NOW OPEN FOR SUNDAY BRUNCH! Enjoy live recitals by rising Met Artists in the dining room, with a $45 prix fixe and endless bellinis.

The Grand Tier Restaurant is located inside The Metropolitan Opera House and offers both a la carte and prix fixe menus. The restaurant welcomes the general public, not just ticketed guests of the Metropolitan Opera House. The restaurant’s location makes it the perfect pre-theater dining experience for all guests of Lincoln Center. The exquisite modern cuisine and classic dining room, highlighted by Chagall murals and brilliant Swarovski crystal chandeliers, make it a memorable destination regardless of the occasion.

Ticketed guests of the Metropolitan Opera may also dine in the restaurant at intermission but must pre-order and reserve by visiting us at www.diningatmetopera.com. Reservations for ticketed guests dining at intermission ONLY are not taken via Open Table.

Late valentine day. Attending opera. Ambiance and service were excellent! Food was beautifully presented but not up to presentation. Pate was excellent. Fish was cold and not very good . I had been looking forward to baked Alaska. It looked lovely but was a combination of orange ice and vanilla ice cream. Not At all the baked Alaska I knew

The food was delicious, the 2 couse and dessert was the best value. Portions are small but flavor full. I highly recommend the Baked Alaska.

A beautiful night of dining and the opera for Valentines Day. Dinner was prompt, well prepared and delicious. The ambiance of the dining venue was perfect. I would like to point out our server, Juhli, was fantastic. She was attentive, thoughtful and a pleasure. She took great pride in her work and we were thrilled she was a part of our evening.

First two courses were really good. Don’t order the berries and cream. It was literally berries in a bowl and cream on the side. There were no pistachios as described in the menu. Not exactly a well composed dish.

Lovely setting. The food was very good. I had crab cake and ricotta filled ravioli. It was very expensive, but for once I a while a special lace to go. I ate before going to the Opera. I wish I had been told that I could eat the two courses during the intermissions as I ate me three course meal at 4:30

Our pre-theatre experience at Grand Tier Restaurant was wonderful, from the ambience, staff and the food as well. We felt like kings and queens and enjoyed ourselves tremendously. We will definitely return again!

We had a wonderful meal, unrushed although it was before a performance. The cocktails were great and the wine excellent. Dining at the Grand Tier before the opera makes the whole evening very special.
