   Have been to Grill at Hacienda del Sol several times over 10 years. Food quality may have slipped a bit (tomahawk pork chop was a little over done for my order, but still not bad). Service was very good and ambience (especially sunset views) was excellent.

   Hacienda del Sol is our special occasion place. The restaurant is lovely, the food is delicious, and the service is excellent . It never disappoints.

   This place is beautiful and serene! We were accommodated for brunch and excited to check this place out. The food was good, not great, but good enough to go back for a future visit because there were some star items on the buffet (walnut crusted salmon, caprese penne, grilled veggies, waffles, bacon, cured meat & cheese, and scallop ceviche) that are worth having again. The desserts were awful sadly with some tasting as they were poorly reheated frozen items from IS Foods and the scones and muffins were so bad- it was a big disappointment when you want to cap off a meal with a delicious dessert. Our service was a joke and so bad for such a classy resort. We had to spoon feed our server and ask multiple times for each request. Getting water with lemon and coffee shouldn’t be as painful as it was. We almost got up to help ourselves it was that bad and frankly when you can eat a plate of food and are still waiting on your drink that is not ok. I was celebrating my birthday and marked that in my reservation. There was no acknowledgment at all and when we shared how disappointed we were in the dessert selection and that we were hoping to try the Audrey Hepburn brownie we had read about as part of the buffet she brought us out a brownie in a box on a plate that said “Happy Anniversary” and joked that she hoped this made up for our disappointment. The gesture was sweet, that doesn’t go unnoticed but since it was my birthday and the service was less than stellar this was kind of the straw that broke the camels back but we got a good laugh. All in all we will go back and give it another try but we also will request not to have this server again and we will know not to save room for dessert.

   Celebrating a friends birthday at breakfast and it was fantastic,fabulous and amazingly special! Everything was perfect! Beautiful views ,beautiful gardens beautiful interior! This deserves more than 5 stars. Highly recommend!

   Lamb shank was highly touted and deservedly so. I had filet that was overcooked but Justine jabbed another off the grill and had it in front of me in under 3 minutes. Impressive fix to the problem.

   Excellent service. Delicious food, though a bit pricey. Avoid the Prime rib special. You're in AZ - not the best cut of meat. Cocktails are a must! Ask for a table with a view!

   We were sat at a wall in the dining room. Even after asking to be by a window. And I think because I was with a couple teenagers. Other than the seating it was all good

   This visit was for late 3pm Easter Brunch. Instead of normal seating we were seated in ball room, large numbered tables were set with fake flowers, and buffet was unlike the normal Sunday brunch. Felt more like eating at your parents retirement home cafeteria. Asked if we could move to outdoor patio table but all the empty ones were still dirty. Quite a few missing dishes were set out after we were finished eating. Servers were very nice but inconsistent. Food and function decor was not up to the high end standards one would expect from such a nice hotel, especially at $105 per adult and 55 per child. Mimosas and other drinks were extra. Large print on menu indicated 22% gratuity automatically added on holidays. Beautiful hotel and grounds but this event just not close to worth the cost.

    Easter brunch at the restaurant was great. Nick provided great service with his team.
