The Grill and Tap Room at Shadow Lake is the featured establishment with lunch, dinner and bar service year round. the bar features 20 beers on tap and a seasonal cocktail list that features local products. The clubhouse facility overlooks the sparkling Shadow Lake”, a former crushed stone quarry (1920’s) before the site filled with spring water. In recent years, the lake was the local swimming hole until club founders, the Odenbach family, began construction of a golf course and club in 1977. Today’s facility is newly remodeled and showcases a new, open bar feel and warm, inviting dining room. Thousands of families have celebrated special moments on the grounds of this special location. In peak golf season, The Grill & Tap Room is open every morning with favorite char-broiled items and a menu full of treats for golfers. Shadow Lake is know for having some of the best chicken wings and fish fry dinners in Rochester! Give us a call for more information or to make reservations.

                                                                              They had a major heating problem in the main dining room - especially since it was only 10 degrees F outside. The heat would come on, but as soon as it stopped, ice cold air came out of the vents. A number of people asked to be moved. The staff tried numerous times to regulate this, but it never lasted for more than five minutes. My date ate with her winter coat on. The food and service was very good however.

                                                                              Being that it was Valentine's Day Everything thing was wonderful. We were not rushed in any way that is a plus . I had to send my meat back to be cooked a little more and it did not take long and it was then cooked perfect .. It was our 1st time there and we will be going back. We listened to the band after and they were wonderful not loud crazy music, but soothing and calming music with some songs you could dance fast or slow to. All in all it was a fun night and opened us up to a new place to go not far from home. Thank you for making it probably the best Valentine's I know I ever had.

                                                                              Newly remodeled. Had a window seat with a view of the fountain and golfers on the most beautiful day. Our server was super friendly. There were four at the table. Three ordererd salads that were heaped on the plate and well seasoned, but not drowning in dressing. The fourth person had a burger and fries. The burger was thick and prepared as requested. One member of our group had a walker and did have to go up four steps. Two members of the group were from NC where golf courses abound and they were impressed. Kudos.
