   It’s as always good staff and service , but was not happy today as I ordered my regular avocado toast with salad but was not enough rocket salad and avocado was so hard was not properly ripe.

   Lovely hotel restaurant with good food and drink that's reasonable for the quality. We went during peak dinner hours on a Tuesday, and it was quiet and comfortable but still only a window away from one of Glasgow's most lively areas.

   This restaurant is described as a culinary gem of Glasfow. Well…this is not quite right. Since the very beginning we had a very bad experience. It started with pick up a table you want, while we had a reserved table and nobody bothered to ask. Then, it took us a while to get the menu. While ordering we specifically mentioned my husband is very sensitive to spicy food. We were assured there is nothing spicy in our order. When we got starters (we both ordered leek and potato soup) it was unbearably spiced with white pepper. We both couldn’t eat it and were promised it will be deducted from the bill. While waiting for the main course, the waiter suggested my husband a new soup (only him). This one was not spicy indeed. When we got our mains, the cutlery was brought to the table and literally thrown in central location on the table for both of us. My husband has got a sirloin steal, however was not given a steak knife to able cutting it. We were amazed to see 2 soups (and a full service charge) on a bill when got to payment. Unforgettably bad experience for a full price!

   Am amazing place add delicious food with live music on Friday evening and lovely staff 🥰🥰

   Big thanks to Martin. Best bar tender. Very unfortunate he finishes his shift before I could leave him a tip. Met him a few times and he is lovely , so helpful and polite and friendly

   Staff outstanding, replenishing the plates of sandwiches, quiche and haggis sausage rolls 😋 as they started to run down. Offering tea and coffee regularly. Great choice of sandwiches, egg mayo, cheese, ham hough, pastrami, salmon. Cake's were to die for. Strawberry tarts, lemon drizzle chocolate profiteroles, and of course scones with jam and cream. Would definitely recommend this buffet.

    We enjoyed the experience and service was fantastic. We felt for the price, the food really let it down. The variety and quality of the food was quite poor. A few more savoury options would have been great and sweet selection was ok but sponge cakes very dense, profiteroles and strawberry tarts very hard and cake quality overall not great.
