The Greene Turtle Sports Bar & Grille - Rehoboth Beach
Service was great. Our server "T" was friendly. The restaurant is dirty. Garbage on the floor. Table was dirty. Hair found in food and we paid our bill and left.
If weather is cooperative, be sure to request an outside table...it's the "Best" view in Rehoboth Beach....
Great way to experience the Rehoboth boardwalk from a safe distance and space. Excellent service.
Food was good. Great view of the beach. Great service
I do not recommend this if you are being cautious about COVID. I did not feel that they were doing a good job of cleaning between seatings and had two 50-tops inside. It was really loud outside with the music blasting in our ears. The food was dry and gross. I wish I had left before eating the whole meal.
The waitress was terrible. She did not come back to the table often to check on beverages. We wanted the roof opened because birds were everywhere but she never did. We asked someone else. She brought us filthy salt and pepper shakers and also used paper menu. So unsanitary for Delawares current Covid 19 stays. I won't go back
It was grand. Perfect time catching up with old friends.
Great place to eat. Very accomodating. Easy to make reservations and nice atmosphere.
Accommodated our special request, terrific service, food, atmosphere, handling challenges of Covid amazingly well.
Nothing worse than ordering something and when it comes out being advised they were out of one of the ingredients. The customer should be told in advance. We both ordered cowboy burgers and when they were brought out were informed they were out of onion straws. The onion straws were the main reason we order that burger. We usually have a good experience at this location.
Great view of ocean & boardwalk from outdoor balcony.
Everything was wonderful! We loved sitting on the roof! Loaded tater tots we our favorite!! We will definitely visit again when in town!
Due to COVID-19, the restaurant closed at 9PM on a Friday night. We made a reservation on Open Table for 8PM (there were 8:15 reservations available also). Our server didn’t tell us the kitchen and bar were closing soon and told us we were “in luck” because we got our drink orders in before last call. Everything was being cleaned up, floors mopped, chairs put on tables as we finished our food (it was 8:45). Willing to give a pass due to the situation, but if you’re going to offer 8PM and 8:15PM reservations, the customer expects they should be able to eat and drink without being shuffled out the door.
Dru was lovely
We had Drew as our server and he was great. He was super friendly and courteous and made sure to make us aware from the beginning that the kitchen was behind due to being short staffed. He continuously checked in on us making sure to clear our plates and refilled our beverages. We are here for the week and will request to be sat in his section!
The food and service was great! Very friendly staff and a great atmosphere.
Seated exactly when our reservation was due. Had great view of boardwalk as we sat outside on 2FL balcony. Food was the typical pub-grub and realized that after eating the “crab dip”. It was 25% cheese, 25% mayo, 45% something else, and about 5% crab shreds. Menu seemed limited, but we were happy to dine out during the Chinese virus outbreak. Service was fine. The food was the weakest link on this dining experience.
Drinks were terrible and over priced. Food came out disgusting. Took two bites of boneless chicken and knew something was wrong. We were with a group of 9 and I don’t think anyone enjoyed their meal or their drinks. Bill came and it was wrong. Would not go back
This was my first visit to The Green Turtle restaurant. The service was great and the food was great. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. I would recommend this restaurant to any of my friends. I will return in the future.
I made an advance reservation for 6 "outside" thinking my table would be over-looking the boardwalk and excited to be able to end my day @ the beach this way...when I checked in w/my party of six we were told to go outside at the picnic tables and someone would meet us. I was thinking it was a Covid-19 waiting area...unbeknownst to me, it was a parking lot set up for the restaurant's outdoor dining. I wish I would have "said something" however my party and I sat down in a shaded area and were waited on probably w/in 10-15 mins. I would like to thank the manager who did come to my table. My boyfriend did say something to the mgr (when he went inside to use the upstairs restroom) and he did follow-up, however it was the time the food was delivered. We declined the offer to accommodate our sitting. In regards to the food, someone's crabcake (the patron declined to inform the staff) was cold. To me it looked un-cooked, but it was not my place to say anything other than "why don't you tell the mgr, he is standing right here". My rockfish sandwich served with guacamole, was not gauc! It was reddish and runny, like a salsa of some sort, I too declined to say anything. I do now have the opportunity to voice my opinion and thankful to do so.
Beyond the good view of the ocean, this place is a bit of a “blah” and not worth the price. Nothing great and it is mostly processsed, even the burgers were bland and super round out of the freezer. Out of 4 different restaurants we visited this week so far for dinner, it was the most most expensive and the most bland. The service was OK but not great. This place has potential to be good, a sports bar on the beach but doesn’t deliver. Lots of far better options and better value too.
Had a reservation but were still sat 30 minutes later. Servers very overworked and didn’t get our drinks until about another 30 minutes. Food was very slow but entrees came out before appetizers were done.
The kitchen and overall management need to step up their game. The servers are friendly and trying to do their best. Food tastes pretty decent though inconsistent (broccoli shouldn’t be raw on the entree). The manager did attend to our challenges and provided a goodwill gesture.
Waitress was very inattentive and cold, not friendly at all. My sandwich was raw. I was very disappointed, I usually love The Greene Turtle.
Excellent food and ambiance!! Just what my family needed after a day at the beach ( and weeks in quarantine)
I made a reservation for outside on the deck. We were told there were no seats available out there but 30 minutes later they seated people at 2 tables that were empty when we got there so I was quite disappointed they didn’t offer them to us when we reserved them. Food took a long time to come out but it was not and waitress was good.
