Owned and managed by husband-and-wife team, Daniel Crump MCA and Margriet Vandezande-Crump, the restaurant was crowned the 24/25 AA Restaurant of the Year (England).
Based in a 17th century coaching inn in the heart of Beaconsfield Old Town, it has also been voted an OpenTable Diners’ Choice, one of the most romantic restaurants in the UK, and named among the top 100 restaurants in the country by SquareMeal.
The Grade II-listed venue has a variety of spaces where guests can enjoy a meal or drink.
The various menus showcase a commitment to using the best seasonal British produce available, including that grown in the kitchen garden. Vegans, vegetarians and guests with dietary requirements receive an equally special dining experience.
The Greyhound also has a diverse wine list, which won an AA Notable Wine List Award. As well as the wine list developed by Margriet, who is certified with the Court of Master Sommeliers, there is also a wide range of international beers.

    If you want a treat - head to the Greyhound. From the moment you walk in the service is impeccable without being too fussy. The staff are trained every day around the menu. The food is delicious...not to mention all the tasty little bites and palette cleansers in between. It's not cheap but you get what you pay for and you can decide how much you want to spend with a great value and varied set meal, a' la carte or tasting menu. Either way, you always leave feeling you have had an all round fantastic dining experience...highly recommend.

    We had a really lovely meal celebrating my husband’s 50th birthday. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was just amazing. The restaurant is really nicely decorated and we were given a tour of the restaurant, kitchen and kitchen garden at the end which we thought was a really nice touch. One of the reasons we picked this restaurant was that my husband doesn’t eat red meat - their menu had just one red meat dish for starter or main and the rest was fish, chicken or vegetarian so it gave him plenty of options, which is unusual. It’s normally the other way around. The only thing I didn’t like which felt really out of place for me were the plastic plants on the tables outside. Especially as the garden and kitchen garden was obviously well cared for, they just felt a little cheap. But, overall, thank you for a really lovely evening and for making a fuss of my husband. We’ll definitely be returning!

    Wow - what an absolutely amazing meal. Having chosen the tasting menu, including the truffle dish, every course was so beautifully cooked, the mussels were to die for, the best I've ever tasted, so delicate and tasty. The staff are so welcoming and friendly, like a family. Spotless everywhere. The head waiter, Rohit, was very informative and gave us a tour of the entire restaurant, we saw the garden with produce used for the kitchen, and we met and chatted with the chefs, too. Definitely worthy of their Michelin inclusion. For us, it's been the best meal out ever, and we will certainly be returning!

    The Greyhound is as close to perfection as you will ever get at a fine dining restaurant anywhere. The divine food. incredible service and lovely ambience combine to deliver a wonderful unrushed (only one sitting) dining experience and, into the bargain, at great value. My wife and I experienced this on Saturday and were blown away,

    Service and food excellent amazing. However, a customer came in with the dog, even though the dog was well behaved What if every customer brought in a dog? I don’t like the idea of dogs in restaurants.

    Outstandingly good as always on every return visit. Extremely high standard in literally every respect - both kitchen and front of house. Surely Michelin must catch up soon?
