Welcome back to the Green Man at Lindsell. Now currently under new management and direction!

In our cosy bar we have retained the buildings original features and given it a fresh contemporary edge where we welcome both drinkers and diners alike and our tables are available on a ‘first come’ basis offering an extensive range of dishes from salads, sharing planks to wholesome pub classics.

Our 70 seat a la carte restaurant to the rear of the property is also not to be missed, with crisp white linen, delicious food and an extensive wine list making it the ideal place for lunch, dinner or any other special occasions. Bookings are welcome and recommended. Please visit our website for restaurant opening hours.

We also have a large terrace area and extensive garden to dine alfresco or enjoy a champagne cocktail. We welcome families and have plenty of area for children to play. So come on in and take a look around and we hope to see you soon!

What a gorgeous meal. We had had a hard day so decided to go to the Green man midweek, Wednesday evening. The welcome was warm, the service perfect and the food just wonderful. These days when there are so many choices it's so lovely to find somewhere that gets it right on every level. The setting is just so picturesque, but obviously it's the food that you remember and keep going back for. James is an amazing and dedicated Chef and he did not let us down. I started with the most sublime scallops my wife had mussels (perfectly sized as a starter) and then keeping the fish theme going I had wonderful prawn linguine for my main course and my wife had liver and bacon on a bed of creamy mash. For pudding, we shared the most delicious creme brûlée. A desert can often make or break a meal. It's at the end and it is what you remember. I love creme brûlée, and the Green Man's desert did not disappoint. The delicate taste of raspberry and the lovely contrasting bite of little chunks of white chocolate was to die for. Thanks for an all round wonderful experience.

I ordered fish and chips soggy chips grey fish slimy batter Could not eat and was sent back. My husband and son ordered roast beef and roast lamb Lamb was so chewy and roast potatoes frozen Stewed veg I will never go back to this restaurant it’s totally overpriced and cheap frozen ingredients

We had a very enjoyable evening celebrating my husband's birthday at the Green Man. We are locals who have been going there for many years and it is now back to its original excellent standard. The food was delicious and the service excellent. Background music was not intrusive so we were all able to speak to each other. Altogether, a good way to celebrate a birthday!

A genuinely friendly welcome before being shown to our chosen table. Quickly served drinks and had the menu explained. Our starters and main courses were excellently cooked and presented. Each was also very tasty. No desserts were taken but generous Latte coffees finished off a good meal. The bill was quickly presented upon request and gave us good value for money.

I wanted a light lunch, so selected the beetroot & goats cheese tart from the starter selection. Unfortunately it was stale and dry and inedible.

The food was absolutely delicious and the pub inside is lovely really nicely decorated Im so surprised this pub wasn't rammed packed! It definitely should be
