    Went there for the queens feast, price to the portion and quality of the food was not great. Used to love the place but was not happy with how dinner went.

    The food and cocktails were fantastic. Very high quality. But the service…the service was amateurish. We ordered a starter and entrees. The entrees came out first. We mentioned to the individual that we had ordered a starter and she was like, omg. Let me check on that. The waiter came by and had some lame excuse about it. And dropped off a dessert menu. Hello, we have only taken one bite of food and where is our starter. Can you say “please get done quickly so I can get another turn on this table.” This restaurant has the bones to be incredible but you need to work on the experience of the customer please.

    Fun, delicious summer cocktail menu, albeit expensive ($16-17). Everyone working was very young & very friendly & attentive. We did the Queen's Feast menu which is a good value compared to their expensive regular menu. Marinated shrimp & rice balls both awesome, highly recommend. Also, bread pudding very tasty, tho the ratio was off, needed more pudding compared to the whipped cream (and I'm a whipped cream gal from Wis!). Our entrees were just mediocre: pasta, swordfish. I thought both very salty tho my husband thought fine. Swordfish was more med rare, which we prefer medium but not a deal-breaker. Both entrees just under-whelming. The braised or steamed green beans (forget what menu said) served with the fish could have easily been french-style beans from a can, looked & tasted the same. I'd prefer less cooked, something more fresh with my fish especially on a sweltering, hot July eve! Would have liked to have seen a light/citrusy type dessert option, as we were both quite full. Did order the blueberry sorbet (ok, nothing great) just to cleanse our palate & settle our tum-tums and of course HAD to try the banana pudding. But maybe a napoleon or light & fluffy cheesecake, lemon chiffon cake, key lime pie, etc. Ambience nothing to speak of, plain wooden tables & chairs with wood floors & walls, average light fixtures; just feel they could do more with this space. Also, the doors from the outside walkway into the bar are just weird, no one knows if you're supposed to use them or use the 1 main door...and are they automatic, so you wait a minute, no they are not. Glad we tried during the Queen's Feast Week vs a special anniversary or birthday, would have been more disappointed! The outside bar/patio in back looks really nice tho, would definitely try that in cooler weather!

    The noise eas excessive, wait staff was pokey at best,. Nobody would ever take a empty dish from out table leaving it cluttered and hard for them to put a new dish on. We tried several dishes that had no flavor like the shrimp and blueberry tiramisu

    The service was painfully slow - it took an hour to get our first round of drinks, thankfully the food wasn’t as long of a wait. The noise was really bad, the full group agreed it was hard to converse with the person next to you because the noise containment is so poor. Multiple people in the group are fans of this place, so I wouldn’t say never again, I would just say probably not the best spot for a larger group.

    Food was excellent, Service was outstanding. Drinks were also great. We went on our anniversary and they gave us a free desert. Lived everything about the restaurant.

    We used to love Goodyear House but recently they paired down their menu quite a bit and there aren’t many good options anymore. They used to have plenty of plantbased dishes, which several people in our party prefer, but they only had two last night — The smoked cashew mac and cheese (so good!) and a salad that only included lettuce, onion, and dressing. They didn’t even have a vegetable that was vegan. I’m hoping that Goodyear will bring back some of the good food options they previously had, especially plantbased ones, and will add a plantbased protein option for salads. Otherwise we’ll probably only get drinks here moving forward — The ambience is so great!
