Varied menu, great combination of ingredients... Good portion size. Attentive and friendly staff. My first visit there, but will not be my last.

We had an amazing time and amazing meal - best Sunday roast! We brough our dog,Daisy and she was also cared for by the staff. Lara and the other man (we didn’t get to get his name) were amazing. The interior is very good,too. We’re definitely coming back!

The Sunday roast was absolutely delicious and the service was A*. Really appreciated the birthday dessert, the whole table left super happy and full to the brim!

Exceptional food and excellent service throughout the evening. Would recommend any fish lovers to visit on a Friday for the excellent Fish Friday. We will diffinatly be visiting on a Friday again.

I wanted to use a voucher (see below), but was told I had to write to Brucan. I felt that it was a little dismissive. I. Wasn’t sure that the waiter understood. Perhaps he was just in a hurry. A small group of us were in the local area and were looking for a lovely idyllic pub to have some amazing food. It did not disappoint. The food was incredible and the drinks were brilliant. Especially the cocktails! Already looking forward to my next visit.

Although a hot day we decided to walk to the Greyhound for an early dinner on Thursday (18:00) and were thankful of the effective air conditioning. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the food and drinks were really good and reasonably priced with lots of specials on offer. It was a pleasant surprise to have a good range of english wine to choose from including the Simpsons Railway Hill Rose which was delicious.
