Natalie and her team of chefs pride themselves on the taste and quality of the food from our kitchens. We use fresh, local ingredients whenever possible, offering an extensive variety of meals and snacks. See our seasonal menu.

It's good, honest, home-cooked, traditional fare of the kind most of us love to eat but that's now so often missing from the menus of many fancy restaurants.

For your special occasions or get togethers you can book exclusive use of our separate Dining Room where we can accommodate up to 30 people for a sit-down meal.

Dogs are allowed in our top bar so you are able to enjoy a meal and a drink or two with your pet. You can also sit outside in our beautiful garden anytime of the year, we have plenty of outdoor seating with patio heaters.

We rate all the restaurants that we visit and write comments in a book so we know whether to come back in the future. These are ours for your restaurant. We loved the restaurant and the food was fantastic and value for the money. Halloumi and garlic mushrooms starters were to die for. The lasagne and the tai curry were by far the best that we have eaten. The young lad with the tattoos was exceptional and at his job and communication was fantastic with him. The service was very slow here. And we had to ask when our starters were coming Having said that last comment I would still highly recommend this one. Definitely use this restaurant again. Thank you 8/10

We visited for an Anniversary meal with family and as usual everything was perfect. Kelly is the perfect host and the new staff were great. Food was delicious and I just love the atmosphere in the pub.

Probably the best steak and kidney pie and the best sea bass we have had for many years. Superbly cooked and full of flavour. Reasonably priced and excellent service. we shall return

Yet again, another exceptional evening at the Greyhound. It never disappoints, excellent service, food and ambience. Keep up the great work. Even got to see a live badger on our drive home through the country lanes, bonus!

Good food, with several vegetarian options. We sat outside at the back. Very hot, but parasol. Beautiful grounds. Friendly and helpful staff. Thanks to the Greyhound team. We would certainly visit again.

3rd time here, in a party of 3. Food was faultless all round and a place I highly recommend. Maybe a little understaffed, not that was an issue, everyone was very welcoming and it was a Monday lunchtime! Wouldn’t hesitate in coming back, thank you.

What a superb venue. The staff are extremely hospitable and the chef is excellent. Delicious food in a lovely setting - highly recommended!

Not the best experience against previous visits, the restaurant and bar was quiet and the service was still not great. Welcome was not as usually received, even though we had booked, gentleman who met us was not prepared for our table to arrive! Food took a very long time to arrive, steaks were good but the chicken burgers were very over cooked. We did not make a fuss as we ordered three of them for our group and after the initial long wait…which was not required due to customer levels, it would not of been worth our time. We were all very disappointed with the whole experience. Come on Greyhound please get your great service and food standards back to normal!
