   We were going to miss our reservation but called and they moved it back an hour with no issues. Our server Savannah was awesome and gave great recommendations on the menu. The food did not disappoint at all. Will be returning for sure. All the staff was very friendly and it was a great way to end a long day of travel.

   My fiancé and I went here for a date night. Overall the experience was great. We started off with sharing a wedge salad and gumbo, both were delicious. For our main course my fiancé got the seared snapper with at a recommendation from our server (Jackie) got the creole mustard sauce on top and she loved it! She let me have a bite and it was fresh and what made it better was that creole mustard sauce. I got the grouper piccata and I loved the creole mustard sauce so much I got some for my grouper and in my opinion it set the whole thing off! Service was great! Only con is relatively speaking to other restaurants in the area it’s a little pricey, but with how fresh the fish tasted I couldn’t complain overall a great date night spot. Request to sit by the window.

   Food and cocktails were amazing! Service was a bit slow when it came to bar service. Drinks took way to long to get to us. Second round of drinks took even longer than first. With this being such an upscale place That shouldn’t happen but we would go back. Food was great!

   Our favorite spot in PCB! Love the view from our favorite North Drop Bar upstairs! Just a great dining experience! Tuna poke is the best around, Kale Ceasar salad is so refreshing, Grouper Piccata is so amazing! Great date night spot or dinner with friends! Bar tenders are great, make the drinks cocktails just perfect every time!! Must experience when in PCB!!

    Service was excellent, food excellent, bayside view was excellent. The only drawback was the noise level. We were seated in a booth for four. However next to us was a table for eight people talking in high volume to the point we had difficulty hearing our own conversation. One of our party uses hearing aides and the volume of extraneous sounds and talking was amplified to an extent he had to leave before our meal was completed. Thank you. We do love to dine at The Grand Marlin.

    The Grand Marlin of PCB is iconic for locals and tourists alike. I made my reservation on Open Table and designated a Birthday, (my daughter’s) as a special occasion. We had menus headlined with Happy Birthday and she was served an epic dessert with candle totally done on the initiative of the restaurant. Our waiter, Rusty, could not have been more accommodating and patient! His service was impeccable and that was with a very full house! These days, everything is expensive. So, if you want every dollar to count, you have to be discerning where you’re going to spend it. The Grand Marlin will not disappoint. The meals and adult beverages were excellent, as usual. This continues to be my go-to restaurant for special occasions and all my summer guests!

    Everything was great except upstairs the table we sat at was is a corner with no fans so we were burning up & crowded up by other tables near by so it made the feel more stuffy. The rest of the upstairs all had fans except right where we were with 3 other tables.

    Grand Marlin is always a nice experience. You are always treated with the kindest service. The food is excellent, they have some good chefs. The portions are plentiful. The atmosphere is beautiful overlooking Grand Lagoon and always fun watching the boats coming in. One of the best!

    Open to bar which is nice (including music) although one couple within plain view were getting a little too frisky - the woman had her hand up the mans shirt and it was pulled halfway up his back while he got his massage. They must have forgotten there was an entire restaurant behind them😉

    Make a reservation! The service was friendly and helpful, the wedge salad, the crab cakes and the snapper were just delicious, the ice cream in praline dessert was worth the splurge, and our cozy waterside booth made for a perfect dining experience.

    Well what can you say about the Grand Marlin that hasn’t been said? Top ambiance, top service and top food. PCB should be honored that Grand Marlin calls it home(along with Pensacola equally excellent). We had grouper piccata(a staple), blackened snapper with mustard creole and the wasabi ahi tuna. We cleaned our plate. Food came out hot and fast and delicious. Make Grand Marlin your “last night at the beach” restaurant and it will be a great bookend to the week.

    The food was good, but for the price it was lacking. There are so many places in PCB now with good food for far less money. Portions were not generous. My teenage son and husband left not feeling full.

    My boyfriend and I decided to have dinner here and it was a treat! Our server Jackie was delightful. We started off with the lobster fingers which were incredible. I ordered the fried oysters with jalapeño slaw as my entree and my boyfriend ordered the pan seared snapper with whipped potatoes and green beans. We have been all around the world and it this is one of our tastiest meals we have ever had. For after dinner drinks I had the white marlin, which is a key lime martini. It tasted exactly like key lime pie. All in all it was a 10/10 experience and I can’t wait to go back!

    Have been here many times since it opened. This visit was very disappointing. The food was good and our server was excellent. However, the wait time and circumstances surrounding the wait for our table was unacceptable. We had a 7 pm reservation, made about a week in advance. We arrived at 6:50 pm and was told our table was not ready, but it would be ready by our reservation time. That was perfectly fine and understandable. We went to the bar and had a drink. At 7:20 pm no one had checked on us or given us any update. I inquired at the hostess stand and told it would be ready in just a few minutes. At 7:35 pm we were finally escorted to our table. We came to learn that they had placed several 4 tops together for a large group and it took quite some time to separate them and re set them. They knew this when we arrived, but rather than tell us this, or give us other seating options (which were available) we were left sitting and wondering what was going on. Very poor service on behalf of the hostess staff which should be addressed by management.

    We loved the menu and the quality of the food. Our server was really one of the best I’ve ever had. The prices are fine. The fish and prime rib were perfect. The seafood gumbo is to die for. I wish I’d known to ask for a table by the window. I will return to this restaurant. The only problem was that they served the meals to two of our four people. The other two meals didn’t arrive for over 10 minutes. This is unacceptable in any fine restaurant and they couldn’t give me a reason for it.

    choose the GM for a special occasion and was not disappointed. the wait person was so helpful with the wonderful menu, attentive throughout the meal without being oppresive. all our meals were the best we have ever experienced in PCB....from coctails through dessert we were so pleased. clearly this management team exploys a talented staff, very rare in 2023. this is now our go to place for fine food in a very comfortable and relaxed setting.

    Made a reservation easily online. We were greeted by a friendly beautiful hostess. Who also answered the phone very politely when I called thinking we were going to be late! (Thank you) Our server was excellent. So friendly, helpful and well informed. His smile was priceless! The food was amazing, from the appetizer of lobster tails to the dessert of praline shell with vanilla bean ice cream and mixed berries! But the entree was the best I've ever had! I decided to try the grilled sword fish served with a ginger soy sauce! It was our engagement night and truely will be remembered!

    When a server takes your drink order and the next table which seated after you. When you finally receive a beverage not the Diet Coke but water along with other party orders after being seated 25 minutes. You leave, I love eating here but we had a bad server this night. So we just left rather than starting an issue or complaining. It’s not worth it. Couldn’t drop 200.00 on a meal with my husband for bad service. Everyone has a bad day but money is money and bad service cannot be rewarded.
