Beautiful place. We enjoyed a delicious anniversary brunch. Excellent server. Very nice acoustical guitar entertainment. A+
The Gregory was amazing. My husband and I was celebrating our 11 year anniversary. The atmosphere was very inviting, the food was superb and our waiter was awesome. I will most definitely be returning, and I will also be referring this restaurant to my family and friends ...
The staff was very accomodating and friendly. The food definitely did not miss the mark.
The atmosphere was great, food was delicious and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Will definitely go there again, the bottom mimosas were enjoyable also.
Service was slow and waiter was not attentive enough. This may be more of the post COVID issues in the hospitality industry, but it definitely could’ve been better. Food was very good, very fairly priced in a cool ambiance. The bar needs to be better stocked, but is a place I will try again for a pregame drink and meal.
Love eating at the Gregory! Christina, our server, was AMAZING. She recommended the Nola shrimp and Chicken & waffles, which were AMAZING.
The service was amazing they where very attentive. As well as reading my full reservation and surprising the table with cheesecake for my girlfriends party i was extremely grateful.
Delicious dinner with friends on a Friday night!
Loved everything about it!!!!
Food is delicious! Drinks are strong! Service was top notch! Really enjoyed our second visit here and can’t wait to come back!
Food and service was great. My wife and I intend to make it our regular stop when we visit Baton Rouge
A good hotel restaurant. Atmosphere is open in the lobby/bar/restaurant all part of one very large room. They seem to pull this off pretty well but if you're looking for an intimate setting, this isn't it. Having said that, it is loud and distracting. Food and service were both very good.
If I had to pick a restaurant, it would be The Gregory all the time. The food and seasoning was amazing! Drinks are satisfying which you only need one! Everytime I visit BR, I make it a point to have dinner or drinks at this Restaurant. Top 10 for sure.
The food was very good! We had brunch. I had the NOLA Shrimp and my mom had the chicken and waffles. The pepper jelly on the her chicken was delicious! Overall good experience and superb service!
Food was excellent, but our server Christine was beyond amazing. I've never had such a fantastic dining experience.
Our server was amazing. The restaurant was packed and when we looked around, we did not see anyway but our waitress. You would never have known how busy she was from the attention we received. I would (and will) go back again when I am in Baton Rouge.
We went for my friends birthday! I hostess was so sweet and funny. Our waitress Priscilla was very helpful and very detail oriented. I appreciate it how they did a cake for my friend and record I seen a happy birthday. Additionally the flatbreads were fantastic and we wanted to split something to put in two separate bowls for us they were really really nice. I highly recommend it
The food was excellent. The server started off wrong and then seemed to forget about us after the initial contact.
A gifted chef, a lovely open dining room and kitchen, an excellent knowledgeable wait person ( her name is Christine), DELICIOUS dinner, a menu that uses fresh ingredients...you couldn't ask for a better dining experience. I had the fish of the day, Corvina, seated on a bed of fettuccine, with spinach and blistered tomatoes and a lovely miso sauce for that added umami...great experience...
A not so hidden gem of the Baton Rouge restaurant scene. The food was outstanding (frog legs, duck, and shrimp tortellini) and the cocktails were a perfect match to our delicious dinner. Service was friendly and caring. Highly recommended for a date night with your loved one.
Love The Gregory! Perfect for date night. Drinks are great and the food is delicious
Visiting from out of town
Food and Service was outstanding! Atmosphere needs improvement. In my opinion, this is primarily due to the restaurant being located in the lobby with no dividing area to separate it from the lobby. This could be accomplished with a glass partitions or even strategically place plants. If The Gregory were to make these improvements, this would greatly improve the overall experience.
Overall meal was very good. I really love the decor of the restaurant.
A quiet elegant place for a nice meal! The setting is beautiful, the service is excellent and the food is good!
Everything was great. The poor waiter got triple sat and he handled it great, but he was working alone and all the tables were full. Totally not his fault. Poor scheduling on a Friday night.
Surprised my fiancé with dinner here with another couple friend of ours and it’s was amazing! Great service. The food was incredible and we will definitely be back!
Great anniversary selection! Food was superb, servers were attentive, overall atmosphere was comfortable and romantic. We would definitely stay here and eat here again!!
It was a lil busy, a couple of babies, but they were cute a well behaved.

It's ok but little over priced for a hotel lobby restaurant. Small portions and not a fan of odd martini glasses but service was good and very nice.
Everything was awesome until they sat a table of 8-10 ladies next to us. They had been having cocktails at the bar for a while. They were very loud. Perhaps in the future the restaurant should consider isolating larger parties from the diners trying to eat and carry on a normal not se level conversation.
This was my first time dining at The Gregory. I was very impressed with the atmosphere and ambience. The wait staff were very friendly and especially accommodating. I appreciated that the menu was not very extensive, but had a great variety of dishes to choose from. Our waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu and was very honest in her recommendations (I especially appreciated that when I asked her recommendation between a $29 and a $62 entrée, she recommended the less expensive one and gave her personal reasoning--honesty is most appreciated!).
While the ambience of the restaurant was quaint but open, the tables are situated in an open atmosphere of the hotel lobby. We dined on a Sunday evening, which partially explains why it was nice and quiet for the most part. However, the hotel bar is right next to the tables, making for a rowdy scene when some of the bar customers had had a few drinks. I think this is worth noting, although I admit I did not realize the bar was in such open and close proximity to the tables.
Overall, I was pleased with the experience and would recommend The Gregory to anyone looking for a fine dining in downtown Baton Rouge!
Excellent ambience and food. Would definitely return.
Everything was fresh and delicious. The food is not particularly creative, but I'd guess it's better from an innovation standpoint than other upscale restaurants in town. The drinks, service, and ambiance, however, made up for any weaknesses in the food. All were exceptional. And although pricey, it was not over-priced unlike so many hotel restaurants.
We evacuated to BR from Lake Charles due to hurricane Laura. We were graciously welcomed by all and we felt like family. The food was excellent and our waiter, Ryan, quite personable. We plan to dine again before returning home.
The ribeye that I ordered was medium rare on the inside and burnt on the outside from what was ordered (well done). The waiter returned it to the kitchen for a more thorough cooking, but it was more burnt and still pink on the inside. For a $70 steak, it wasn’t done correctly and I had to absorb the total cost. I was done when it was returned to the table.
The waiter Logan was outstanding! The fish I ordered was seasoned to perfection! Our drinks were awesome as well!!
