   You cannot beat the patio/outdoor area at Goodyear House. The Cashew Mac was as amazing as ever. Really loved the charred cabbage small plate and the beets and ricotta dish. We had some hits and misses on this visit - overcooked spare ribs, drinks that came out after our appetizers were finished, etc. Bit pricey for what it was.

   Sadly, my husband and I noticed a decline in the food since we first started going to this restaurant a couple years ago. My shrimp and grits were amazing however, his hamburger was extremely salty, and we love salt! He also said the fries were not hot. The cocktails, though delicious we both felt were overpriced for the volume as the glasses were filled predominantly with ice. Our waitress and host were fantastic. The noise level and ambience started off perfectly, and then it got to the point where we were nearly yelling across the table, and there were only four of us. The noise level increased at about 8:00 PM. Before returning, we will certainly be reading other reviews, but this could be our last visit which is so sad as it has been a favorite spot for us in the past.

   Coolest atmosphere for a date night or get together. Beautiful outdoor area but really anywhere in the restaurant would be a good time. Fun family style meal choices and delicious seasonal cocktails. One of my favorite experiences in Charlotte

   The food was both unique and delicious- the maltagliati with pork sugo was the best pasta dish I’ve had in ages. The portions were just right, and the service was excellent too!

   Went on a Sunday for brunch. Service was slow, food was good, menu very limited.

    The outdoor dining area is beautiful on a nice day or evening. The fireplace room dining area is very loud so not a place to sit if you want to have a conversation.
