   Went for lunch, wonderful experience. Lunch menu great value for money, food was excellent, service quite remarkable, charming, friendly and attentive. Couldn't fault any part of the experience!

   We had a very enjoyable lunch at the Greyhound. The small snacks around the main meal were particularly interesting. Perhaps this is an area that the restaurant could work on. It's very encouraging to see a well thought out team and menu in a restaurant in the Home Counties. Hopefully the Greyhound will spark off a constellation of gastronomic restaurants and PUB's in the area.

   Could not beileve how good the evening went. The welcome was warm, the food was terrific, the decor and ambience great but the service was outstanding. When one looks back all I can say is that the Tasting Menu was fabulous and great value for money. The only thing that irritated me was that it has taken me too long to make my first visit but I can guarantee that I will be back again and again

   As always, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and evening at The Greyhound. The food, staff, and surroundings were absolutely amazing. We always feel like we are visiting family - Margriet, Daniel and the whole team go the extra mile to make sure everyone feels welcome and well looked after.    Excellent service, lots of nice little touches. Went for our wedding anniversary, we were greeted by all staff with well wishes and a card. Table service was excellent, waiter very knowledgeable about the food, friendly and helpful. Food was amazing, unfortunately we didn’t have room for dessert, so maybe next time we’ll work back from desserts.

   Could do with some background music in the garden. Please beware that the service charge of 12.5% will automatically be added to the bill. Having said that, the staff went over and beyond their duties and did a great job at feeling us welcomed and informed about the food & wine they were serving. We'll be back for sure.

    If you are looking for a special venue for a memorable meal then this is it. Food is exceptional, staff are first class and the whole place is superb. If the weather is good then sit outside, if not the seating inside is also excellent and the newly refurbished upstairs is looking really good. Definitely worth a visit.

    had the taster menu with matching wines food and wine very good,friendly server gave a small chat about each course and wine and really knew her stuff answering any follow up question we had, lovely leisurely evening

    Absolutely faultless as always! I’ve had the pleasure of dining here twice this week, once for lunch and the other dinner. The staff are so attentive, knowledgeable and most of all friendly. We had Hannah take care of us for lunch and she was a complete joy, Luca took very good care of us at dinner, he had a really lovely way about him. Tom was also so helpful and accommodating with our drinks. Dan was his wonderful bubbly self as always! The food was simply outstanding! We will definitely be back again very soon! Thank you for a wonderful culinary experience.

    A buzzing pub with a great atmosphere and friendly service. The beer (Windsor Knot) was a great pint and the food was superb. The set lunch at £30 for 2 courses and £35 for 3 courses was great value with some lovely additional touches like the amuse bouche and sorbet. If ever we find ourselves in the area again we’ll be sure to revisit.

    Wow what an absolutely lovely experience from start to finish. No complaints what so ever......nice greeting, dapper looking staff in their uniforms and so nice that the owners take time to have a little chat. Hats off to the chef, the food was amazing. Only sad thing is that Tom is moving on to ventures new....we wish you well but may see you back in the future ......Good luck. Looking forward to our next visit in a couple of weeks time and hope it will be as good as our first experience. Keep up the good work guys.....Well done all of you for making our anniversary one to remember.XX

    An absolutely fabulous evening. Such great attention to detail made a fabulous birthday evening. Brilliant Gurnard, hake & crab. Andrew and Luca could not have been more attentive. The new refurb upstairs is a spectacular success.

    We had the taster menu for an anniversary celebration. There were plenty of non-alcoholic options. There was a really warm welcome followed by an outstanding menu. Varied dishes that worked so beautifully together. The waiters were attentive without making us feel rushed. There were extra touches like the salt and pepper crisp before any of the courses, there was a delicious palate cleanser. All staff had signed a card wishing us a happy anniversary, they presented us with a cake gift and biscuits to mark the occasion. I would highly recommend the Greyhound Pub for any special occasion. They really know how to make it special and I would definitely eat there again. Thank you all so much ❤

    My evening eating here was very pleasant. The staff were absolutely great, very knowledgeable about the food and polite. The food was incredible, we had the taster menu. The cured hake was the only thing we found not to our liking but was still very nice either way.

    Simply the most lovely dining experience I’ve had in ages. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. We took my mother-in-law for her birthday lunch but also had my 5-year old and 2-year old with us, and all the staff made us feel special and welcome. The food was beautiful and cooked to perfection, there is not a single thing we can fault. We did the lunch menu, which was incredibly good value, but will also be back to try the tasting menu as soon as we can.

    We had the most wonderful evening celebrating my husband’s birthday and our friends anniversary. The food was outstanding, so much so my husband had 2 helpings of his crab starter, our waitress Lauren was amazing, hosts were amazing. Can’t wait to go back the food was out of this world.     This is the second time I’ve attended this restaurant and I can safely so I’m going to be making it a regular visit. It’s one of the best meals and service I’ve experienced in years. Phoned multiple friends and family to recommend it today. Staff are fantastic, truly kind and made it a very memorable evening. And as for the food, well it’s utterly stunning. If you’re thinking about your next restaurant to try, take my word and book this place! You will not regret it
