The Greek Spot
Great food; portions were huge. Great value.
Ambiance not bad considering it was in the parking lot
Amazing atmosphere and customer service. Between the low cost and the amount of food on your plate. I’ll definitely come back!
Great food, not busy... get a table quick, food delicious and served promptly
Delicious as usual
We love this Greek restaurant. Always consistent with great food and service.
The food is consistently very good. The prices are reasonable and it’s byob.
cashier charged the wrong item price for a lunch order. Even after we discussed the menu item, she didn’t correct the charge. i was overcharged by $7.00 and discovered it later.
Our waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful in choosing food. The food was amazing! Wish there was a slightly better selection for picky kids but overall, a great experience.
Jen was an amazing server!
Great food in a relaxed atmosphere and BYOB! Nice night out
Greek Spot was recommended to us by a friend. This is our second visit and both times were awesome.
The menu is vast and the food is really solid. We've tried Fish, Chicken and Meat dishes and all were wonderful. This is a hidden gem, and will definitely become one of my go to places.
Rotisserie lamb is tremendous.
Best Greek restaurant I’ve ever been to. Everything was exceptional.
We frequent this restaurant and love it. Food is always delicious and service is excellent
We have been to Greek Spot before, but the experience was worse this time. Service was very slow and getting our waiter's attention even just to get water was impossible. One main course was so delayed that the rest of us were already done with dinner when it arrived. This is completely unacceptable.
This was our first time at the Greek Spot. We were cheerfully welcomed by the efficient staff and asked where we would like to sit (it was an early reservation). The food was delicious and the portions were quite large. If we didn't know what something was, our waitress explained everything to us. We will go back again for the great Greek food and what makes it even nicer, it's a BYOB and has a small parking lot.
Hostess made us wait 20-25 more minutes claiming we made the reservation for 2 not 3, upon showing her the reservation she then claimed there was another with my name. Busy night maybe because of it being day after valentines; staff rushed around and rushed us that we couldn’t really enjoy ourselves. Food was good though.
We have eaten here many times. The food is great and priced well. It was Valentine’s Day. The restaurant was decorated with a few balloons. Nothing else was done to make the night special. No chocolate, or flower or anything that other restaurants do on Valentine’s Day. The service was quite poor. We always had to search for our server. She never checked in with us. Otherwise, I might have been able to get a glass of water. We had to get another server to get some water. Then we had to search for her again to order dessert. We felt ignored and it was stressful. We were tired after a day of work and just wanted to spend a special night out for Val day.
We always have a good meal and the service is attentive. You get enough food; there is always a container of leftovers coming home.
Very good all around, will definetly return
The Greek Spot was exactly the night out my fiancé and I wanted! Delicious food, great staff, and a trip to Greece! We will definitely be returning again!
Excellent fresh food. Service is superb. We took our daughter and son-in-law, both foodies from Westchester, and they loved the lamb chops, octopus, homemade stuffed grape leaves, beet salad and other appetizers! They want this to be the restaurant we go to when they visit!!!
First time going to this restaurant & enjoyed it very much. Plus, bonus. It’s a BYOB.
Excellent food with abundant portions -we will definitely return! Thank you!
One of our favorite restaurants. Love this place. The restaurant is a BYOB which is always nice. The food is always fabulous and very plentiful. We always have a take home package with leftovers. Very reasonably priced restaurant. You are served complimentary pita with olives and dipping olive oil. The Spicy Feta appetizer is to die for. It is a must try. The lemon potatoes are also great. We order both every time we eat here. I have never had dessert in the restaurant so I can't comment. There is never any room for dessert. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. They are more than happy to explain any of the dishes on the menu but note that there is a brief explanation on the menu itself. The ambiance is very clean and neat but the lights could be dimmed a bit so as to loose the cafeteria lighting.
Have eaten here before but the last 2 times on a Saturday evening, it was chaotic. Reservations were at least 15-20 minutes behind which affected the overall service and food. Service was slow due to the over-booking and food quality was average at best (dried out pork chops most likely due to the back-up in the kitchen and timing of the rest of the meal). No olives or olive oil on the table but eventually received olive oil for the pita. Suggest going during the week when the weekend crush is not on and service and food will most likely be much better.
This restaurant takes reservations but fails to honor them. We had a 7pm reservation and gave up and left at 7:45 after we still had not been seated. They should be removed from Open Table. This is the second time this has happened to us with this restaurant.
I've been to The Greek Spot several times during the week and always enjoyed each visit. It didn't occur to me that my weeknight experiences would be so different than weekends. I brought a group of couples there and had a terrible experience on a Saturday night. The restaurant apparently added 20 to 30% more tables then my last visit so there was only a few inches in between each table for everyone to squeeze through. There were only 1 or 2 busboys that we could see and too few waiters. That that we had to wait nearly a 1/2 hour for someone to approach our table to begin with, another half a hour to get some bread and eventually waited over an hour and a 1/2 for dinner. All the while though noise level with so huge, we all had headaches. Never again! I was so embarrassed to have recommended this restaurant.
We were a table of 7, and everyone loved the entire meal!!
Food was delicious, tasted like it was homemade. Wonderful waitress and hostess.
We had an amazing meal and amazing service! The food was hot and fresh and great portions. Warm and welcoming place. We will for sure be back!
Waited 30 Minutes passed out reservation time. But the food was very good. They were packed.
Great food and service! A little bit noisy but that was manageable. Will definitely go back! Everything was amazing!
Glad we had a reservation, it seems that this place has been “discovered” after a year. Good food for a good price, and service was fine. My wife and I visit monthly and will continue to do so.
Food and value are excellent but wait staff is overworked and service is slow.
Amazing food and really too reasonable! It was a busy night so we did have to wait a bit but it Was worth it - food was so fresh and cooked to perfection
Appetizers and meals were very good. The place was packed and I think the service was strained to keep up but they did a nice job. First time there but would definitely recommend and return.
As always a great well served meal
Be back and again often
