or dinner.
First of all, we had a reservation at 7:30, when we arrived we were told it was gonna be 15-20 minute wait. We finally got sat at 8:00. We had indoor reservations and they sat us outside. It was a cool night, we were freezing all night. No heaters. They had a very small set menu, you could see big plies of dirty wine glasses and dirty plates. Servers kept making very loud noises with bringing the dirty dishes to the dirty dish bin. Food runners were running good to the wrong tables. Gave us filets twice. Staff & management seemed to not care much and just wanted to be done with the night. Then the set dessert we were suppose to get, they ran out of. They gave us another dessert which was okay, but really wanted the cheesecake. Then there is an automatic 20% gratuity charge for a party of 2. The service was horrible and I’ve been in the fine dining industry for 3 years. They did not take the service charge off when asked. Definitely will not be going back. No manager even did a table touch the entire meal.
we were not advised that the menue as limited for Valentine's day and the food and service were subpar
We went for Valentine's Day dinner. It was a pre-set menu with very few options. The options were fine, however, when we received our food it was inedible and had to be sent back. My filet which I ordered medium was beyond well done and my husband's Porkchop was so overcooked it was hard to cut and impossible to chew. With only 3 items on the menu for the evening, we hoped that at least they would be prepared properly. Including a couple of drinks, the bill came to roughly $300. While we were there we called and ordered food from one of our favorite restaurants and picked it up on the way home. Very disappointing.
Honestly, I thought I was making reservations at the restaurant. The grill was a complete disappointment. Zero atmosphere. A real let down for a Valentine's celebration. The food was okay. Nothing to rave about. I feel cheated.
What a wonderful staff and management! We had a small issue and they handled it like true professionals and their level of customer service was above what was expected!!
Food was excellent and great views!!
We will be back!!
