Owned and managed by husband-and-wife team, Daniel Crump MCA and Margriet Vandezande-Crump, the restaurant was crowned the 24/25 AA Restaurant of the Year (England).
Based in a 17th century coaching inn in the heart of Beaconsfield Old Town, it has also been voted an OpenTable Diners’ Choice, one of the most romantic restaurants in the UK, and named among the top 100 restaurants in the country by SquareMeal.
The Grade II-listed venue has a variety of spaces where guests can enjoy a meal or drink.
The various menus showcase a commitment to using the best seasonal British produce available, including that grown in the kitchen garden. Vegans, vegetarians and guests with dietary requirements receive an equally special dining experience.
The Greyhound also has a diverse wine list, which won an AA Notable Wine List Award. As well as the wine list developed by Margriet, who is certified with the Court of Master Sommeliers, there is also a wide range of international beers.

    Superb in all respects. Wonderful innovative and delicious food, an almost unbelievable quality of friendly, warm but thoroughly professional service and a cosy, charming ambience enhanced by soft background music. It is not at the cheaper end of the spectrum but, for such a lovely dining experience, it does represent excellent value. At The Greyhound you experience Michelin Star (how they they not been awarded one?) quality at around half the price. Even ignoring the cost differential, I would always choose this place over over the number of Michelin starred restaurants in my catchment area.

    A truly wonderful dining experience,from start to finish. A fabulous welcome and service ( throughout the evening),an inventive and inviting menu which was delicious to eat. Beautifully cooked meat and fish,expertly seasoned with glossy sauces packed with flavour. Smiling happy staff with one young man in particular who looked joyous. We have already booked again and will continue to do so.

    We had a lovely tasting menu experience. It wasn't just about the food. All the staff were charming and knowledgeable. We will definitely return.

    Very special, Took an old friend (Canadian) whom. I trained with ( 1972”!) - who was made very welcome. Dan gave her a tour of the entire restaurant inside and out . Very impressed
