The Goodyear House is NoDa’s newest gathering place, built on a shared history of community and kinship.     SHRIMP AND grits outstanding. The bread is amazing. Our server was very attentive, even making sure the table stopped juggling when a coffee spilled. Good vibe all around.

    Amazing service and ambiance. We went as a couple, but I'd return in a group. The menu is set up to share. Food tasted amazing and the drink selection was eclectic.

    Goodyear was great! I brought my boyfriend who lives out of town, but comes to Charlotte frequently and this was is his favorite spot so far! Goodyear takes classic dishes and cocktails and puts a fun spin on them. Very unique and very delicious. Service was incredible as well. Nathan was so attentive, made us feel at home and made excellent recommendations for everything from our cocktails to appetizers to main course. We LOVED everything! Highly recommend the al pastor wings, the shake fries with parmesan, chopped wedge, and the New York strip - sounds straightforward, but trust me it’s anything but ordinary!

    It wasn’t bad, I was just expecting and hoping for more. The place is darling with the tents and igloo. I really just wanted the food to be better. However I will say the egg salad toast that we started with was excellent! It went downhill from there. Service was excellent too! We will go back! Maybe next time food will be better!

    Food was excellent. In order of favorites for what we ordered, the crispy rice balls were my favorite, followed by the Maltagliati, carrots, and schnitzel. The brownie desert with raspberry balsamic ice cream was really good. The restaurant was loud, it that doesn’t bother me at all. Overall, it was a great experience.

    Loved our table inside but it was opened to the outside courtyard. The music was wonderful. Our server was very attentive and helpful with suggestions from the menu. The menu is pretty limited. The steak is market priced which just didn’t seem to fit. The shrimp and grits were good. The wine selection by the glass was very good in covering a lot of good labels.

    The location is really great, the space is really nice as well. However the food on the brunch menu was less than to be desired. It wasn’t good and the amount of food for the cost was not worth it, in my opinion. The regular menu is fine but brunch needs a revamp

    We loved the location of the Goodyear House in No Da. The outdoor seating was wonderful and the ambiance was great. The cocktails were tasty. However, everything was overpriced. We ordered three appetizers, two small plates, one Large plate, and a desert. Out of all that I only liked one appetizer and the brownie desert. The food was trying too hard to be fancy, and the price definitely reflected that.

    I’ve heard a lot of different things about this place, 90% good! I know it’s an incredibly hotspot so when it’s packed it’s packed on the weekends. The best time to go is during the week. And OMG what a hidden gem this place is!!!!! The food was absolutely top-notch, phenomenal, 10 out of 10 for presentation, quality, taste, and accommodations. I would highly recommend absolutely anybody, I will be back there 100%  PS it’s also an incredible date spot !!

    Was chilly inside since it has a lot of open air seating. One of the appetizers came after the meal was served. Cocktails were good.

    A little too bohemian for me but it’s a nice quiet little place for a date. Service staff is extremely nice and knowledgeable. Extremely enjoyed the golden chicken; highly recommend.

    Food and service were great. Was disappointed with being seated inside after making an outdoor reservation weeks in advance due to a wedding event. Wish they would’ve notified me of the change before I arrived. Was very strange to be allowed to be in the restaurant when such a large space was unable to be used

    Food was excellent! We got the cucumber and tomato small portion. It’s like an Asian infusion flavor. The shrimp and grit; THE BEST WE HAVE EVER HAD and the pasta. New favorite restaurant and will be back. Only negative was depending on what time you go and how busy they are you can’t really have a conversation one on one with someone it’s very loud. But you could feel the vibes were good. Oh oh!! And those fried rice balls….!! I wanted like 7 orders! Haha so delicious.

    Great meal. Our waitress, Bailey, was very knowledgeable and attentive. Started with the rice balls. Small fried balls of rice served over sauce. Very nice flavor. Then I had the Golden chicken, charred broccolini and cashew Mac. This was excellent! The chicken was moist and flavorful. They say “deboned”, but there are still small bones, so be careful. The charred broccolini and cashew Mac were wonderful! May only issue is the price, but given the flavor, I’m still coming back. Just less often than I would like.

    Was there for a date and the place was suggested. Was very well pleased. Sat drown right away to our table and the service was excellent. The food was outstanding and so delicious. The best part was one one the managers was walking around asking how we were doing and we told her that it was a little cold (air vent was right on our table), she acknowledged us and turned down the air and came back just as nice and asked how the temperature felt. Wonderful food, location, atmosphere, and service. Will be back for sure.

    Everything was pretty great. Our waitress was fantastic (Raquel) but the hostesses were not friendly at all. Although the shrimp “snack” was delicious- I was a bit disappointed with the fact it’s served with 2 cent Saltine crackers. It was a bit of a surprise. An upgraded type of cracker or something would make that perfect. Corn curls were awesome - as was the goopy burger. Ambiance is the best part of this restaurant. Perfect outside.

    Food is okay here normally. Got a salad with shrimp and they were sliced in half lengthwise and uncooked/underdone. Center of shrimp were gray and raw vs. pink/white. I think they comp'd that meal, but was a little disappointing. That said, it's a nice vibe and service is terrific. We'll go back but were disappointed in the food, especially at the price point.

    Service was great, food was excellent! Perfect date night spot with a wonderful atmosphere. Make sure to arrive early to find parking (lucked out and got a spot in front on N. Davidson). Make sure to try to brownie for dessert, it's so underrated.

    My boyfriend and I randomly chose the Goodyear house while we were in Charlotte visiting for the night. Everything was fantastic! Our server was great, very attentive. I definitely recommend the shrimp and saltine appetizer and to sit outside if you can!
